TRACY POV

Early in the morning, Dave stirred awake to the sound of his phone ringing. He looked down to see Tracy nestled against his chest, her face buried there as she cuddled closer in her sleep. The sight made him want to ignore the call and stay like that forever, but he reluctantly slid his arm from around her waist and sat up.

"Hello? What's up, calling me this early?"

On the other end, his friend's voice came fast and shaken. "I just found out I have two kids."

Dave blinked. "What? How? How's that even possible?"

"It's been since she left me… she was already pregnant. That's why she disappeared for two years before making her comeback—so she could raise them properly. She kept it a secret from the whole world. Only her family and close friends knew."

Dave exhaled slowly. "Damn… well, congratulations. How are the kids?"

"They're great."

"Boy or girl?"

"Actually… twins. A boy and a girl."

Dave's lips curved into a smile. "That's amazing. What are their names?"

"Charlie and Cherry."

"Beautiful. I can't wait to meet them."

They ended the call. Dave set his phone aside, his gaze falling back on Tracy. He stroked her cheek tenderly, whispering, "Someday, you and I will have our own baby. I'll make sure you understand just how much I love you." Leaning down, he pressed a soft kiss to her lips before getting out of bed.

After a shower and a change into casual clothes, he emerged to find Tracy stirring awake. She stretched with a yawn, rubbing her eyes as she got out of bed.

"Good morning, Daniel," she murmured, still half-asleep.

"Morning, sweetheart."

She froze mid-step, her cheeks flushing red. "W-What did you just call me? Say it again." Her eyes sparkled with shy excitement.

He smirked, walking closer. "Why? You don't want me to call you that? You don't like it?"

"Of course I like it," she admitted, her blush deepening. "You can call me that… anytime."

"So you want me to say it again?"

She nodded timidly. "Y-Yes."

"I'll call you that as much as you want… if you kiss me."

Tracy rose on tiptoe, her arms sliding around his neck. She pressed her lips to his in a soft kiss, but Daniel quickly took control, deepening it, demanding entry. She gave in, and his tongue explored her mouth, pulling a soft moan from her throat. The kiss grew hungrier until he finally pulled away, leaving her breathless.

Shy but determined, she whispered, "I've given you what you wanted… now it's your turn."

He drew her into his arms, kissing her forehead. "You're right. Now it's my turn."

Lowering his head to her ear, he whispered with deliberate heat, "Sweetheart."

Her eyes widened, her knees instantly weakening. He caught her before she stumbled, his arms holding her steady as his lips found hers again.

6:30 PM

"Charlie, Cherry, are you two ready?" Mirabel called.

"Yes, Mum," they answered in unison.

"Good. Let's go."

"Mum, where are we going?" Charlie asked.

"Don't worry—you'll see."

They arrived at the destination, and as Mirabel pushed the door open, voices erupted from inside.

"SURPRISE!"
