Upon reaching the house, the family of five stepped down from the limo, leaving only Dayo outside.
"Eh, you guys go in. I'll join you soon—I just need to talk with Wayne and Viv," he said.
"Alright," Jarden replied before leading the others inside.
Dayo sighed and leaned back against the seat.
Wayne turned to him. "So, Dayo, do you mind telling us what's going on?"
Dayo rubbed his temples. "Honestly, I don't fully understand it myself. But… I was attacked at the airport. And the only person who could possibly have a motive is Philip."
"Philip? You mean the one from UC label? The son of the shareholder—that Philip?" Vivian asked, eyes widening.
"Yeah. That one."
"But how—and why?"
"Remember the story I told you about my ex who tried to steal my song? How I said she wasn't working alone?"
Vivian nodded slowly. "Yes, I remember."
"Well… the person backing her was Philip."
Wayne and Vivian's jaws both dropped.
