The agent ended the call with Dayo and slowly lowered her phone.
A small smirk formed on her lips.
"So this is how it is," she muttered under her breath. "You came from America and think this is Hollywood."
She leaned back in her chair, crossing her legs calmly.
"This is Korea," she continued quietly. "We will show you how things really work here."
She picked up her phone again without hesitation and dialed another number.
The call connected almost immediately.
"Yes," a deep voice answered. "What is it?"
The agent straightened her posture instantly. "Good afternoon, sir."
"Hm," the man replied. "You sound confident. Something happened?"
"Yes, sir," she said smoothly. "I just spoke with Director Dayo."
There was a short pause.
"And?" the man asked.
"He asked for feedback," she continued. "About his offer to Minji."
"And what did you tell him?" the man asked.
"I told him that Min-ji declined," the agent said calmly.
Another pause followed.
