When Taro and Vincy arrived, they saw a green-colored portal.
"What could it be this time?" Taro wondered.
"No idea, but I guess it's time for some smashing," Vincy responded, activating his {Berserk Mode}.
Out of the portal seconds later, a muddy creature with red eyes appeared, leaving trails of mud behind each step.
"Blah... what is that?" Vincy asked, disgusted.
"Mud golem, it seems," Taro responded. "Be careful, Vincy, touching it will not be a–"
Before he could continue, Vincy dashed into the muddy golem, raising his fist for a smash. However, his entire hand stuck inside of it, unable to pull it back.
"Umm... I'M STUCK!" He yelled.
Taro kept pulling him until he managed to return his hand.
"Sheesh, that was close," Vincy replied, relieved.
"This thing is as dangerous as quicksand," Taro said. "We can't rush without a solid plan. We better think of one."
Suddenly, the golem began shooting muddy splats out of its mouth onto them. Immediately, Taro used his {Alternative Shield}.
"Uhhh, I think we made it angry," Vincy commented.
"This isn't looking good," Taro replied. "We cannot hurt that creature from a near distance. Even if we could, our fists will be stuck instead. In addition, we don't know its weaknesses."
"Aw man, what do we do?" Vincy asked.
Suddenly, Taro's shield began fading in and out.
"H-Hey, what is happening with the shield?" Vincy asked.
"We need to find a new cover," he answered. "I am running out of mana. I summoned too many shields today."
Instantly, the moment the shield disappeared, they ran into a parked vehicle and took cover.
"The fact that this thing is still shooting is insane," Vincy said.
"Makes sense, its whole body is made of mud anyway," Taro replied.
"Aw man... did you bring any of your dates?" He asked.
"No, I forgot," he answered.
"Great, and what can we do now?" Vincy asked.
"We need to find its weaknesses," Taro responded. "Fighting without a plan will cause more trouble."
"Well, you better hurry up, because that thing is approaching!" Vincy replied.
The muddy golem kept shooting, getting closer with each step.
"IT'S COMING!" Vincy exclaimed.
"Vincy, I figured it out!" Taro said suddenly.
"Heh? What is it?" Vincy asked, surprised.
"The weakness," Taro answered. "Water can help us defeat that creature."
"Great, but... there is no water anywhere," Vincy replied, searching around.
Vincy kept staring until he found a red fire hydrant placed on the sidewalk.
"Wait, this will work!" Vincy exclaimed, pointing at the hydrant.
"Sweet, I will distract the creature, and you use your {Berserk Mode} and smash it," Taro suggested.
"Count on me!" He replied, pumping his fists to activate his power.
Immediately, Taro went out while unleashing his {Azure Shield} for a few seconds, making the creature follow him. Meanwhile, Vincy dashed into the hydrant.
"I hope that works," he muttered, then smashed the hydrant.
After crashing it, water splashed out massively into the mud golem. Instantly, the creature began melting until it completely vanished.
"Oh yeah! We did it!" Vincy exclaimed, pumping fists with Taro.
"Yeah, now let us go check on the porta–" Taro began.
Before he could continue his sentence, muddy splats were shot toward them, pinning them on the wall.
"What is that?! Didn't we defeat it?!" Vincy asked, shocked.
In front of them, there was a massive number of mud golems approaching.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Vincy yelled.
"That is a huge number, what type of realms is that?!" Taro asked, struggling.
"We hardly defeated one, and now it has an army?!" Vincy replied, struggling as well. "How is that possible, dude?!"
"This isn't the only problem, we are completely stuck," he responded. "Besides, there is no water nearby, and we can't lead them to the nearest beach with that number."
After a few seconds, one of the golems opened its big mouth, trying to eat them alive.
"IT WILL EAT US!" Vincy shouted.
However, a voice suddenly exclaimed nearby:
"{Sakura Rope}!"
Instantly, some of the golems were bound with the ropes.
Yukiko joined them, cutting the muddy splats.
"Whoa! Weapons can cut it easily!" Vincy exclaimed, surprised.
"Thanks, Yukiko, we owe you one," Taro replied.
"You know what... screw being Vision-Man and Captain Hammer," Vincy added. "Let us wear our original outfits!"
