In countless different worlds. Each world is created with billions of stars, billions of solar systems and billions of galaxies along with nebulae. With the timeline being an infinite version of continuity, being the branching paths of space-time continuums. And each world will expand without end, reaching a certain level and then continuously producing infinite independent worlds. Each world has one thing in common: it divides into many things to combine into a single world. And all have their opposite side, like light must have darkness, that is the anti-world, where it is emptier than nothingness. Where all concepts, including the concept of nothingness, do not exist. It is the opposition between the fundamental essence and minimal existence. It is a place without plot, without future, without past, without present, information will never exist here. In one world among the infinite worlds, there are two people sitting on a golden rice plain, the rice grains swaying in the gentle wind, the sunset descending adding a soothing touch. One of them is a boy, wearing a green hooded jacket and inside a white shirt, with straight black pants, his name is Jasmine and the person sitting next to him is a girl named Mary wearing a doctor's outfit, with a white outer coat, inside a brown cotton-like shirt, and wearing glasses, Jasmine has pure black hair, his hair is quite voluminous but hard to notice due to the jacket, with bangs let down, his eyes are black tending towards red, while Mary has hair half white on top and half blue below, her hair is not long, only about 20cm past the neck, her eyes are white-blue like her hair. Both are the strongest wizards in their respective worlds, they overwhelmingly dominate the others in their worlds, one strong in magic and one strong in close-range, Jasmine looks up at the distant sky, the sky has turned a gentle yellow, clouds drifting and sticking together, forming what seems like a four-pointed star, he looks pensively and speaks:
"Mary this"
Mary replies:

A small silence, perhaps a topic without an answer is hard to continue, Jasmine falls silent, he no longer looks at the rice stalks, he shifts his eyes to Mary without her knowing, he just looks at her, gently watching her eyelashes quietly blink when a sudden gust of wind comes. Suddenly a white sphere in between them and it explodes making them pushed back, a person comes out with white hair, he has a left eye white, inside blue, while the right one has been slashed in the middle making him have to close it, he has a beard but not quite a beard because it's not long yet, wearing a long black coat with green patterns running throughout the coat, wide and with white fur on the coat, inside is a black fabric shirt, form-fitting and wearing dark pants, possibly black or dark gray. Has a belt and he holds a pistol that seems like an M1911 but it's a bit long. Jasmine sees that man and immediately raises his guard, he takes the sword from the dimensional bag - an ability that mages like them must have, although they are called mages but they have the ability to adapt and develop all aspects of skills higher than everyone due to talent. It lands on tails, he shoots at Jasmine, Jasmine quickly uses magic to create a concept shield but it's easily pierced making Jasmine shocked, hit in the stomach making him in pain, although trying to recover but can't because he did something to the bullet making Jasmine unable to self-regenerate, he had mastered high-level healing magic, as long as there's enough energy even with only half a head he can recover, but this time no, seeing that Mary takes a staff made of light and countless spears, swords, arrows, axes made from primordial light taken from space attacking the stranger but he doesn't even look and all disappear before reaching him when twelve meters apart making Mary stunned, suddenly he is in front of Mary from who knows when and kicks her in the stomach making her pushed back, next he summons a white sphere like just now, but this time it's bigger and even has some lightning bolts from condensed energy emitting, he throws it at the two of them with speed almost ignoring time, even their energy no matter how layered this to that stacked a hundred times can't make it disappear, it hits creating a huge explosion with energy intensity equivalent to a million suns exploding at once but the energy doesn't disperse but attacks directly into them making them bounce back and lie nearly collapsed on the ground, creating a hundred-meter crater. The stranger replies:
"Me? I am Lastnine, a nullifier of all abilities"

Jasmine uses more energy to finally remove its negation ability and creates countless red-black energy beams shooting at Lastnine creating a very big explosion making Lastnine have to fly up, Jasmine looks up and continuously shoots more red-black energy beams at Lastnine but Lastnine smiles and lets himself free fall, he both dodges and slashes all attacks completely with a red knife, Lastnine unleashes many white spheres clashing with Jasmine's beams making them explode in mid-air creating a big explosion and shockwave, when everything settles then 3 waves of Lastnine's white beams charge with unimaginable speed making Jasmine unable to block in time and an explosion makes Jasmine retreat and Lastnine is behind Jasmine from who knows when that he doesn't notice, but Jasmine still reacts and turns to unleash many red chains but Lastnine dodges and destroys them while his right hand lights up and a white beam shoots straight at Jasmine but he dodges, the more fighting and the more dangerous the more all of Jasmine's abilities increase, in other words power progression that never ends making Lastnine surprised for the first time and Jasmine unleashes consecutive slashes piercing through his world, the more fighting the faster the attacks double until slashing a small scratch on Lastnine's cheek forcing Lastnine to retreat. When he touches the wound and says nothing, Lastnine teleports behind and creates a small sphere attacking Jasmine's body, pressing him down and Lastnine kicks him elsewhere and Jasmine stands up, looks straight at Lastnine's face and that shocks him, because a wave of energy emits and Lastnine's face looks extremely angry, before reacting three white beams have shot through him and paralyze him even though his progression ability will automatically make him immune to all kinds of influences affecting him, but the more progression the more paralyzed he becomes, even though his durability progresses but is easily pierced as if that beam type will surpass all opponent's durability and Lastnine grabs his face and slams it to the ground, shoots three more energy beams, Lastnine unleashes a punch to Jasmine's chin making him fly up, Lastnine teleports from behind and kicks his back making him crash to the ground again making Jasmine vomit blood, in speed and all combat aspects Lastnine is always superior to Jasmine by dozens of times, possibly infinite times, making the gap between the two immeasurable, Lastnine kicks Jasmine and unleashes threads piercing through Jasmine's body, a punch to the stomach and without letting Jasmine react a white energy beam shoots into Jasmine making him severely injured, finally Lastnine kicks him. When Lastnine approaches and picks Jasmine up, chokes him and shoots one more making him scream, a blinding light flash making all worlds restart, everything including the timeline and Jasmine still sees himself lying in the space he created, the wounds still there, before he can compose himself he is grabbed by the head by Lastnine and slammed to the ground that has been infinitely hardened really hard making Jasmine scream in pain as his skull starts to crack and Lastnine uses threads made of his own energy but without the properties that the energy around him emits but only binds and mysterious features he hasn't used, Lastnine steps towards Jasmine and says:
"You and that little one or whatever I don't know, I don't care. Alright answer, do you two work for anyone?"
