I don't really know what to do with Ishida because, although I hated his guts as a kid, he did eventually become a more decent person during high school, and I see it as pretty good character growth, although due to getting bullied and eventually realizing how it felt for Nishimiya.
Also, his mom is so nice, and at the time of writing about his conflict, I was wondering if I should write about his mom's reaction, but decided not to because damn, I just feel so bad for her tbh. So now I'm just unsure on which path I should write Ishida to take. Therefore, I'll leave it up to you guys.

Vote by writing down the number of the Ishida Path you want in the comments. Should I ever be undecided on another character's growth path, I'll just make chapters like this. This will stay for a good 3-4 days so until then, I won't make my decision.
...
1. Let it develop like in the original; Ishida gets bullied by his friends, Haruya and the others no longer have anything to do with them, and he might or might not show up again after 6th grade.
.
2. Let it develop like in the original; Ishida gets bullied by his friends, Haruya decides to protect him as well, he realizes his mistakes early on, I give him early character growth to the same level as he was in high school, and he joins the Haruya gang. Or at least, mostly will just hang around them during 6th grade and maybe middle school.
.
3. Let him learn his lesson after what Haruya did to him, Keisuke and Kazuki continue to become friends with him, and they tone down the mischievous trio thing. Might not have anything to do with Haruya anymore, or at least nothing major in the future.
.
4. Continue his conflict with Haruya by targeting Shouko one last time. I was initially gonna write it until the "hearing aids throwing" part of the original until Haruya gets involved against them for Shouko, but I knew that the way I wrote Haruya's character, he won't let Shouko's first type of bullying slide like that. But if this is chosen, I'll write this plot, which will demonize Naoka Ueno's character to the point of the original movie, Ishida is definitely gone from school after this, and all hell breaks loose. No mercy path for Ishida, basically.
Also becomes the point of Ueno's "villainy," if you will.
.
5. Basically similar to number 2, but Ishida doesn't join their gang. Just kinda becomes a loner, or a regular friend in the classroom, I guess.
.

Those are the only choices. I know how this site works since I've been here for years, and a lot of people just hate it when "villains" if that's how people would refer to Ishida as, gets their own character growth and eventually becomes one of the good guys. But I'll leave this one up to the readers. Thanks for reading. Next chapter will be released in 4 hours, please gimme your daily power stones then. Hehe, thanks.
