Kira obeyed every command perfectly in her bunny costume, her face sweating with clear evidence of fear, being hidden from the audience.
And the fuzzy bunny is not holding back, the bunny is going to save you children.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. All the children exclaimed happily jump up and dancing as the battle continued.
"Isn't the bad guy suppose to also be dressed in a costume." Someone muttered from the audience with barely audible voice, however, Vexis could hear it with perfect clarity.
"I think they decided to make a little change in the traditional way today." Vexis responded, wrapping his hand around the curious fellow's shoulder and on his face, was a smile that transcended that of ordinary human.
It was Divine, almost as if it carried its own inner light that made the little curious kid lost in his eyes.
"Like the new change, how about you." Vexis asked with his smile still present.
The kid, with stars in his eyes nodded. How could she disapprove when she an angelic figure like this man was in approval.
Very good. Vexis ruffled the little girl hair. Enjoy the show.
The moment he turned back to the stage, his presence disappeared, bringing back his cold calculating gaze.
He was just right in time. The figure, who was assumed as the villain of this show was getting back to his feet again.
This scumbag sure don't know when to give up. Vexis muttered under his breath as he placed his hand of the Shadowbud.
Yes, Shadowbud— that is infact the name of the gadget of Vexis ear and the fuzzy bunny.
The entire combat was being orchestrated by him. The lady inside the big doll, was more of his hostage and the person acting the villain is more of his link to his enemy.
He have been an assassin for too long to not understand what is going on. He already understood the whole picture but still do not know where his enemies were at.
He... He is getting back to his feet. Kira voice trembled as she spoke through the device.
I can see that. Vexis responded. Infact I am growing bored of this.
I'll give you one more combo of attack, if you fail to perform it perfectly again, you'll face a penalty. His tone was nearly guttural as he spoke, like a growling wild animal.
He was being as cautious as he could, speaking clearly without even moving his mouth.
Although, all focus— the audience and his enemies were at the fight, that still didn't give him the freedom to let his guard down or act suspicious. The were eyes everywhere after all.
Take two step backwards and take your stance again.
Kira nodded and obeyed, making her motion as perfect as she could.
As soon as the man who she was dueling with got back to his feet, he did something she thought he wouldn't dare since they were out in public; he pulled out two daggers from his inner shirt, one for each hand.
I am done playing around. He spoke with a crazed smile on his face, a smile of someone who was craving to spray some blood.
If I take care of you now, it will save my contractor all the stress of hiring any assassins than they have already hired and I'll claim the bigger share of the bounty on your head.
Vexis, the solo assassin.
This struck kira like a lightning bolt. She had finally uncovered more Intel about why this was happening.
The man who was using her as hostage was some sort of assassin, that is being hunted by others.
She heard it with crystal clarity, there was a bounty on his head, and he had redirected all the attention of the hunter to her now. And not just this blood tasty freak in front of her— they were more.
The way he place his statement made it clear that they were already a handful of assassins after the Vexis guy, and now, they had wrongly assumed her to be him... She could see her chances of survival growing thinner.

The cold calculative voice suddenly resonated through the Shadowbud, quickly bringing kira back to reality from her thoughts.
She jolted a bit due to how sudden Vexis voice came through, but quickly took action, almost a little too late.
Fortunately for her, she managed to pull it out perfectly.
A punch to the left, another punch to the right. This had made her opponent assume a defensive pose, blocking her punches from his vitals with his arm.
After both jabs, her opponent has attempted to also go in for an attack since he was armed with daggers now, however, she had taken the next action — squat.
She perfectly dodged the punch with a squat and as he rose back up...
Wham!
The uppercut had collided with full force. She had put all her strength into the punch for the greatest impact which lifted her opponent to the air and sent him tumbling back to the ground unconscious.
Yeeeeaaaahhhhh!
Cheers erupted from the spectators as the commentator spoke. And with a devastating attack, our hero fuzzy bunny had taken down the villain.
Children, you have been saved!!!
Yeeeeaaaahhhhh! The children erupted into another cheer as they rushed towards kira, inside a massive doll costume, panting heavily with both hands on her knees.
Fuzzy bunny, you were amazing. The children rushed to give Akira a big hug.
You save us from g e bad guy's, I wish I was like you.
I love you fuzzy bunny.
Multiple comments of admiration were rained to kira, who was trying to catch her breath; not entirely from exhaustion, but also from fear.
Blend in and continue to act you role this instant. Again, the Shadowbud resonated with the cold voice of Vexis.
Right sir! Kira stuttered and she stood up right, accepting all the embrace from the children.
Vexis who continued to watch from a seat on a safe distance from Akira, grinned.
Don't feel exhausted this early, amusement parks are for fun after all. The fun is only getting started.
