Alex almost ran through the hallway that led from the ballroom to a secret entrance only the royal family knew off. The other entrance to the hallway opened at any location in the castle. Only those with the royal blood of the descendants of Calathorne could find and open it. There was one secret entrance in every room and hallway. You just had to picture where you want to go or something you want to find. If it's an object you want to find it had to have a traceable magic on it. Like a mana print.
