Chapter 56 - CHAPTER 55

GIVING A SPEECH

"Hmm… thank you so much, brother." Mirabel turned to Mike with a smile, then faced the audience.

"This is huge for me. Maybe not for everyone here, but for me, it means the world. Taking over this company means two things: promoting our industry, and shaping the future of tomorrow's stars."

She paused, her voice steady but filled with emotion.

"It's not about the money. It's about the dreamers—the ones who want to shine, to live freely, to travel the world, to perform on stages they never thought possible."

The audience chuckled at her phrasing, her sincerity disarming.

"And now that I'm in charge," she continued, "things will change. I'll raise this company to the top—until we're the number one entertainment industry in the world."

The crowd murmured with excitement.

"I'll make sure young talents become stars—whether they dream of being models, singers, dancers, actors, actresses, songwriters, producers, or directors. Everyone deserves a chance. Because here, there's no such thing as poor or rich. Whether you're a maid, a guard, or from a wealthy family—my company will welcome you. I'll train you, support you, and help you shine."

At home, millions watching her live were smiling, some even jumping with joy.

Mirabel straightened proudly. "Don't forget—I am Mirabel King, the new CEO of King Entertainment. Thank you for listening."

She bowed, and the hall erupted in applause.

Mike pulled her into a hug. "I'm proud of you. Mom would be too."

"Yeah. Thanks," she whispered, pulling away. Cameras flashed as journalists and fans rushed to capture the moment. She posed briefly with her brother before stepping down the stage, still surrounded by snapping cameras.

"Simon, can you hold this for me?" she asked, handing him the framed certificate.

"Of course."

"Babe, that was amazing," Tracy gushed, her eyes shining. "Literally the best speech I've ever heard!"

Mirabel laughed softly. "Thank you. But I need to get changed—we still have a performance to do."

"Right."

She hurried backstage, changing into a pink-and-white gingham mini dress with ruffles, side cut-outs, and wide sleeves. Pink lace-up heels and gold-toned dangle earrings completed the look. The stylists quickly perfected her hair and makeup.

When she sat down in her chair, her natural model instincts kicked in—her pose effortlessly alluring.

"Seriously, girl?" Tracy teased.

Mirabel smirked. "What? This is literally how I sit at shoots."

"If you say so," Tracy laughed.

The host's voice filled the room again. "Okay, everyone! We have a special surprise for you. You already know one of them—but tonight, for the very first time, they'll sing live. Performing Gone by Rosé—please welcome Tracy Eric and Mirabel King!"

The chairs rose slowly, revealing their faces. The crowd erupted with cheers, screaming in excitement at the rare sight of a famous actress and a world-class model side by side.

Mirabel stepped to the mic, her voice calm but honest. "Thank you, everyone, for being here. This is such a huge moment for us. We're kind of nervous—since singing isn't exactly our main job. But please… accept us with all our flaws tonight."

The cheers only grew louder.
