"Uh, are you sure about this?" Amber squealed, her face flushing red, the magnitude of the situation dawning on her.
"If you don't want to do this now, we can always come back another time," Aurelian breathed, flashing a warm smile at her.
"No, no, I want to do it—argh, I mean... I..." Amber breathed raggedly, before finally covering her face with her fingers, unable to take it anymore.
"Your little friend is cute," Amelia whispered, a hint of jealousy streaking through her eyes as she watched the warmth Aurelian displayed while speaking to Amber, which genuinely left her puzzled.
A quick scan revealed her level—6, F-rank. Mediocre, really, which meant she had most probably awakened a low-ranked talent.
"How about you give her to me?" Amelia smirked, licking her lips.
"Huh?" Amber gasped in shock, huddling behind his back before leaning forward to whisper into his ear, "I don't think she's a good person... I don't like her... I don't want to leave your side."
