Chapter 6 - The Chrono Abyss

The Sutra bleeds.

Its verses unravel like threads of fate.

Adam, Sora, and Riku stand at the edge of the Chrono Abyss—a chasm where time fractures, loops, and devours itself.

They must descend.

But the Abyss demands a toll.

The Toll

A voice echoes from the void:

"To enter, you must destroy the moment you were born."

Sora hesitates.

Riku laughs.

Adam opens the Sutra.

He writes:

"Birth is not a moment. It is a choice."

The Abyss accepts.

And opens.

The Descent

Each step down warps reality:

Sora sees his childhood reversed—his victories undone. Riku watches his future collapse—his godhood revoked. Adam sees every rewrite he's ever made—each one screaming.

Time loops.

Memories clash.

The Sutra begins to forget its own verses.

The Paradox Engine

At the heart of the Abyss lies the Paradox Engine—a machine built from broken clocks and dying stars.

It pulses with unstable time.

To stabilize it, each must confront their Temporal Echo:

Sora faces a version of himself who never fought. Riku faces a version of himself who ruled without mercy. Adam faces a version of himself who never rewrote anything.

They battle.

They bleed.

They choose.

The Choice

Sora destroys his echo.

"I am not peace. I am purpose."

Riku absorbs his.

"I am not mercy. I am momentum."

Adam rewrites his.

"I am not silence. I am story."

The Paradox Engine stabilizes.

Time bends.

The Sutra glows.

A new verse appears:

"The moment they were born was never real. The moment they chose was eternal."

The Reaper's Countermove

In the Hollow Vale, the Reaper snarls.

It sends a Chrono Wraith—a creature made of stolen time—to hunt the trio.

It whispers:

"You cannot rewrite what I erase."

But the Sutra pulses.

And the trio prepares.
