Kasper: (nods) I was able to collect this (brought out two glass tube with contained some purplish gas in one and a dark blood in the other)
Lyrixa: (widened) Is that Miasma?
Kasper: I guess that should be it and the other contains a sample of the creatures blood.
Lyrixa: (processed every details Kasper had just told her) How is there miasma in the residents area? (Asked herself)
Kasper: resident areas?
Lyrixa: Nevermind, you may take your leave (hurriedly requested before she spilled confidential information of the kingdom to a human who was a threat)
Kasper: (knew Lyrixa was holding herself back from spilling out an important information which was probably a confidential one) Yes your majesty (bowed then took his leave)
...
The next day the investigating team (Kasper, Lyraen, Howzer and Leon) assembled once again for another investigating mission.
Lyraen: (stole glances at Kasper countless times)
Kasper: (suddenly called out) Lady Lyraen?
Lyraen: (shrilled in shock thinking Kasper probably caught her stealing glances at him) Y..yes?
Kasper: I wanna ask?
Lyraen: What's that?
Kasper: what's the relationship with Miasm and the demon city?
Lyraen: Uhn? Where did you see it? (Concerned)
Kasper: Ehm... I overheard some demons talking about miasma.
Lyraen: Oh. I don't know anything about the relationship between miasma and the demon city.
Kasper: Ohkay it's fine (looked around finding for clues)
Lyraen: We are heading to the demon's village farms. There are cases of death because of famine in the demon villages. Farmers are nagging about the land not growing crops well. (Sighed sadly) If things go on like this every demon will migrate to kingdom of Babylonia, increasing the amount of young demon soldiers in their kingdom.
Kasper: Which is a disadvantage and kingdom of Porgutary will be at a big loss. (Placed his under his chin while in thoughts).
After few minutes their horses stopped above a cliff and below was a vast land with houses and large farmland. They unmounted their horses and led them down the cliff.
As they slowly approached the village, everyone eyes began to glue to them as they walked through.
Lyraen: (asked an old man who looked tired and lanky) Grandpa. (Went on one knee)
Grandpa: My daughter. (Slowly called out)
The grandpa's long grey bushy eyebrows now covered his eyes like grey curtains and his grey beard like that of an old goatee. Three strained of grey hair stood high and mighty on his bald head. With just a glance at the old demon's hair Kasper tried all means to suppress his laugh. The crazy urge to burst out laughing was killing him. If he were to have his phone with him in this world and if he were to be like those rude, non-challant highschool bad boys, he would have taken a quick shot and edited a meme with a tag "HIGH and MIGHTY".
Grandpa: You don't look like anyone around here. Are you from the city? (His hand careful on her shoulder).
Lyraen: Yes grandpa. We're from the palace.
Demon villagers: (gasps) From the palace? (Whispered to one another)
Grandpa: (stares quietly at the group of four)
Lyraen: (pulls out a royal permission from her pocket then showed the old demon) We are here under the demon queen's permission to inspect the village.
Demon villagers: Did anyone commit a crime?
Are they here to send us away because we can't produce any crops? (The murmuring began to grow louder)
Grandpa: SILENCE! (his cold commanding voice echoed, puting an end to the annoying murmurs). What's your name?
Lyraen: I'm Wrath Lyraen, a member of Wrath witch-dom. (Introduced herself looking high and upright)
Demon villagers: Wrath Lyraen? The most powerful witch-dom in Porgutary. (Whispers) Isn't she the cold ruthless witch that doesn't hesitate to kill her enemies. (Frightening)
Lyraen: (wasn't moved and didn't react to the villagers murmurs)
Howzer: The legendary witch? (Stunned and left in awe).
Howzer had always heard the tales of the legendary ruthless witch who was a member of the powerful witch-dom (WRATH) from his late grandmother. But years later the witch disappeared and the rumors died down after concluding that she was probably dead.
Kasper: (glanced at her) Hmm not bad (a smirk crept up his face)
Grandpa: Lyraen... (Slowly spoke) I'm the elder of this village. We've been going through a hard time between our farmers and our lands. And since the demon queen sent you, please help us (the old man begged)
