Chapter 73 - Loop???

The scene reopens in Voyage City, Texas Nevada: everything is calm and ordinary at exactly 6:30 in the morning. The world feels peaceful, untouched by chaos.

Inside a quiet room, Johnson is gently awakened by a soft kiss on his lips. He slowly blinks his eyes open and sees Angela leaning over him, kissing him slowly and tenderly.

"What is going on?" Johnson asks, still disoriented as Angela kisses him again.

"You were sleeping, so I decided to wake you up. Did you not like it?" Angela replies playfully, curling a strand of her hair around her finger as she looks at him with affection.

"I was just running. I..." Johnson suddenly clutches his head in pain and falls forward against Angela.

"Oh: being zesty this morning, are you, Johnny? You seem to be in pain. Let me ease that," Angela says softly as she kisses his cheek as Time stopped and The Time Bond hummed as it glowed freezing every single thing including Johnson in time. .

Immediately Jake's mechanical voice hummed: " User's 25th Consciousness rewind successful all events leading to User's Last death shall be adapted....

Cost of Using consciousness Rewind : User forgets everything And all events that lead to death Of User previously. Gains : User gains muscle memory from previous round. Continuing Timeline."

And as if by magic the World which was frozen before started again

"Ouch," Johnson hisses as he pulls away slightly. "How... what happened? Why are you here? I thought I was running..."

"Running? What do you mean you were running? You have been sleeping here since last night," Angela says, now visibly worried. "Johnson: is everything alright? You seem tense."

"I am not fine. I feel like something bad is going to happen. Wait... you said I slept here yesterday. What exactly did I do?" Johnson asks urgently.

"You both were getting close and kissing last night," Rose says lazily from the bed, rubbing her eyes as she yawns.

"Kissing?" Johnson repeats, his face turning pink as he quickly looks away toward the window.

"You did not have to bring that up, Rose. You jerk," Angela mutters, turning away in embarrassment.

"Why are you both acting flustered? I do not have time for this. I am going to wash my face and hair. See you downstairs," Rose says as she floats away with a pillow.

"Hey: come back with my pillow!" Johnson shouts, running after her.

"No. I do not want to," Rose replies, yawning again as she shuts the door and releases a small amount of her energy into the handle, laughing mischievously as she floats downstairs increasing the temperature of the door handle

"You naughty little..." Johnson mutters as he grabs the door handle, only to recoil instantly.

"Ouch," he says, rubbing his palm.

"Does it hurt?" Angela asks gently from the bed. "Come and sit here."

"Oh no. I am fine. It will heal in no time," Johnson says with a nervous laugh.

"Come on," Angela insists softly.

Her voice becomes even gentler as she calls him closer with warmth and quiet insistence. Johnson hesitates before walking over and sitting beside her. Angela gently pulls him onto her lap and carefully takes his hand, studying the burn on his palm.

"Does it hurt? It really looks like it does," she says, her voice filled with concern.

"It is nothing serious," Johnson replies. "I can regenerate from even the smallest particle. A burn like this is not really that painful."

"Not painful?" Angela repeats softly. "Just like the pain your brain is telling you to feel, but you choose to ignore it?"

"I..." Johnson pauses in surprise. "How did you know?"

Angela smiles faintly as she explains.

"I can heal wounds if I have enough energy. After my training a few days ago, I can now regenerate broken bones for myself and others. I can also listen to nature: the soil, the air, the trees, even biological systems. Right now, I can hear your brain sending pain signals throughout your body. You are enduring them instead of reacting to them. That is why your memory feels unclear."

She pauses for a moment before asking gently,

"So: what happened last night?"

Before Johnson can answer, Angela places her lips on his, silencing him with a deep and lingering kiss. Her hands rest against his chest as a gentle golden glow radiates from her palms, spreading throughout his body and completely healing him. His mind clears, and fragments of memory from the previous night slowly begin returning.

Angela eventually pulls away, blushing deeply.

"What was that for... Angela?" Johnson asks, surprised and overwhelmed as his hair shifts into a bright pink shade.

"I am sorry," they both say at exactly the same time before immediately looking away from each other in embarrassment.

Several quiet minutes pass in complete silence.

"So..." they both say again simultaneously, still avoiding eye contact.

"You go first," Angela says softly.

"No. You go first," Johnson replies nervously.

"Alright..." Angela exhales deeply. "About last night: did you truly mean everything you said to me? About loving me for no reason and always loving me no matter what happens in the future?"

For a brief moment, neither of them speaks.

"Yes," Johnson finally answers. "I meant every word. I love you very much, more than anything, even more than myself."

His bright pink hair glows even more intensely as his ears become completely red.

