Chapter 293 - The Yin–Yang Power of the Six Paths

Chapter 293 – The Yin–Yang Power of the Six Paths

On the battlefield, Guy's power continued to surge higher and higher, yet at the same time, the wounds covering his body grew worse, and his vitality and blood steadily drained away.

It was painfully obvious—he was already standing at the very edge, with nothing left to burn. The overwhelming power brought forth by the Eight Gates was never something a mortal body like Guy's could endure for long.

At such terrifying speeds, his body had long since approached the brink of total collapse.

"The next attack will be the finishing blow," Yusuke thought as he watched Guy closely. After the Eight Gates opened, all of Guy's vitality and blood had clearly been concentrated into his legs.

"Gather!" Guy intended to unleash his strongest technique before death claimed him.

"His vitality is almost gone. Are you still not going to act?" Uzumaki Mito asked.

"No need," Hatake Yusuke replied with a faint smile.

"Guy, move forward without hesitation. Leave the rest to me." Kakashi appeared beside Guy.

The Ame no Habakiri in Kakashi's hand began to glow once more. The sword intent enveloping his body surged outward, breaking through its own limits.

The Truth-Seeking Orbs Madara hurled toward Guy were intercepted by Kakashi and knocked away, cracks spreading across their surfaces.

"Have you entered Sage Mode?" Madara asked, his gaze fixed on the patterns at the corners of Kakashi's eyes.

"Come. Let's move together. I, Uchiha Madara, fear no one," Madara said as he wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.

"A thrill like this… aside from fighting Hashirama, this is the first time I've felt it. Can you still go on? Use your strongest techniques." A feverish smile spread across Madara's face.

After all, his entire battle with Hatake Yusuke had been nothing but one-sided suppression. It hadn't given him any excitement at all.

"There's no need. Guy, go," Kakashi said.

He suddenly sheathed his sword, remaining only as a guard against any sudden attack from Uchiha Madara.

Now, he was far stronger than he had ever been before. Watching Guy advance without regard for his own life, Kakashi finally broke through the shackles in his heart.

As he stared at Guy's back, memories surfaced.

"Hey, kid, what's your name?" Kakashi asked as he looked at the young Might Guy being led away by Might Duy.

Hearing that question, the gloomy expression on Guy's face instantly brightened.

"Might Guy. One day, I'll become stronger than anyone." Back then, Kakashi had been genuinely shocked. He could tell Guy wasn't lying—but what confidence did he have to say something like that?

In the blink of an eye, Kakashi was back in the present, staring at Guy whose body had turned completely red.

"Go, Guy. Show them—this is your youth," Kakashi said softly.

A stiff smile appeared on Guy's face.

"Night Guy."

"With chakra like this… I acknowledge you. In taijutsu, among everyone I've ever fought, no one surpasses you. I, Madara, am willing to call you the strongest," Madara declared. His blood boiled as he acknowledged the opponent who had pushed him to the edge of despair.

In response to Madara's praise, Guy instantly shot toward him.

"What? Even space itself is distorting?" Madara couldn't hide his shock.

"Night Guy!"

An immense surge of blood-red vitality took form, shaping itself into a massive crimson kirin.

Then came a devastating kick that slammed into Madara's body. Guy's leg bones shattered completely, while Madara was sent flying, injured—but such wounds were still far from fatal for him.

"Is that all?" Hatake Yusuke watched Guy with a hint of disappointment.

In truth, Guy was already incredibly strong—but it still wasn't enough. Throughout the entire fight, Madara had only used taijutsu, never once tapping into the power of his Rinnegan.

For a Ten-Tails Jinchūriki, if an attack couldn't kill in a single strike, then it was essentially meaningless.

"Guy!" Kakashi instantly appeared at Guy's side. At the same time, Hatake Yusuke stepped into a spiritual space.

"Yo, hello there, Grandpa," Hatake Yusuke greeted casually as he looked at the white-haired, horned man surrounded by ten black orbs, a staff resting behind his back.

