Just as Tsuneo took the late-night snack Akemi made, Dr. Agasa and Conan, who were standing by the computer, exclaimed.
"What's going on?!"
"A computer virus, Night Baron." Ai took a deep breath, trying to calm herself, and explained.
"Once a computer outside the Organization tries to access the data, the virus will cause irreparable damage to the floppy disk itself. I was too careless."
"All the data?" Conan looked at the dark computer screen, unwilling to believe the fact.
"As you can see, all the data has been destroyed, and the programs on this computer are also completely ruined."
Ai jumped off the chair, walked to Tsuneo with her hands behind her back, and looked up at him.
"My computer..." Dr. Agasa tried to move the mouse a few times, realizing there was no response.
He still needed to chat with his online friends tomorrow; he had to fix it quickly!
The Detective covered his forehead, feeling a headache, unable to speak.
"What do you want?" Tsuneo asked indifferently, eating his sandwich, looking at the young lady staring at him.
What's wrong with him eating a late-night snack after driving to Shizuoka Prefecture and back, a five to six hour round trip?
The floppy disk problem has nothing to do with him.
He is only responsible for the hardware.
"I thought you'd really dislike the combination of peanut butter and blueberry jam." Ai finished speaking, staring at the last remaining sandwich on the plate.
Sister made so many; you should at least leave one for her to try, right?
"You're wrong; I don't dislike any food." Tsuneo smiled, stuffed the last sandwich into his mouth, and handed the empty plate to Ai.
Ai stared at the few breadcrumbs on the plate, lost in thought...
...
"Big Brother, there's a problem here."
It wasn't until the latter half of the night that Vodka slowly woke up and quickly called Gin.
Fortunately, the alley where he parked was quite secluded, with few residents nearby; otherwise, it would have been troublesome if someone had found his body.
"What's wrong?"
"It's the Black-Clothed Man from the warehouse that day; he appeared again!" Vodka said, his face swollen, as he found his sunglasses from under the car seat and put them on, recounting how he was attacked tonight.
"Useless. Clean up the scene, then find an opportunity to get rid of that old man." Gin coldly issued the order.
"Understood." Vodka's body trembled, and he quickly responded.
After hanging up the phone, he breathed a sigh of relief.
Whenever the Black-Clothed Man is mentioned, Big Brother's whole demeanor changes, like an iceberg; it's terrifying!
"Clean up..."
Vodka looked at the driver in the driver's seat, a cruel smile on his lips.
I'm truly sorry, but it seems there's no way for you to continue staying in the Organization.
A rookie who's only one month shy of two and a half years, goodbye...
...
The next day, night.
Tsuneo sat at home, looking at a note on the table, a helpless expression on his face, and began to change his clothes.
He had been planning to rest tonight.
But while tidying his clothes, he suddenly found the note the delinquents had given him outside the phone booth last night.
"Tomorrow night, old place."
The information on the note was simple, only stating the time and place; presumably, only he could understand it...
"Almost forgot about this guy."
Tsuneo put on his gear, donned his vest, and quietly left the house.
Twenty minutes later.
He arrived outside the back door of a bar and looked at the figure sitting on the steps, wearing a motorcycle helmet.
"Why so late?" Amuro Tooru glanced at the tall black silhouette.
He had waited from eight to ten o'clock, and this guy finally appeared.
It seems those guys really didn't encounter an impostor.
"I forgot." Tsuneo dared to speak the truth.
Amuro Tooru: ...
He really wanted to take off his helmet and smash it into the other person's face.
Would a normal person say such a thing in such a relaxed tone?
"Speak, you've found so many random people, why are you looking for me?" Tsuneo glanced around, seeing no one, and got straight to the point.
He had to admit, Touko's influence was significant.
Not only people from the Public Security Bureau but also some underground organizations could be mobilized.
"Something has happened within the Organization recently." Amuro Tooru said, pausing as if deliberating on how to put it.
"Sherry?" Tsuneo asked, puzzled.
The biggest event within the Black Organization recently was probably the defection of this coded member, right?
Gin frantically commanded his subordinates, killing all the way, dispatching people everywhere to search for the traitor's whereabouts, and even setting fire to several strongholds.
Whether as an undercover agent or as a Public Security Bureau officer, it would be strange if Touko didn't know.
"How do you know everything?" Amuro Tooru frowned, staring at Tsuneo.
Does he not even need to speak in the future?
If things continue like this, why bother being an undercover agent gathering intelligence? He might as well just follow him around as his subordinate.
Tsuneo smiled, not answering the question.
Unfortunately, he was involved in all these recent messy affairs...
"Can you find out where she is?" Regarding the codename Sherry, a lot of information has been circulating within the Organization recently, and a certain surname that appeared particularly caught Amuro Tooru's attention.
"She's in a very safe place."
Tsuneo nodded, not minding revealing a little about her current situation.
"She's with you?!" Amuro Tooru's eyes widened when he heard this, his voice involuntarily rising a few octaves.
How was this even possible???
To be able to extract someone from the Organization's grasp, have you become invulnerable?
"She's not with me, and I'm not some kidnapper..." Tsuneo's tone was rather helpless.
The way he said it, it sounded like he had formed some strange group that specifically took in Black Organization defectors...
"Are there any other details about her you can share with me?" Amuro Tooru was silent for a moment, then continued to ask.
"Did I ever mention fees to you?" Tsuneo suddenly gasped, asking in return.
"Huh?" The motorcycle helmet tilted, and Amuro Tooru was a bit bewildered.
"How many questions have you asked me?" Tsuneo asked, staring at Touko.
You work so many jobs; you shouldn't be short on money, right?
"One."
Amuro Tooru said calmly, his expression unchanged.
"No, you haven't stopped asking questions since we met." Tsuneo shook his head, very displeased with his attempt to evade payment.
Amuro Tooru reached up and tapped the helmet on his head.
Why?
Why is this guy such a headache every time they meet!
"Just give me a flat price, how much do you want?"
"One hundred thousand?" Tsuneo tentatively quoted a price.
He wasn't very good at trading information and didn't know the market price.
"Okay." AmuroTooru nodded, agreeing very readily.
Tsuneo: ...
Did I say too little...?
