Chapter 51 - 《DXD: Infinite Loot System》Chapter 51: Aika Kiryuu Makes Her Move

The next morning, barely through the school gates, Tenra was summoned by Rias. Predictably, she wanted to talk about [Boosted Gear].

"So this is the legendary Longinus… As expected of my Tenra!"

Akeno's fingers traced the ornate crimson gauntlet on Tenra's left hand, her eyes bright with curiosity. Suddenly, she wrapped her arms around him, beaming with pride.

Across the room, Koneko nibbled her yokan in silence but shot Tenra a couple of sidelong glances before returning to her snack.

"Sigh… so it really is the Sacred Gear that sealed the Red Dragon Emperor."

"You're at the center of every rumor now. All the major factions are watching you. I'm sure the White One's already heard and will show up soon. Be careful."

Rias's voice was tinged with worry, her gaze complex as she studied Tenra.

His power was absurd—almost laughably so. A Sacred Gear that could plunder other Sacred Gears—even legendary Longinus weren't safe. No one could guess what heights he might reach.

But there were always those who wouldn't let him grow unchecked. Even if they were biding their time now, trouble was inevitable.

"Rias, are you worried about me?"

Tenra pulled Akeno into his lap, eyes fixed on Rias with a teasing smile.

"Hmph. We are, after all, engaged—at least in name. A little concern is only natural."

Rias crossed her arms, doing her best to sound nonchalant.

"Ara ara, Rias, is that really all?"

Nestled in Tenra's embrace, Akeno's smile was pure mischief.

Rias's eye twitched. Traitor, she cursed silently. But under Akeno's playful gaze, she couldn't help turning her head away, cheeks faintly pink.

The next few days passed in rare peace. Neither the Fallen Angels nor the Church made any moves. Tenra had half-expected someone to come for him, but with the world quiet, he was happy to enjoy it. School by day, deepening bonds with Akeno and his peerage by night—life was good.

Another day, another class—Yubelluna was at the blackboard, her presence as commanding as ever.

With her mature charm and striking figure, Yubelluna had admirers of every gender. She lectured calmly while boys and girls alike stared, dreamy-eyed. The air in the classroom was thick with a strange tension.

Tenra, bored, yawned by the window. Rias sat in front of him, Akeno at his side.

Akeno still couldn't quite believe she got to attend school like a normal girl—and as Tenra's desk partner, no less. She'd been glowing for days. Rias, on the other hand, was still getting used to the sensation of Tenra's eyes on her back every day, though she was adapting—slowly.

Yubelluna's voice was pleasant enough, but Tenra much preferred her nightly moans to her lectures. With plenty of time before the bell and nothing to do, he considered stretching his legs.

"Yubelluna-sensei, my stomach's acting up. Can I go to the infirmary?"

He stood, voice perfectly innocent.

Akeno covered her lips, stifling a laugh. Rias twisted around to glare at him, unimpressed. With Tenra's current strength, a stomachache was laughable—couldn't he at least come up with a better excuse?

Yubelluna, of course, knew her master was simply bored. She nodded serenely.

"Siris, Karamae, please accompany Tenra."

"Yes, sensei."

The two girls rose, drawing a wave of jealous and worried looks from their classmates as they followed Tenra out.

"I'm just going for a walk. You don't need to tag along," Tenra said, glancing back at them.

"We are your knights, Tenra-sama. Staying by our lord's side is our duty."

Their tone was cool, faces serious.

Tenra shrugged. If they wanted to follow, let them.

They wandered the campus aimlessly. Even during class, plenty of students were outside for PE or special lessons. Everywhere they went, students greeted them with enthusiasm.

Despite having transferred only days ago, Tenra and his girls were already school celebrities—especially among the female students. Rumor had it he'd racked up titles like "Academy's Most Eligible Bachelor," "Public Enemy of All Boys," and "Perfect Prince." Tenra just laughed it off.

"Ow… ow, that hurts!"

As they passed the sports field, a girl suddenly tumbled right in front of them.

Siris and Karamae frowned. Every day, countless lovesick girls tried to get close to their master. They moved to shoo the girl away, but Tenra lifted a hand, stopping them.

He shook his head, amused, and helped the girl up.

"Miss, whether you're trying to fake an accident or just strike up a conversation, your acting could use some work."

"Haha… so you saw right through me. As expected of senpai."

The girl showed not a hint of embarrassment. She dusted herself off, grinning with disarming honesty.

Now Tenra got a good look at her—petite, pink-rimmed glasses, brown hair in twin braids. She looked vaguely familiar, but he couldn't quite place her.

"Aika Kiryuu, second year. Nice to meet you, Tenra-senpai."

She extended a hand, her smile wide and genuine.

"Tenra Kamiyo, third year. Nice to meet you, Kiryuu-san."

Tenra's eyes narrowed slightly as he shook her hand. Suddenly, it clicked—

Wasn't this the pervy girl from Issei's class in the original story?

Aika Kiryuu. Ordinary human, but unforgettable.

Bold enough to swap dirty jokes with the school's infamous trio, and rumored to have a "supernatural eye" for sizing up boys—she was remarkable in her own way.

"Kiryuu-san, you seem to know me?"

"Hehe… Of course! Any girl who doesn't know the famous Tenra-senpai isn't worthy of calling herself a student!"

"Are you touring the school? Need a guide? I know this place inside out!"

"Kiryuu-san, don't you have class?"

"We're in PE. It's free activity, so I'm off the hook."

"I see. Then I'll take you up on your offer."

"Hehe, it's my honor to help Tenra-senpai."

Aika Kiryuu was a natural talker, quick to close the distance between them. She really did know the school—from its history and architecture to every club and rumor. She rattled off facts with infectious energy.

Tenra found himself enjoying the free tour—and the girl's company.

"Tenra-senpai, this is the soccer club, and over there's the baseball club, and here—"

She was in the middle of pointing out another club when Tenra stopped in front of a building, curiosity piqued.

"Kiryuu-san, what's in here?"

Aika glanced over, blinked, then pushed her glasses up with a sly grin.

"Oh, this? Well, Tenra-senpai… let me show you something interesting…"