"Uncle?" Naruto exclaimed in surprise as he stared at Hatake Yusuke. "Isn't this my spiritual world?"

"Hey, kid, not bad. Looks like you're not going to die. You even look pretty lively," Hatake Yusuke said with a faint smile.

"Cough, cough, cough." As Naruto and Hatake Yusuke chatted, the Sage of Six Paths could no longer endure it and cleared his throat to get their attention.

This was not the time for idle chatter. He still had to explain the situation to Sasuke and Naruto. Though he was surprised that Hatake Yusuke could appear here, thinking about it carefully, it made sense. After all, the man standing before him was truly no weaker than himself.

"Old man, aren't you surprised that I showed up here?" Hatake Yusuke asked.

"I am surprised, but sooner or later, we were bound to meet. I just didn't expect it to be this soon," Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo said with a gentle smile.

"Oh? Sounds like you already accounted for me," Hatake Yusuke chuckled.

"To be honest, I'm extremely surprised. I never imagined this land would give birth to someone as extraordinary as you," the Sage of Six Paths praised him without hesitation.

"Old man, stop with the empty flattery. Just get to the point—what's your plan involving me?" Yusuke said helplessly.

"Haven't you already obtained the power of my eyes? And I can also sense Hamura's aura from you," the Sage of Six Paths said.

"Tch, fine. Hurry it up. Help that kid become Six Paths, and have that brat over there awaken his Rinnegan," Yusuke said.

"It seems you know quite a lot. You've already met Indra, haven't you?" the Sage of Six Paths asked.

"Alright, no more talking. When I took part of Indra's and Asura's chakra, don't tell me you didn't notice. You've always been watching them—after all, they're your sons," Hatake Yusuke said.

"Grandpa's sons?" Naruto asked, completely confused.

"Very well. I'll explain everything to you," the Sage of Six Paths said. He then recounted to Naruto and Sasuke the tale of love and hatred between Indra and Asura, and how he had sealed their mother.

After that, the Sage of Six Paths posed a question to Naruto and Sasuke. Their answers were completely opposite, yet the Sage still granted Sasuke the Six Paths Yin Power.

Then, he turned his gaze toward Hatake Yusuke. Yusuke naturally understood the meaning behind that look. He simply shrugged, indicating that he couldn't interfere.

The Sage of Six Paths didn't press the matter further. He knew Hatake Yusuke would take action. Hatake Yusuke treated Naruto exceptionally well, and he also acknowledged Yusuke's method of educating Naruto.

He understood that simply enduring and yielding would never work. Someone like that wouldn't survive in the shinobi world—let alone change it.

"Whoa, this power is insanely strong! Amazing! So this is Six Paths Yang Power? With this, we can definitely defeat Madara," Naruto said excitedly.

"Incredible. This is the power I've been seeking," Sasuke said as he touched his Rinnegan.

The power of this eye captivated him completely. Was this the difference between himself and Madara? But now, that gap was gone. Sasuke looked once more at the mark on his hand.

Meanwhile, Hatake Yusuke had already exited the spiritual world. He instantly appeared beside Guy, with Uzumaki Mito following close behind.

"Kakashi, move aside," Yusuke said as he pressed his palm against Guy's heart. The vitality that had been escaping Guy's body was forcibly halted by Hatake Yusuke's Yang Release.

"Phoenix Awakening, Revival Flame."

Deep blue flames ignited in Hatake Yusuke's hand. Moments later, Guy's shattered bones rapidly regenerated.

"I'm… healed?" Guy suddenly jumped to his feet, staring at his hands in disbelief.

Even the skin burned away by the Eight Gates had fully recovered. His body now bore not a single wound—he was in even better condition than before he opened the Eight Gates.

"Thank you, Yusuke," Guy said as he looked at him.

Kakashi was also overwhelmed with joy at seeing Guy restored. Deep down, he had been consumed by anxiety, worried that his older brother wouldn't be able to save Guy.

After all, once the Eight Gates were opened, the body was meant to burn to ashes. Even he himself might not have been able to save Guy.
