Chapter 76 - 《DXD: Infinite Loot System》Chapter 77: Issei’s Breaking Point

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Tenra darted across the sky, weaving through a barrage of light spears and magical blasts raining down like a hailstorm.

"Shuria, Mittelt, Kalawarner—let's see how you handle this."

With a sweep of his wings, Tenra soared upward, hand raised, a cold smirk on his lips.

"Boost! Boost!! Boost!!!"

Ddraig's voice echoed from the gem in his armor. Three surging energy blasts, each amplified several times over, shot toward the trio.

Shuria, Mittelt, and Kalawarner's faces blanched. They beat their wings furiously, dodging left and right, but the shots tracked them relentlessly. No matter how they twisted or dove, the orbs closed in. Explosions split the air—one, two, three—and the girls tumbled from the sky with startled cries.

"Raynare, looks like you're the last one standing."

Tenra glanced at Raynare, who'd somehow managed to link her power threads to him mid-fight. His smile turned sly.

"One is more than enough for you to handle!"

Raynare flashed a wicked, hungry grin and activated her Absorption Line. Instantly, Tenra's strength began to flow through the connection, siphoned away by the fallen angel.

"Hahaha… As expected of my master—such boundless power!"

"More! I want more—give me everything!"

Raynare's laugh twisted with mad delight as she drank in Tenra's energy, her dark aura growing wilder, more violent with every second.

Tenra could only shake his head at her descent into gleeful madness.

She wants more? Fine—let's see how much she can take.

"HAA!"

Tenra unleashed a fresh surge of power, his aura exploding outward, the Red Dragon Emperor's might multiplying with every heartbeat.

At first, Raynare reveled in the torrent she drew from him. But soon, her pleasure warped into agony—her body trembled, her face contorted in pain.

"Too much—too much—too much—!"

"AAAAAAHHHHH!"

Her scream shattered the air. Raynare's hair whipped wildly, and her barely-there dominatrix outfit disintegrated in a burst of magic. If Tenra hadn't cut off the flow at the last second, she might have been torn apart from the inside out.

"Still a long way to go, Raynare…"

Tenra landed, dismissing his armor, and looked down at Raynare sprawled naked and gasping on the ground.

"One day, I'll drain you dry, my master…"

She met his gaze, licking her lips, eyes burning with feverish longing.

Tenra just laughed softly.

Raynare, thinking she could drain him dry? In bed or out, she was nowhere near enough.

With a wave of his hand, gentle orbs of healing light drifted from his palm, settling over the girls scattered across the field. Their wounds faded instantly, magic knitting flesh and bone back together.

No combat power, but Twilight Healing was priceless for Tenra and his followers.

"Tenra-san, everyone—breakfast!"

The battered training ground was already mending itself under restorative magic as Yubelluna, Asia, and a few others emerged from the house, arms full of lunchboxes.

"Mmm, Lord Tenra's scent…"

Ni and Li dropped everything and latched onto Tenra, nuzzling against him with blissful, catlike devotion.

These two were hopeless—always clinging, always seeking his touch. But they were his familiars, after all. Tenra let them be.

"Tenra-san, you worked so hard this morning."

Asia hurried over, dabbing sweat from his forehead with her handkerchief, gentle and earnest.

"Asia, we're heading to school soon. Why don't you come along?"

Tenra accepted her care with a smile, brushing a hand over her hair.

"School?"

"Yeah. There are a few friends I'd like you to meet. I'm sure they'll love you."

"Okay!"

Asia, who now saw Tenra as both her pillar and her faith, had no hesitation. The mention of new friends only made her eyes shine brighter with anticipation.

After breakfast and a short rest, Tenra and the girls got ready for school. This time, he even dragged Gasper—the resident shut-in—along with them.

Gasper had wailed and protested, but a quick beating from Tenra had convinced him that the outside world was less terrifying than Tenra's fists.

As they stepped outside, they ran into Issei Hyoudou, who was trudging toward school himself.

"Yo, Issei."

Tenra greeted him with a casual wave.

"Oh… hey, Tenra…"

Issei's eyes were ringed with dark circles, his gaze dull and lifeless. He barely glanced at Tenra and the girls before shuffling ahead, shoulders slumped, the very picture of defeat.

For a guy who'd always dreamed of oppai and beautiful girls, the horrifying realization that he might actually be attracted to men had left Issei completely mentally wrecked these past two days.

Motohama and Matsuda had already given up the fight and embraced their new "interests." Just yesterday, Issei had caught the two sneaking into a nearby love hotel after school. The sight had filled him with unspeakable dread and disgust, but he didn't know how much longer he could hold out.

One side, oppai. The other, men.

One side, desire. The other, confusion.

It was a battle of angel and devil inside his head, and Issei felt like he was losing his mind.

His silhouette faded down the street, lonely and lost. Where was his path supposed to lead…?

"Tenra-san, is that our neighbor?"

Asia watched Issei's retreating figure with a hint of concern.

"Yeah. That's Issei Hyoudou from next door. Second year, same school as us."

Tenra's lips curled in a faint smile.

In the original timeline, Asia and Issei would have formed a deep bond—eventually even marrying and starting a family. But now? Asia belonged to Tenra, heart and soul. Issei, stripped of his Sacred Gear and reduced to a background character, didn't even have the right to approach her.

"Asia, that Hyoudou is a pervert among perverts, the biggest lech in school. Don't you dare get close to him."

"Yeah, Asia-nee, that creep Issei is the worst! All the older girls at school avoid him."

"Maru and Ile are right, Asia. If that Issei tries anything, call us right away."

The girls chimed in, one after another, warning Asia to steer clear of Issei Hyoudou—the most loathed, pathetic lecher in their eyes.

Asia had been planning to get along with her new neighbor, but after hearing all this, she felt a chill run down her spine.

She nodded, determination settling in her heart.

"I understand. I'll be careful, everyone."