Jasmine weakly says:
"N-No."
Jasmine thinks while blood from the shot places and head is flowing.
"How can he be so strong, strong to the point of absurdity"
Lastnine smiles and says:
"Hmm.. excellent, because you two probably understand the workings of the infinite worlds here so I need a guide, I will invite you two as my subordinates, refuse and what happens you know yourself... UNDERSTAND?"
Jasmine looks with angry eyes but also reluctantly agrees because that's the only way for him and Mary to survive against this guy more terrifying than a monster. Lastnine smiles and says:
"Good, now you and that one will obey my orders and what I say, and you can call me Lastnine."
Jasmine says:
"I know."
After that Lastnine teleports Jasmine out of the space dimension he created and back to that plain space, Jasmine meets Mary again and Mary upon seeing Lastnine immediately unleashes many swords, spears, axes and all existing weapons made of light charging at Lastnine but all are erased or nullified, before Mary continues attacking Jasmine stops her and says:
"Stop it Mary."
Mary stops and says:
"Are you planning to protect this monster?"
Lastnine hums and says.
"I have a proper name, not this monster that monster"
Mary annoyed replies.
"Who cares?"
Lastnine sighs and doesn't want to argue much. Jasmine pulls Mary aside and explains everything, although knowing the situation but Mary is still angry because Lastnine kicked her making Jasmine sigh helplessly at this situation. Suddenly Jasmine remembers something and asks Lastnine:
"Hey old man do you know what meaning is?"
Lastnine hears the question and starts answering.
"Meaning is not just words, is will or ordinary things, meaning is what creates everything from the power I have, to things farther and it is an infinite power source that can't run out and it is the foundation to construct everything. Those who can't understand the true meaning of themselves are also meaningless in existing. If there's no meaning everything is meaningless like us all have our own meaning to live, everyone has a meaning for the infinite worlds here or the 'higher realms'."
Jasmine and Mary after hearing also understand somewhat, Jasmine then asks one more question:
"The higher realms you mentioned refer to what?"
Lastnine thinks for a long while and replies.
"Higher realms are things beyond your comprehension so don't ask too much."
Jasmine stands up and asks:
"I want to explore the higher realms, what do I have to do?"
Lastnine replies casually:
"Just need power or permission or transcendence then you can go up but warning it's not easy."
Jasmine smiles and says:
"Oh really, there's something for us to explore then."
Mary sees Jasmine's wounds and says:
"You're not healing?"
Jasmine smiles awkwardly and says:
"Ah forgot."
Jasmine then self-heals but can't, at that moment Lastnine remembers he hasn't removed the anti-healing ability and Mary says with a smile:
"So now we have something to explore huh."
Jasmine blushes a bit at Mary's words and smile and smiles back, he says:
"That's right."
Lastnine smiles at this couple and says:
"Alright then, if so."
Lastnine raises his gun and shoots:
"The adventure to find meaning is here and it will begin."
Saying that Lastnine along with Jasmine, Mary teleport away. But, there is a black thing watching them from afar, it slowly reveals itself and wears a brown coat and black-white pants with black-red hair along with a smiling mouth corner and holding a greatsword next to him is a young woman wearing a white shirt and holding a spear with blue hair having white eyes, the man says:
"Well well, quite interesting when those two brats can declare so arrogantly, but I like it."
The woman says.
"Calm down Jack, you know that Lastnine guy can easily erase both of us to nothingness, just calmly observe first then proceed to the next step, and don't worry I already have a plan to deal with that Lastnine."
The woman looks back and there's a guy smiling brightly and holding a pure black sword. That guy says.
"Lastnine, I will personally take your head."
That guy says then chuckles and all three teleport away.
