If the power stone represented ultimate power, then the Reality Stone was the ultimate fantasy.
Whoever held the Reality Stone could achieve anything in this world according to their will.
They could defy physical rules, create new life, and even use the Reality Stone to create one small universe after another!
Perhaps that sounds a bit too exaggerated.
But Kevin, holding the Reality Stone, didn't find it exaggerated at all.
As he was using the Reality Stone, he only had one feeling.
That he was a god.
A god of the Marvel World!
Creating a monster as large as a planet, Kevin easily accomplished it.
Granting this monster the ability to traverse wormholes and directly reach Xandar, Kevin also accomplished it.
Having this monster swallow Thanos's and Ronan's fleets in one gulp was even unexpectedly easy.
The power of a single Infinity Stone was this immense.
Six Infinity Stones gathered on one gauntlet would, on the contrary, weaken the power of a single Infinity Stone due to mutual restraint and cancellation of forces, even if they became omnipotent when combined.
"But this can't defeat Thanos…"
Kevin could feel that a part of the fleet, swallowed by his whale, was still resisting stubbornly.
That was precisely the fleet where Thanos was located.
The Black Order and Thanos were both there.
Ronan, on the other hand, died very unceremoniously here; the moment he was swallowed by the whale Kevin created, he and his warship were turned to ash by the Reality Stone.
However, this guy was originally a one-time villain in Guardians of the Galaxy, so his death now was not surprising.
Glancing at Xandar below, Kevin had no intention of going down to reminisce with Star-Lord and the others.
Feeling Thanos still inside the whale, and the faintly revealed purple energy clashing with the power of the Reality Stone, Kevin immediately said to Star-Lord on the planet below:
"Peter, Thanos has the power stone. I can't eliminate him immediately, but I can take him away. During this time, Xandar is in your hands."
"Wait, you mean you're going to face Thanos alone?!"
"I can only face him alone, right? Or do you guys have the ability to get involved in our fight?"
Kevin asked Star-Lord with a smile.
Star-Lord and the others did not answer, as the answer was obvious: they could not.
Kevin and Thanos were both Infinity Stone wielders at this moment. The battle between Infinity Stone wielders was no different from that of gods. How could a group of 'ordinary people' like Star-Lord participate?
Kevin didn't wait for Star-Lord's response. Feeling the increasingly violent power within the whale, Kevin immediately controlled the whale to perform a wormhole jump and said:
"See you again if there's a chance, Peter. I hope our next meeting isn't in prison."
As he spoke, the whale was about to complete its wormhole jump.
But at that very moment, purple energy erupted within the whale. The whale life Kevin had created let out an ear-piercing shriek that only Kevin could hear.
Then the whale's body exploded completely, purple smoke and red ash swept through the universe, nearly engulfing Xandar below.
"Tsk, I finally created a life form that could traverse wormholes."
His idea of changing the battlefield failed, and Kevin couldn't help but click his tongue.
He gently waved his hand, and red light covered the purple smoke. In an instant, all the smoke vanished without a trace, revealing Kevin and Thanos's group within it.
Kevin's seemingly complaining remark was actually made while his eyes were fixed on Thanos and the power stone in his hand.
Thanos's warship was mostly destroyed, with only a portion remaining for Thanos and the Black Order to stand on.
A defensive barrier formed by the power stone hovered above Thanos's head, providing them with the last breathable and traversable space.
Indeed, it was impossible to directly kill Thanos with the Reality Stone.
After all, Thanos had the power stone in his hand, and the energies of the Infinity Stones would conflict with each other, thus canceling out each other's power to some extent.
Moreover, the Reality Stone was not truly omnipotent.
It could not traverse space, reverse time, affect people's minds, or create and control souls.
These functions were separate from the Reality Stone; otherwise, Kevin wouldn't have had to create a space-jumping whale to travel for him.
Incidentally, the space wormholes the whale jumped through were pre-existing in the Marvel World, not created by Kevin.
Kevin merely used the large whale as an ordinary spaceship.
"Who are you?"
Finally face-to-face with Kevin, Thanos asked a very classic question.
He didn't know who Kevin was; in his memory, there seemed to be no one named Kevin in the entire universe.
Kevin, holding the Reality Stone, floated in space dressed as an explorer. He looked at Thanos, then down at himself. The Reality Stone on his ring glowed faintly, and his explorer's attire instantly transformed into a suit of golden, shimmering armor.
The same style as Aquaman.
"You can call me… Aquaman."
A golden trident appeared in Kevin's hand. Under the effect of the Reality Stone, he truly cosplayed Aquaman from the DC Universe for once.
Although he actually looked more like a Lantern at the moment.
But whether it was a Lantern or Aquaman, Thanos had never heard of either.
His gaze locked onto the ring on Kevin's right hand, and he said:
"Alright, no matter if you're Aquaman or whatever, child, what you have in your hand doesn't belong to you. Give it to me."
