CHAPTER 4
The Visitor
The duo turned towards the voice
"Princess Samantha!" The feminine voice echoed again as she approached them.
"Tamara?" Samantha asked in surprise.
"In the flesh!" Tamara replied with a wide smile, extending her arms for a hug. Samantha didn't hesitate, she ran to give her best friend a hug.
Tamara is like a sister to the princess from another kingdom. They met years ago when they were still very little. And since then they grew more and more closer to each other. Making Tamara one of the welcomed guest in Glonvia.
They embraced each other like it was their last.
" oh my God Tamara, how have you been?! " Samantha asked out of curiosity.
" Oh you know, just living life " Tamara replied.
" And how long has it been? Let me guess 4,5,6,10 years maybe " Sam asked with a smile.
"Oh, come on Sam it hasn't been that long...." Tamara answered but stopped talking immediately she adverted her gaze to the man standing right in front of them. His good looks and expensive clothing made her wonder. ' is that Prince Neil? My God! He's so good looking '
"Um.... Sam is that who I think it is ?" She asked pointing towards the man.
"Who?... oh you mean the Prince? " she answered while turning to face him.
Tamara's eyes widened in shock. She couldn't believe that that handsome man was the Prince. She hardly got to see him back then. Cuz he was always so scarce. Either he's out for a day or a week.
" pri...Prince Neil " she stuttered as she approached the Prince who was just standing there watching the whole scenario.
" hey hotty" Tamara said as stretched her hands out for a handshake. " do you remember me ?" She asked.
"Yes. Tamara right? I remember you." He replied and accepted her handshake.
" Thats nice" said Tamara while licking her lips and adjust her body in a seductive manner.
Samantha noticed the awkwardness and quickly interrupted.
" so Tammy. What brought you to Glonvia? "
"Oh! News flash Sam. I'm here to stay " Tamara answered
" Really?! Well in that case you're highly welcome. Guard!" Samantha said and called out to a guard nearby.
" Tell the maids to prepare one of the biggest guestrooms for our guest " she commanded and the took a bow and left immediately.
Neil noticed tamara's seductive stare. He was used to a lot of girls giving him the look but he wasn't in the mood to stand there anymore. So he excused himself.
" Ugh! Why is he so cold? He couldn't even give me a hug, didn't he miss me ?" Tamara teasingly asked
" Oh that's just how he is, Tamara. He's just so boring" Samantha replied and they both burst into laughter.
" We have a lot of catching up to do Tamara. I know you must be so tired from your trip, Come on let's get you something to eat and show you to your room" Samantha added as she lead Tamara through the hallway towards the castle's kitchen for a good meal.
The prince ventured towards his room in a one of the high floors of the castle. He walked towards the door and excused the guards guarding his room. He watched them leave. His hands trailed the door handles to open the door but he stopped on his tracks. Neil stood before the large door, thinking hard about something.
Recently, he's been having series of deja vus that he just can't explain. He could feel each moment like he's lived it before. And just last night he had a dream. In this dream, he saw a lady with her face unseen. Dressed in an armor, holding a sword drenched with blood and Glonvia in deep chaos.
' What could it mean ?' he asked himself within. He then heaved a silent sigh before shrugging it off and heading into his room.

Iris and Lucile, had just arrived at Glonvia. Iris Couldn't believe she's finally in Glonvia. The place is more beautiful than she could ever imagine. Beautiful trees lining the streets and peaceful atmosphere. The people there looked so happy, the children running around happily with nothing to worry about… everything looked so perfect. " this is a dream come true" she whispered to herself.
While carrying her bags she explored further into the kingdoms central park. Beautiful roses, lilies, dandelions and many more flowers of different kinds were littered in sectioned areas of the park, there was a large fountain with glittering waters so pure and clear…. At the centre of the park, the sky's so clear and perfect. The birds chirping and singing melodies… she was in a daze, it felt so surreal, yet so magical. She circled round in awe. From the short bushes to the park benches, the fountains, feeding the birds and playing with other harmless animals in the park. It was really a sight that could connect one with nature… she kept wandering completely mesmerizing to the extent she didn't notice someone carrying large boxes behind her, nearly stumbling into him.
"Watch it!!!" He yelled.
Lucile quickly pulled her away in a split second… pulling her back to reality.
" watch where you're going Iris, you were this close to causing a disaster. My God! You're walking too fast! I can barely keep up with you" Lucile said trying to catch her breath from all the running around.
" oh I'm so sorry Lucile I was so distracted by... " she paused to look around again, slowly zoning out
"Iris!" Lucile called out again " snap out of it" she added while snapping her fingers to get her attention.
" oh! Right! I did it again…." She blushed nervously " I'm sorry sir!" she yelled at the top of her voice.
" what are you doing? He's already gone…" Lucile couldn't help but ask as she face palmed herself in disbelief.
" was I too loud?" Iris asked innocently
" Nevermind let's just go. Pa is waiting for us at home" Lucile replied while pulling Iris by the hand.
