Chapter 288 – The Brutality of Six Paths Obito

"Rin… this world without Rin… it would be better to just destroy it," Obito's voice echoed from within the giant body.
Before long, his massive form slowly shrank back to normal. Truth-Seeking Orbs appeared behind him, while a staff-like weapon formed in his hand.
Obito had not only completely taken control of the Ten-Tails, but had also gained power far beyond before.
"Hatake Yusuke," Obito stared at him, hatred burning in his eyes.

Although Obito, now a Six Paths being, wasn't directly affected, he could still feel just how terrifying Yusuke's presence was.

The moment the word left his mouth, black clouds flooded the sky. A chilling smile appeared at the corner of Yusuke's lips. Tens of thousands of lightning bolts crashed down, followed by a massive meteor-like mass wrapped in raging lightning, smashing straight toward the ground.
Obito's eyelids twitched violently. Natural lightning of this scale was something even his Six Paths body couldn't simply ignore.
The Truth-Seeking Orbs behind Obito moved at once, merging together to form a defensive shield against the overwhelming attack.
"It's not over yet," Hatake Yusuke said, smiling coldly.
"I'll show you power that can truly destroy the world."
The corners of Yusuke's lips lifted faintly.
"Hollow… Shatter."
A layer of light appeared in his hand and shot toward Obito. The space around Yusuke instantly cracked like shattered glass, massive fractures spreading in all directions. The horrifying vibration sealed off every possible escape route for Obito.
He could only rely on the Truth-Seeking Orbs to endure it.
But even space itself could be torn apart by these vibrations—let alone Truth-Seeking Orbs.
The moment they made contact, the orbs began to break apart. The vibrating shockwave slammed into Obito's body, leaving him severely injured.
"Puah—!"

Yusuke chased after him immediately and delivered another kick. The speed was so overwhelming that even the Truth-Seeking Orbs couldn't react in time.
Obito hastily wrapped his body with the Truth-Seeking Orbs.
"Magma Flood."
A sea of ultra-high-temperature magma erupted around Obito, completely engulfing his spherical defense. The Truth-Seeking Orbs began to melt under the extreme heat, though they hadn't fully disintegrated yet.
"Sage Art: Lava Explosion Might."
The magma's temperature rose even further, as if reaching its boiling point. The Truth-Seeking Orbs started to liquefy.
"Incredible… I never imagined he could be this strong. Even the Ten-Tails can't resist him at all," Kurama said in shock.
"No, Kurama. The Ten-Tails is powerful, but it's not complete. And although the one who became its Jinchūriki resembles that old man, the gap in their true strength can't even be compared," Gyūki replied.
"You're wrong, Gyūki. The man in front of us hasn't even used his full power yet. In my opinion, even if that old man were still alive, he wouldn't be his match," Kurama said solemnly.

A sword of light formed in his hand. With a single slash, the devastating attack instantly destroyed the Truth-Seeking Orbs.
Obito's pupils shrank sharply. He truly couldn't imagine that the Truth-Seeking Orbs—said to erase everything—could be cut apart so easily.
"Never compare yourself to me and Kakashi. Even my beloved little brother isn't worth one ten-thousandth of my power," Yusuke said, letting out a cold laugh.
"Flame Emperor Descends, Infinite Fire Prison."
Blazing flames erupted around Yusuke, forming a sea of fire that rolled forward like a tsunami.
"Infinite Water Release."
With limitless chakra, Obito extinguished Yusuke's flames in an instant.
"Lava Release."
Obito created lava of his own, but it was completely different from Yusuke's. It resembled hardened molten rock, like the Four-Tails' lava, rather than true magma.

He drew Enma.
