She paused briefly as the audience became quieter.
"In the first round, all of you will be paired into teams. Of course, one fortunate participant will receive the lucky opportunity to advance directly to the second round without having to fight."
Hearing that, Lana immediately pouted. "If it is based on luck, then I am definitely going to lose."
Sure enough, a large container containing folded slips was brought onto the stage. Lana stared at it suspiciously.
'What kind of competition is this? Even the domestic Mystic Cultivation Competition in my country did not rely this heavily on luck.'
