...At the palace...
The soldiers stand in formation. Some are bruised, others bandaged, but all wear pride like armor. Everyone involved in the situation including the other three members of the royal council assembled.
With the investigating team standing in front of the congregation while the three other members of the royal council stood by the side.
Khaos: (on a search for Kasper)
The grand doors open as Queen Lyrixa steps in, her presence commanding absolute silence.
Lyrixa: You stood against death... and did not flinch. (Her voice cold but warm. She pauses, walking slowly past the rows of soldiers). The Rare Scale Dragon, a beast feared even in the deepest corners of Purgatory, has fallen… not to a single blade, but to your unity, your resolve, and your refusal to abandon each other. (stops with her eyes scanning the crowd).
Dragon: Raw (let put a squeaky roar)
Kasper: (glanced towards the direction of the roar)
As soon as he arrived before the palace Pookie was immediately confiscated in a cage charged with mana to prevent it from escaping. But locking it up in a cage was literally the worst idea. It kept making annoying noises while trying to escape and get back to Kasper
Lyrixa: Lady Lyraen, Commander Plagg… and every one of you who fought, shielded, healed, or stood your ground. You did more than win a battle today. (Her voice rises slightly). You reminded every demon, soldier, and citizen that bravery is not found in power alone… but in purpose. In sacrifice. In loyalty.
Dragon: Rawww (let out a loud roar)
Lyrixa: (raises her hand gesturing them to release it) Two days from now, there will be a public acknowledgment, a reward ceremony. Every soul who bore arms and gave their strength today will be honored before the city. Your names will not be forgotten. Rest now, brave ones. Eat, heal, and hold your heads high. For tonight the realm breathes in peace, because of you."
(turns back toward the throne, her final words echoing through the marble chamber).
Just after Lyrixa's speech, a loud shouts and screams of celebration blasted through. The round figure stumbled it's way to Kasper.
Kasper: (bent down to pick up the figure running over to him) Hey pookie.
Dragon: (nuzzled her head against his chin)
Lyraen: (walked up to him with a pretty smile) You did a great job out there Kasper. If not for you, the whole city might have been massacred and flattened under the rare scale dragon's feet.
Khaos: Kasper (ran up to him with Plagg tagging behind) Lady Lyraen (saluted upon seeing her)
Lyraen: (nodded)
Khaos: You got the necklace with you? (Asked while searching then her eyes fell on it)
Lyraen: (glanced towards the necklace around his neck) Is that a...(About to ask when Bael called for her)
Bael: Lyraen! (Calmly called out with his black robe that had an extended neck length, concealing his nose and mouth, with only his eyes up to his hair visible)
Lyraen: (took a last look at the necklace before turning to leave)
Kasper: Why didn't you tell me? (Stole a glance the three members of the council expect Klaus walking up to a room where Lyrixa had entered few minutes ago)
Khaos: I swear I knew nothing about it also (covered her face embarrassed)
Kasper: Ahhh (sighs)
Plagg: (glared at Kasper waiting to see his next action) I'm sure he's going to terminate the agreement (thought within himself) I would secretly end him once he opens his mouth for a termination. (Narrowed his eyes)
Kasper: Fiiiine (dragged his words lazily) Never thought I'd have a wife just yet. But it's done already, seems I have no choice.
Plagg: Uhn? (Taken aback) He agreed? He doesn't seem to have ill intentions towards Khaos unless he has done cards up his sleeves, or am I overthinking? (Thought)
Khaos: Y...Y...You agreed? (Stunned)
Kasper: I have no other choice. I ju... (Suddenly stopped in his words and fell forward)
Khaos: Erh??? (Caught Kasper who fall face first into her unconscious) Kasper?
Kasper: Urgh! K...Kha (Groaned as his eyes weakly closed)...Os.
...
Next morning...
Kasper: Arghh!! (Slowly opened his eyes)
He instinctively close his eyes at the sun rays peeking into the room, shining on his face. He slowly adjusted his eyes to the lighting of the environment.
Kasper: Where am I? What happened to me? (Confused)