"Right, I missed using my Azure Blade," Taro agreed.
Instantly, Yukiko activated her {Equip Spell} again on them, equipping their original outfits and Taro's sword.
"This will help you," Yukiko offered, giving Taro some dates.
"Great, now I can restore my mana and unleash my shields again," Taro said, eating.
"Yeah, but... I still can't use my fist," Vincy replied.
"Maybe you can throw objects or find some water to melt them," Taro suggested.
"Oh, good idea!" Vincy agreed.
Vincy went to find something useful nearby, while Taro and Yukiko remained to clear the area from the golems. The bound golems reshaped to break free from the rope Yukiko used, then the ropes vanished.
Without hesitation, both of them dashed forward. Taro began unleashing {Azure Slashes} toward them. Yukiko, meanwhile, equipped the dual katanas and began slashing while spinning.
Some golems tried shooting their mud splats toward them, yet both managed to cut it midway before hitting them, along with Taro's {Alternative Shields} blocking.
After slashing them all, some golems managed to reshape again and keep shooting toward them. Taro stood in front of Yukiko and used his shield.
"They don't stop rising," Yukiko muttered.
"Only water is effective against them..." Taro replied.
"Speaking of water, has anyone been thirsty lately?" A voice suddenly asked.
It was Vincy, coming with three large-sized water bottles.
"I did not find anything useful, so I bought water bottles instead and pierced the cover in the middle with my sharp key," he explained.
"Excellent thinking, Vincy," Taro complimented, "this will spread out water effectively."
"Hehe, these types of trolls in school came in handy," Vincy replied.
After Taro and Yukiko grabbed a bottle each, all of them began pressing on the bottles to shoot water. One by one, all remaining golems began melting. In the end, all of them vanished.
"Sheesh! We finally did it!" Vincy exclaimed.
Suddenly, a small earthquake approached, as a giant mud golem appeared.
"Should not have spoken too soon..." he whispered. "Any of you guys have enough water left? Mine is empty."
"Ours too," Taro answered, throwing empty bottles into the trash can.
"How are we supposed to defeat it?" Yukiko asked, horrified.
"Meh... no idea, even a tsunami wouldn't probably be enough," Vincy responded, shrugging.
Suddenly, the giant mud golem began shooting huge splats toward them.
"{Alternative Shield}!" Taro exclaimed repeatedly, unleashing several layers of shields.
The splats managed to get through the shields one by one every few seconds.
"I don't think your shields will keep that forever..." Vincy replied.
"Run!" Taro exclaimed.
The moment all the shields disappeared, they evaded the incoming mud.
"This is horrible! Nothing can stop that thing!" Vincy admitted.
"We must find a solution," Taro replied firmly. "We can't let it roam the town like this!"
Once again, the giant tried shooting again.
"It is happening again!" Vincy warned. "We are screwed!"
Suddenly, a powerful {Light Beam} pierced the giant creature's stomach, making it melt down.
Ema joined them, panting.
"Ema-chan!" Yukiko called.
"I wonder what would happen if I was not here," Ema said.
"Sheesh, just one beam could defeat it," Vincy replied.
"It was not that easy," she disagreed. "Preparing that beam was harder than you think."
"You saved the day, Ema," Taro said.
"Thanks, now let us return back," she replied.
After two days...
In the morning, Taro, Yukiko, and Ema were waiting in the bus station, wearing their school uniforms.
"Where is Vincy?" Ema asked.
"He will follow us by now," Taro answered.
"Sigh. Always late on everything," Ema replied. "Not our fault if he doesn't catch the bus."
A few minutes later, they saw him coming while running.
"GUYS! YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAW ON THE TV!" He shouted.
"Oi oi! Lower your voice... people are still sleeping," Yukiko replied.
"What is it?" Taro asked.
"There is a third season of Vision-Man and Captain Hammer! And they announced its release!" He responded, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
Yukiko and Ema stared in embarrassment.
"Again with that kids' show?" Ema asked, mocking.
"HEY! DO NOT DISRESPECT MY FAVORITE CARTOON SHOW!" Vincy yelled.
"So...?" Taro asked.
"Like they always say... IT'S WATCHING TIME!" He exclaimed.
Then, the trio corrected in unison, unimpressed:
"IT'S HERO TIME!"