"What about you? Do you still feel the same way about me?"

Angela suddenly laughs.

"What did I say wrong?" Johnson asks anxiously.

"No. Nothing is wrong," she replies with a warm smile as the morning sunlight reflects across her face. "I am simply happy. Happy that I chose you. And yes: I love you very much, Johnson."

"Me too," Johnson says softly as they slowly lean toward each other.

"Come on. It is morning. At least do that somewhere else," Rose interrupts with a sigh while drying her hair, still dressed in her pajamas.

"Why are you ruining the mood this morning? And where is my pillow?" Johnson complains.

"Aunt Mary is calling us for breakfast. She said you both should come quickly," Rose replies.(She's still using it)

"Fine," Johnson says as he stands, thinking quietly to himself.

Nothing bad is going to happen.

And if it does... I will protect everyone.

A few minutes later, everyone is seated around the dining table.

"Good morning, Auntie," Johnson says with a yawn as he sits down in his pajamas.

"Good morning, Miss Mary," Angela says politely as she takes her seat.

"Good morning, my dears," Mary replies warmly before turning toward Rose.

"I thought I told you to leave them alone."

"No. Why should Angela have him all to herself when I am here?" Rose pouts, folding her arms as she floats above the floor.

"Oh come on. You and Angela should try to get along. You should all be friends," Mary says.

"I will think about it," Rose replies reluctantly.

"I am starving," Johnson says as he reaches for his breakfast.

The plate suddenly disappears into a shadow portal.

"Hey!" Johnson exclaims, immediately looking toward Rose.

"I did not do anything," Rose says innocently, raising both hands.

"Before we eat, we say grace. Open," Mary says calmly.

A shadow portal opens beside her. She retrieves Johnson's food from her own shadow space and gently places it back in front of him.

"Wait. How can you use Jerry's ability?" Rose asks in confusion.

"And it is still hot," Johnson adds, observing the meal carefully.

"I do not fully understand it myself, but it seems I can use a portion of any ability belonging to those under my care," Mary explains with a shrug.

"That is interesting. Have you told anyone about this?" Rose asks.

"No, I have not," Mary replies. "Is there a problem?"

"Imagine the government taking you to a laboratory and experimenting on you just to understand your power," Rose says jokingly.

Mary gasps in fear.

"That will not happen. And if it does, I will fight them," Mary says, trying to remain calm.

"You should not scare her like that, Rose," Angela says. "Maybe we should inform the Principal."

"Yes. I will do that. Rose: say grace," Mary replies.

Rose begins the prayer, and everyone bows their heads before starting the meal.

As they eat, Johnson gradually becomes quiet. His hair slowly shifts into a bright green shade, and his skin subtly changes color. He stares blankly into space, completely lost in thought.

"Johnny: you are very quiet. Is something wrong? And your hair is green," Mary says with concern.

Johnson does not respond.

"Johnson... Johnson... Johnson!"

Rose suddenly punches him across the room.

"Ouch," Johnson groans as he returns to the table.

"What was that for?"

"Is something bothering you? You seem different," Rose asks.(why u zoning out)

"I think something is wrong. I cannot explain it," Johnson replies thoughtfully as he reaches for the television remote.

The moment he touches it, a strange memory flashes through his mind.

He remembers holding the exact same remote before.

Even though this moment should be completely new.

Another vision suddenly appears.

Angela's lifeless body rests in his arms.

He is crying.

"What the hell..." Johnson mutters before slapping himself.

"Snap out of it, Johnny. It was only a dream."

Just then, the television switches on.

The morning news begins.

"What is with the news? Why are you suddenly interested in watching the news?" Mary asks without looking up from her plate.

"Just leave him, Mum. He is always like this, and his hunches are usually right," Rose says before speaking to Johnson through telepathy.

You alright, bro? Gosh... the emotions I am feeling from you are so dark...

Oh yeah. I think I am just worried, I guess. Maybe I am simply being paranoid, Johnson replies through telepathy.

"Well... here goes nothing," Johnson says quietly as he presses the remote.

The news broadcast immediately begins.

BREAKING NEWS: VOYAGE CITY LIVE EMERGENCY BROADCAST

The normal news introduction is abruptly interrupted.

The screen flashes bright red as EMERGENCY ALERT graphics fill the display.

The news anchor appears visibly shaken.

"Good morning to all residents of Voyage City and the surrounding regions. We interrupt our regular programming to bring you an urgent live report regarding an ongoing crisis currently developing in central Voyage City."

"What the hell is happening with our city? Is it cursed or something?" Mary complains as she wipes her hands with a napkin before gently dabbing her face with a tissue.

The news broadcast continues.
