Raven finally woke up, but he paused when he sensed that something had changed. He didn't know how, except he felt lighter and his body felt comfortable as if it was floating on a cloud.
'I wish I had a mirror to see my face.'
He ran a hand along his cheek and was stunned by how smooth and refined his skin felt. He desperately wanted to see his new appearance.
'All that's left is the Divine Orb.'
"Mhh…"
'It's supposed to give the player the Holy punishment skill if they have the holiness attribute, but I have the Divinity attribute, which is quite similar except far stronger. Hopefully, I'll get the skill anyway.'
Without hesitation, he activated the Divine Orb. It cracked into a thousand glistening fragments, and the light it had contained poured into Raven's body. A warm, soothing energy filled him. While he didn't experience any immediate physical changes, something about his very essence had shifted.
Raven didn't yet realise it, but his aura had completely transformed. He now emitted a majestic, almost divine presence; one that unconsciously radiated superiority, as if he were gazing down upon all other beings.
Be that as it may, that wasn't the end of it.

Raven was stunned by the flood of system messages on his panel. Things hadn't gone exactly as he expected, but the outcome was even better. Though he didn't receive the skill now, he would eventually unlock Divine Judgment, an ability meant only for gods.
"This Divinity attribute might actually be broken."
Even without the skill, the strengthened attribute was more than worth it. The newly added intimidation effect alone gave him a clear advantage over others..
'I still haven't checked out my level 20 rewards.'
'First, there was something about a scroll of some sort.'

Seeing as it was very late in the night, Raven was ready to go to sleep. As he lay down on the floor, something clicked in his mind.
'I haven't allocated my attribute points yet. I probably should do that quickly. Better safe than sorry.'

Raven noticed a pattern. All his attributes seemed to cap at 50 points.
"I wonder… if I max one out to 50, will it evolve or transform into something higher?"
That question lingered in his mind as his consciousness faded.
And with that, Raven drifted into a deep, dreamless sleep—stronger than ever, but still unaware of the world that awaited him when he woke.