"That's what I want to say, old man. The power stone is very dangerous, and it's even more dangerous for someone as dangerous as you to use it. Why not hand it over to me?"
"Oh, you want this too?"
Thanos raised the Infinity Gauntlet in his hand, the single purple power stone on it particularly striking.
He aimed the gauntlet at Kevin and gently clenched his fist.
Purple energy erupted with a roar, a massive beam of light piercing through the cosmos, rushing straight towards Kevin!
"!?"
Damn! He just attacked without warning? How is this Thanos different from the Thanos I know?!
Kevin didn't expect Thanos to attack so suddenly, and without even having his Black Order subordinates make a move; he acted directly himself.
With the enhancement of the Infinity Gauntlet, the power stone's energy was magnified and strengthened. Lightning flickered around the purple light beam, shattering the void as it headed straight for its target.
If he were hit by this attack, the best outcome would probably be being shattered into dust by the energy.
Kevin dared not underestimate Thanos's attack. The Reality Stone was already prepared, creating a transparent, invisible barrier in front of Kevin, completely blocking Thanos's attack.
Purple energy flashed and dispersed in front of Kevin. Kevin clenched his right fist, the Reality Stone glowed, and in an instant, countless versions of himself appeared around Kevin.
Countless Kevins, holding tridents, launched a human wave attack against Thanos in the cosmic cosmos.
Seeing this, Thanos glanced at Ebony Maw and the others beside him, ordering them:
"Go destroy Xandar."
Then Thanos stomped his foot, traversing the cosmic cosmos with his physical strength, raising his left fist, which held the Reality Stone.
The power stone's energy erupted again, and a crystalline purple light instantly enveloped everything.
Most of the 'Kevins' were swallowed by the purple light, with only a small portion remaining outside. They used the Reality Stone to create one hard shield after another, closing them in the air to enclose Thanos.
The remaining few Kevins tried to stop the Black Order, who were driving the warship wreckage towards Xandar, wanting to block all of them outside Xandar.
But Thanos's voice followed closely:
"Child, casually abandoning your enemies is a very bad habit."
"!?"
The Kevins chasing the Black Order simultaneously widened their eyes.
They immediately turned to look, but as soon as they turned around, a gigantic hand grabbed all of them.
It was a giant-sized Thanos!
"Giant-sized… The power stone has that ability?"
Kevin's eyes widened. He carefully recalled all the movie and anime plots related to the power stone, and it seemed this scene had never appeared.
But thinking about it more carefully, it didn't seem like an incomprehensible thing.
The power stone could grant its wielder ultimate offensive and defensive power. It could replicate all energy and abilities in this world; as long as it was related to power, any ability appearing on the power stone was not surprising.
So, it made sense that Thanos was now using the power stone to make himself as huge as a Celestial.
However, just because the power stone could do it didn't mean the Reality Stone couldn't.
Kevin looked at the giant-sized Thanos, the Reality Stone in his hand glowing, and his own body grew taller at the same moment.
Under the red power of Reality alteration, a giant body no less than Thanos's appeared in the cosmic cosmos in the blink of an eye.
The two giants, looking like they had transformed into Celestials, stared at each other. The next second, they clashed in close combat!
"WTF?! Is that Kevin?! Don't tell me that's Kevin?! What did he eat to get that big?!"
A 'War of the Gods' was happening above, and Star-Lord and the others, who had been watching all this, couldn't sit still.
Seeing the two massive giants fighting each other, Star-Lord's mouth couldn't even close.
He found it very hard to believe that what was happening outside the planet was real.
Gamora, however, remembered something. She looked at the Infinity Stones in the two giants' hands and explained:
"It's an Infinity Stone! Kevin got another Infinity Stone from somewhere!"
After speaking, Gamora suddenly turned and ran towards the Milan nearby, saying to Star-Lord:
"Peter! We have to help Kevin!"
"Help? Do you think we can participate in their situation?!"
Star-Lord asked Gamora back with a 'you've got to be kidding me' expression.
The battle above had already escalated into a War of the Gods. How could mere mortals like them get involved?
Gamora hurriedly explained:
"To defeat Thanos, we must take the power stone from him. I'm sure Kevin is thinking the same thing, and when that happens, he'll need a device to store the power stone!"
"…I understand."
When Gamora said that, Star-Lord instantly understood her meaning.
The battle between the two above seemed fierce, but after they transformed into this appearance, they stopped using other methods and engaged in pure close-quarters combat.
This meant that their current abilities, having become so large, were already at their limit, and they could no longer use additional Infinity Stone power.
Close-quarters combat meant that both of them could potentially snatch each other's Infinity Stones.
What Star-Lord and the others needed to do now was to ensure Kevin's Infinity Stone wasn't taken and to find a way for Kevin to take Thanos's Infinity Stone.
And if Kevin could indeed achieve this, he would then need a container to store the power stone.
Coincidentally, they had this container, and many of them!
