LUCIAN POV
If her brother's opening the hotel… then she'll come too. Lucian's lips curved faintly.
"Fine. I'll go."
Across the room, Clara's eyes lit up. Yes… if we stay together at the hotel, he'll finally fall for me. Only me.
"When is the hotel opening?" Lucian asked flatly.
"Four days from now. Don't worry, I already booked our room." Clara's heart raced. She pictured them sleeping together, her dream finally becoming real.
Lucian only nodded. Clara almost squealed in excitement. He didn't protest. He didn't say a word about sharing the same room—this is perfect. He'll love me. He has to.
The moment she left, Lucian pulled out his phone and dialed.
"You called?" Daniel's voice came through. "Wow, you never call me. Must be serious. What's up?"
"There's a hotel opening in four days. Book a room."
"And why exactly?"
"Because Tracy will be there."
A pause. "That can't be right. Why would she be at some hotel?"
"It's not just a hotel. It's a luxury family resort—Mike King built it. Which means Mirabel and Tracy will be there."
Daniel exhaled. "Makes sense. I'll book something now. But how will Mirabel react when she finds out you've got a fiancée?"
Lucian's tone sharpened. "Don't worry. That engagement was just to shut my parents up. I can break it anytime. Clara means nothing."
"If you say so." Daniel hung up.
Lucian wasted no time. He booked the entire rooftop. Each suite cost twenty million a week, but claiming the whole rooftop—private view, no interruptions—was thirty million. He wired sixty million for two weeks without hesitation.
Mirabel… I'll see you there. This time, I'll explain everything.

MIRABEL POV
"Hi, brother. Hi, Flora."
"Hi, Mirabel." Flora hugged her warmly.
"I'll leave you two. The kids are wearing your father out already," Flora laughed, glancing toward the living room.
"Alright. Brother, where are we staying?"
Mike smiled. "At the rooftop. I already prepared the special room you'll need. The hotel's built in a C-shape, all facing the beach—you'll love it."
"Perfect." Mirabel nodded. "I'll head to Tracy's room then."
Upstairs, she knocked gently but paused when she entered. Cherry and Emily were curled up beside Tracy, chatting.
"Are you disturbing aunty?" Mirabel teased.
"Nooo, we were just asking her things."
"Alright, let aunty rest now."
The two girls giggled and ran out. Mirabel turned to Tracy. "Okay. That look on your face… spill it. What's going on?"
Tracy sighed, but her lips tugged upward. "Fine. There's a rumor spreading about me… and yes, it's true. I'm dating."
Mirabel gasped dramatically. "I knew it! So continue."
"We met a year and six months ago. It's a secret relationship. I was going to introduce him properly during the hotel opening—he's coming too."
Mirabel grinned. "Then let's make it a double date."
Tracy froze. "Wait. You're dating too?!"
"Yeah. Two years now."
"And you didn't tell me?!"
"Sorry."
Tracy pouted, then laughed. "Fine. A double date it is."
Mirabel clapped her hands together. "Perfect. Oh—and I was thinking of dyeing my hair blonde. She's coming to the hotel to do it."
"Then I want red. I haven't had my natural red hair in seven years. I miss it."
"Didn't you act in a movie with red hair last year?"
"That was a wig. This time I want the real thing."
Mirabel chuckled, sending a text. "She said she'll be here in thirty minutes."
The sisters exchanged excited smiles. Something about this hotel trip already felt fated.
