Chapter 25 - Six Digits Earnings!

Porac City, Adventurer Agency.

"Your mission completion has been recorded, Sir. The reward has been sent to your bank. Here is your ID card, Mr. Kyson."

Kyson picked up the ID card that was handed back by the staff.

Looking at it, at the back of the card, there is another line that says [Completed Missions: 3].

Just as he planned, Kyson completed three counts of [Goblin Subjugation] mission after he handed over 30 pieces of goblin ears' as proof.

Since that's an E-rank mission, which is one rank higher than him, he only needs to complete another 7 more E-rank missions to rank up.

If not, he also has the option to complete 35 F-rank missions.

Of course, Kyson won't be doing that. It'll be such a waste of time.

After leaving the staff window, Kyson headed to the mission area again.

Standing in front of the mission board, Kyson scanned it for a while to see if any of the monsters he killed today could be handed over to complete another mission.

Just as he thought, there are indeed subjugation missions for those that he killed.

Unfortunately, all of them are of a higher rank with most of them being D-rank. This means he can't take it because of rank restrictions.

"Well, I'm not really surprised."

Just by the strength of those monsters, Kyson already judged them to be higher ranks.

As for why he can beat up such strong monsters while still being an F-rank, his real strength is just higher than his adventurer rank.

After giving up the idea of picking up more missions, Kyson left the missions area and directly crossed to the trading hall.

The trading hall in the Adventurer Agency is located in an area at the back of the staff window.

While on his way, Kyson can't help but feel a bit of excitement.

"I got a lot from my trip this time. I wonder how much I'll get from all of it in total."

With that kind of mood, he arrived at the trading hall.

Unlike the first time, the trading hall this time is packed with people.

Looking at them, they are obviously like Kyson, who just got back from hunting in the wild.

Since there are a lot of people, all ten windows are occupied.

Kyson looked for a window with fewer people lining up and finally walked to window 9.

In window 9 there are only 2 people, excluding Kyson.

Coincidentally, the other person in line is actually someone that Kyson saw before.

It was the girl that sat down beside him on the bus this morning.

Anyway, she left quite an impression on Kyson because of her looks. That's why he can't help but notice her every time he sees her.

The girl seems to feel someone looking at her. She looked behind her and saw Kyson.

The eyes of the two of them suddenly met and the air seemed to pause around them.

Seeing that he got found out looking at her, Kyson just flashed a smile and said,

"Hi!"

The girl looked at him for a while before nodding and looking away.

Seeing that she doesn't want to talk, Kyson didn't feel anything and stopped caring.

Soon, the one in the window finished his transaction and it was the turn of the girl in front of Kyson.

Since it wasn't his turn yet, Kyson scrolled through his phone as he was waiting.

But while his attention is mainly on his phone, he still involuntarily hears the voice of the staff calling the girl as Miss Melody.

10 minutes later.

The girl in front, Melody, finished her transaction and left the trading hall.

Finally, it was Kyson's turn.

"Good afternoon, Sir. What can I do for you?"

"I want to sell some monster's body."

"Okay, Sir. Please follow me to the appraisal area."

Nodding, Kyson followed the staff, who left her seat behind the window, and came to a relatively empty room where only the appraisal equipment could be seen.

From this, you can see that the process is more professional compared to what happened yesterday.

"Sir, please put all the things you want to sell on the appraisal equipment."

"Okay."

At her words, Kyson opened Roast's beast space and ordered him to push everything out.

One by one, the monster's carcasses came out of the beast's space and were thrown to the appraisal equipment.

The staff stood beside the appraisal equipment and paid attention to the monitor screen that is attached to it.

Monster's names and their prices popped up on the screen as each one gets appraised.

With his hands on his pockets, Kyson watched everything proceed in a carefree manner.

After a while, all the monster's body inside the beast space was thrown out.

As for the sunflower, Kyson told Roast to keep it there for a while. If it's not necessary, Kyson decided to hold off selling it for now.

…

Back at the trading hall staff window, the staff was back on her seat and Kyson was also back in front of the window.

"Mr. Kyson, after the appraisal, the total amount of things that you sold reached 625,000 pesos."

"Everything has been sent to your bank. Here's your ID card."

Hearing the words of the staff, Kyson was stunned for a moment.

He was surprised that the selling price of those monsters actually reached more than 600 thousand!

But after thinking about it, those monsters are actually high level monsters.

Compared to what he hunted yesterday, there is a gap as wide as the Mariana trench… well, maybe not, but you get the point.

Receiving his card, Kyson can't suppress the smile that keeps on rising at the corner of his mouth.

After thanking the staff, Kyson left the trading hall.

Exiting the agency, Kyson looked up at the sky and emotions filled his heart.

"Hahaha… I am no longer the Kyson who doesn't have a future…"

Wiping the tears at the corner of his eyes, a resolute look covered his face and he left.
