Jerry nodded. "Yh, I'm in," he agreed calmly.
Alastor rose, his movements deliberate. "So I'll help your girlfriend and possess your body in exchange, right?"
Jerry gave a firm nod. "Yeah."
Alastor's gaze hardened. "Well, to give your girlfriend money, I need to leave this place—and that requires your help," he said, pointing with a clawed hand. "But I can restore her womb and give her a child… though the child will not be from God, nor from you. Only one option remains: I'll have to reincarnate someone who has died."
Raymond's brow furrowed. "What do you mean? Her baby isn't from God and it's going to be someone who has died?"
Alastor didn't flinch. "It is exactly as I said." He drew his claws across his own flesh and then Raymond's, letting the blood drip to the floor. A spell glowed and shimmered, illuminating the cave in an eerie light. "The soul is an innocent one that has passed away."
Raymond swallowed hard. "Who's the person?"
"The person was meant to be erased, but he was born by mistake. He died in a miscarriage and was sent to Hell. Don't worry… he was a good person."
Raymond's eyes widened. "He?" Immediately, a gust of wind tore through the cave, sparks of energy igniting in the air. "I never knew it was a boy… what is going on?"
Alastor's tone was sharp. "I'm starting the ritual, so shut your ass up—now!" He snapped his fingers, and rocks began to levitate around them.
Raymond could only stare, awe and terror mingling as he, too, floated.
"REZERON!!" Alastor bellowed. The cave trembled violently. "I don't understand…" His voice cracked with fear.
"What is happening?!" Raymond cried. The cave burst open as snow began to fall in the desert outside, grass sprouting amidst the frost. "What the hell are you summoning?"
"This… is not supposed to happen. Impossible!" Alastor's voice quavered as sweat poured down his face. The summoning seal cracked, revealing an entity. Lightning struck the broken seal, natural disasters erupting around them. A young man emerged, his hair translucent, his eyes a mesmerizing rainbow, radiating a celestial presence. His aura was simultaneously menacing and serene—dark yet impossibly bright.
Rose's breath caught. "Beauty…"
Tears filled her eyes. "It's… beautiful. It's so beautiful." She wept openly.
Jerry, shocked, went to comfort her with a gentle pat. "I'm surprised you're crying. Are you scared?"
Rose shook her head. "I don't know… I've never seen anyone like him. He's beautiful and menacing… hot and cold at the same time. It's like he's…"
Mary whispered, mesmerized, "It's like he's a combination of all things… holy and dark, yet calm…"
Johnson muttered, bluntly, "Chaotic. That's the only word for him."
Jerry smirked. "Yes. That's CHAOS in its purified state—human, yet non-human. Shall I take a break, or…?"
Rose blushed, sitting upright. "No. Continue."
Jerry pointed out, teasing, "Your face is red."
Rose quickly turned away. "Sorry."
Jerry flipped a coin and continued.
Alastor collapsed to his knees, every hair standing on end, terror and awe mixing in his expression. "What… are you?"
Raymond stared at the entity before him. "Are you… God?"
The figure looked around, then smiled. "Where am I? Wassup, Erythos."
Alastor's voice shook. "Who are you? I can't… I can't remember your name. Your presence overwhelms me…"
The entity stepped effortlessly out of the summoning circle. "You don't have to be formal. I know who you are. You once served under me, though you've forgotten. But that's fine."
Raymond whispered, astonished. "God and a demon… talking casually? How is that even possible?"
"Oh, forgive my rudeness," the entity said, stretching a hand toward Raymond.
Raymond looked up, entranced by the calm, beautiful aura. "What… are you?"
The figure grinned. "I'm Misocathos. Or… call me any human name you like." In an instant, Raymond's appearance shifted—his clothes finer, skin refreshed, body renewed.
"Thank you, God," Raymond said, tears streaming down his face.
The entity chuckled. "I'm not God, by the way. Just your regular guy. Erythos, stop making unnecessary deals. I'll need you in this world for something."
Alastor stammered. "I… I don't remember you, but… you feel familiar."
The entity phased toward him. "I am KÅOÜSPÛÈR, your—"
Alastor immediately collapsed flat, trembling. "Forgive my rudeness! Your name cannot be spoken! Spare my life! I was merely performing a summoning! Do not erase me, my lord!" His hair shimmered violet as he begged, drenched in sweat.
Raymond, horrified and confused, asked, "Um… please, what is happening? Aren't you helping me?"
Alastor shot him an annoyed glance. "You selfish bastard!" A blast from him reduced Raymond to dust.
The entity placed a hand on Alastor's shoulder. "Erythos, learn to control your emotions. I have told you before… you know how much I love humans."
"I… I'm sorry, my king," Alastor murmured, bowing.
Kauspeur knelt and breathed life back into the dust, restoring Raymond. "Sorry about the little squabble earlier, my friend."
Raymond touched his body, awed. "Are you… God?"
Kauspeur laughed. "Nah. Not a God, nor the Creator."
Raymond's voice trembled. "Then… what are you?"
"Call me Kauspeur," he replied. "So, tell me, human… why did you summon me?"
Raymond nodded. "I… I need your help."
Alastor interjected. "He needs a child… and help paying his debts."
Raymond agreed, "Yes. I'll sell my soul now."
Kauspeur's eyes widened. "Why? Don't you value your soul?"
Raymond's voice cracked. "I don't value myself. My life… it's already a failure. Please—do whatever is needed. Take my soul, my body… just help me."
Kauspeur glared at Alastor. "I'm guessing you planted that idea in his head. Erythos, what did I tell you about possessing humans and making deals with their souls?"
Erythos began to speak, hesitant. "I didn't… I only told—"
