As I took a deep breath, my anger and frustration began to dissipate, replaced by a sense of calm and clarity. I realized that getting worked up over Liam's betrayal wasn't going to solve anything, and keeping a level head was the best option for me.
Meanwhile, Colton remained rational and composed, his expression a mask of calm calculation. He seemed to be thinking several steps ahead, his mind working overtime to find a solution to the crisis at hand.
As I looked at him, I could see how pale and disturbed he looked. I knew that he wouldn't stop at nothing to get the revenge that he deserved. I knew that he wasn't going to take this lightheaded as he was ready to give it to them the way they deserved it.
