Chapter 339 – Double Standards: Hatake Yusuke
Madara ignored the Ten Tails for the moment. He slowly raised his hand and touched his own eyes. The warm sensation still lingered clearly within them.
He could feel it—the power of his dōjutsu was increasing at an astonishing rate.
At the same time, he realized that he had also obtained Ōtsutsuki Isshiki's abilities: Sukunahikona and Daikokuten.
Not only that, he had also gained Isshiki's ability to see into the future, originating from that white Byakugan.
However, for now, he couldn't use it yet. That power had not fully fused with him.
While Madara remained silent for a moment, the Ten Tails' form had already undergone a massive transformation. The most obvious change was its size—it had grown far larger than before.
In addition, the Ten Tails now possessed a pair of eyes, staring at Madara with a glint of madness and greed.
"Even a beast wants to join the dance?" Madara said, his gaze filled with contempt.
He merely cast a single glance, and an overwhelming dōjutsu power erupted instantly, completely subjugating the Ten Tails.
It should be known that the Ten Tails was known as the Eye Beast, yet Madara suppressed it with nothing more than a single look. Even without fully merging with Isshiki's eye, Madara at this moment was already terrifying.
Soon after, Madara's gaze once again released the power of his dōjutsu. A space-time gate appeared before the Ten Tails, and eventually, the Ten Tails stepped into it.
Madara did not remain any longer. Right now, he desperately needed time to fully master the changes within his eyes.
On the other side, Yusuke had also sensed Isshiki's death.
"So you succeeded, Madara. I'm really looking forward to our fight in the future," Yusuke said with a faint smile before returning to washing the vegetables in his hands.
"Papa, isn't it done yet?" three soft voices called out almost at the same time.
"Just a little longer, my children," Yusuke replied as his hands moved even faster.
One month later.
In a remote mountain range, inside a small wooden house, a man slowly opened his eyes. In an instant, a terrifying dōjutsu power erupted outward, obliterating the entire room without leaving a trace.
"So this is the power of the Golden Rinnegan? No wonder these eyes are called the Eyes of God. And that head of the Ōtsutsuki clan… just what level has he actually reached?" Madara frowned.
Despite having obtained such immense power, he felt no joy whatsoever.
Along with acquiring Isshiki's eyes, he had also inherited a portion of Isshiki's memories.
The head of the Ōtsutsuki clan possessed eyes that were even beyond the Golden Rinnegan. Yet within Isshiki's memories, the Golden Rinnegan was already considered the highest tier of the Rinnegan.
"I never expected the Golden Rinnegan to strengthen my body to this extent. Next… that beast," Madara muttered.
Before him, a massive monster appeared—another Ten Tails.
The moment the Ten Tails appeared, it let out a thunderous roar.
Madara's gaze remained cold as he stared at it. His eyes then transformed into the Golden Rinnegan as he entered Six Paths Mode.
"I truly didn't expect this Ten Tails to have reached this level," Kurama's voice sounded from within Madara's body.
"Yes, its power has already surpassed ours," Gyūki added.
"It's hard to imagine just how powerful Madara will become after absorbing this Ten Tails," a female voice spoke. It clearly belonged to Matatabi.
"No matter what, Hatake Yusuke won't lose," Kurama said cautiously.
"Hehehe, I never thought even a filthy fox like you could feel fear," Shukaku mocked.
"Do you really think that man will lose?" Kurama sneered coldly. Of course he knew Shukaku was the Tailed Beast most frequently beaten by Yusuke.
"Hmph." Shukaku snorted and said nothing more.
"Isn't it impossible? Madara right now—even without merging with the Ten Tails—has already far surpassed Kaguya. And if he merges with this Ten Tails… I admit that man is very strong, but I still think Madara will win," Kokuō said.
"We'll see," Kurama replied briefly.
Among all of them, Kurama understood Yusuke the best. Being inside Naruto's body had allowed him to witness Yusuke's strength firsthand.
The other Tailed Beasts did not continue the discussion. Madara had already begun absorbing the Ten Tails. None of them dared to disturb him. Madara at this moment was far too terrifying. Just one glance from him was enough to make them tremble.
Outside, the Ten Tails' body slowly merged into Madara's own.
On the other side, Yusuke also sensed something. He slowly opened his eyes, then rose from the floor and looked toward Madara's location.
"Papa, what's wrong?" little Chiba asked when she saw Yusuke stand up with a strange expression. With her short little legs, she ran toward him and asked with concern.
"It's nothing," Yusuke said as he gently rubbed Chiba's small head.
"Dad, stop being lazy. Hurry up and come play with me and my little sisters," a boy's voice sounded.
"Smelly brat, move aside. Don't disturb your father's rest," Yusuke said irritably as he looked at the boy whose face looked exactly like his own when he was young.
Hatake Ryoha, Yusuke's youngest son.
He didn't just share the exact same face Yusuke had as a child—complete with white eyelashes—but his hair had also inherited Tsunade's blonde color.
Most importantly, Ryoha had also inherited Yusuke's extremely terrible personality. He was practically a miniature copy of Hatake Yusuke.
On top of that, because he had awakened his innate ability since birth, he often called himself an invincible figure of the future, since he naturally possessed mastery over the Limitless Technique.
This made even Yusuke feel jealous. After all, it had taken him an extremely long time to master that technique.
If it weren't for the Six Paths Rinnegan granted by the Sage of Six Paths, even Yusuke wouldn't have been able to control it.
Even after becoming extremely powerful, he still had to train relentlessly to reach a level comparable to Gojo Satoru.
In addition, because Ryoha's Six Eyes were innate, the boy didn't need to wear sunglasses at all. But to imitate Yusuke, he still wore both sunglasses and a blindfold.
Because of his innate Limitless Technique, Ryoha had already mastered all five chakra nature transformations since birth. Combined with the Six Eyes granting him atomic-level chakra control, he basically only needed to see something once to master it even better than the original user. This formed his fearless personality—unafraid of heaven or earth.
Of course, there were still people he feared—namely Tsunade and his two older sisters. The boy wasn't even afraid of Yusuke and had repeatedly tricked him just to steal sweets.
The reason he feared Chiba—or rather, feared an angry Chiba—was because once, Ryoha had broken Chiba's beloved doll.
Chiba immediately opened her red Rinnegan and awakened a dōjutsu called Tear. That technique could forcibly tear through the Limitless Technique itself. Ever since that day, Ryoha had been extremely afraid of Chiba.
As for why he feared China, perhaps it was due to natural suppression from bloodline hierarchy.
"Papa, come play with us for a bit," another soft, gentle voice sounded.
"Alright, my dear daughter. Father will accompany you," Yusuke said.
The moment he heard his youngest daughter's voice, his tone changed instantly. The irritated expression from before vanished completely, as if he had become an entirely different person.
This sight made Kurenai and Konan, who were standing nearby, stare in disbelief while muttering inwardly: a daughter-loving father.
"Hmph, you're playing favorites, Dad," Ryoha protested unhappily.
Yusuke turned and stared sharply at Ryoha. Not to be outdone, Ryoha immediately returned the glare. Father and son locked eyes, both widening their gazes stubbornly.
"Smelly brat, I'm your father. Watch your attitude when you speak," Yusuke said irritably.
"Hmph, it's your own fault for playing favorites," Ryoha shot back dismissively.
"What did you say, brat?" Yusuke immediately rolled up his sleeves.
