Chapter 118 - Against the Three Sannin

Chapter 118 – Against the Three Sannin

"I'm actually on Yusuke's side," Tsunade said firmly. "He's not the kind of person who kills without reason. If it were just because someone became a rogue ninja, he wouldn't even bat an eye. That means there must be a reason—something serious enough to justify killing Hiruko. And if that's the case... then maybe death really is what he deserves."

She knew Hatake Yusuke far too well. He wouldn't take such action unless it was absolutely necessary.

Still, Tsunade also understood—if it weren't for her presence here, neither Jiraiya nor Orochimaru would have even the slightest chance of laying a finger on Yusuke. And even now, she didn't know that even Senjutsu chakra couldn't touch him anymore.

"I know... but... will killing him really solve anything?" Jiraiya murmured with a bitter look on his face.

"That's enough. Don't waste time," Orochimaru interrupted coldly. "Tsunade, you know him best. Tell us—what can he do?"

"Fine. The reason he's nearly unbeatable is his elementalization ability. He can turn his body into elements—light and fire. Fire can be countered with Water Release... but light? There's almost no opening. Only high-level Armament Haki can even touch him physically. I'll handle that part," Tsunade answered sharply.

"Next is speed—he's not using a space-time technique like Flying Thunder God. It's pure speed. And then there's the destructive force he calls vibration power. He claims it could shatter the world... but thankfully, he won't use it against us. Still, when it comes to defense, that power makes him nearly invincible. We have to attack together and stay sharp."

"Also, avoid close combat. His kenjutsu surpasses even White Fang's. His raw physical strength is greater than mine, and he's mastered my Monster Strength Punch. Plus, he has a personal dimension—inside it, he can swap our positions at will or even split our bodies without touching us. As long as we don't enter that space, we still have a chance," Tsunade added calmly, laying bare nearly all of Yusuke's major abilities.

Both Jiraiya and Orochimaru fell silent.

This... how were they supposed to fight that? He had speed, power, defense, battlefield control—there was no angle to attack from. A frontal assault would be suicide.

"...Actually, there's one way we might be able to hurt him," Jiraiya muttered.

"What is it?" Tsunade asked curiously.

"Maybe... Sage Jutsu," Orochimaru answered flatly.

"Oi, don't steal my thunder," Jiraiya grumbled.

"Idiot. This isn't the time for jokes," Tsunade snapped, thumping Jiraiya on the head.

"Yeah... The thing is, I'm not exactly confident in controlling Senjutsu alone. I'll need the two old frogs to help me out," Jiraiya said, scratching his head awkwardly.

He knew full well the two Great Toad Sages adored Yusuke—and had even tattled on him. The idea of calling them for help against him wasn't exactly appealing.

"Summon them. We don't have a choice," Orochimaru said.

"Alright. Summoning Technique!"

A puff of smoke burst forth, revealing the two familiar figures—Fukasaku and Shima, the Great Toad Sages from Mount Myōboku.

"Oi, Jiraiya-boy. What's this about?" Fukasaku asked, looking around.

"Sorry to bother you both, but we're up against someone insanely strong. I need backup," Jiraiya explained with an awkward chuckle.

"Who's the enemy?" Shima asked, suspicious.

"Him," Jiraiya said, pointing.

Far off in the distance, Yusuke stood nonchalantly with a snack in hand, waving flamboyantly.

"Eh? That's little Yusuke?" Shima blinked.

"What's with those clothes?" Even Shima couldn't ignore the outfit.

"If he's the opponent... this is gonna be rough," Fukasaku muttered grimly.

"Exactly. I can't let him kill a former comrade. This time, I have to win," Jiraiya said with resolve.

"Even with our help, beating Yusuke-boy won't be easy," Fukasaku said. "That kid's a monster. His Sage Mode is perfect, and his Senjutsu quality even surpasses ours."

Jiraiya was stunned—but there was no time for hesitation now. Bowing his head, he said, "Please lend me your strength."

"Alright. We'll help however we can," both toads replied.

"Then let's begin," Jiraiya said, activating Sage Mode.

Meanwhile, Yusuke let out a small sigh as he enjoyed his snacks by the open field.

"Seriously, Tsunade... Does she really think I didn't notice? Her acting is awful. Pretending to fight me just because she knows I wouldn't hurt her."

Yusuke understood exactly what Tsunade was doing. She wasn't trying to win. But that just made him more annoyed—because now he had to hold back.

"What a pain. Fights like this are such a drag..."

Suddenly, a loud voice echoed across the area.

"BEHOLD, WORLD! The Great Jiraiya of Mount Myōboku has arrived!"

BAM!

Two fists smacked Jiraiya square in the face—courtesy of the two old toads.

"Shut it, you idiot!"

"...So, shall we begin?" Yusuke asked casually, strolling toward them with his hands in his pockets.

"Of course!" Tsunade shouted, launching forward.

"Armament! Monster Strength Punch!"

"Sage Art: Great Flame Bullet!"

"Hidden Shadow Snake Hands!"

The three attacked in unison, moving with surprising coordination. As the smoke cleared, they quickly retreated.

"Did we get him? He didn't seem to turn into an element..." Tsunade asked.

"Nope," came Yusuke's calm voice as he stepped out of the smoke, still unscathed, hands in pockets.

"You can't touch me... not even without elementalization. This is my new ability," he said with a faint smirk.

Kunai flew toward him from Orochimaru's direction—but all of them halted midair, just ten centimeters from his body, and then dropped harmlessly to the ground.

"Wow... Snake-ojisan really plays it safe," Yusuke said.

"Well, we are up against you," Orochimaru replied flatly.

"Then, my turn."

Yusuke vanished.

In the blink of an eye, he reappeared right beside Jiraiya.

"Armament..." A punch flew at Jiraiya's face, but the Sannin dodged—his enhanced sensory abilities from Sage Mode saving him just in time.

Jiraiya leapt back, but Yusuke closed the gap again instantly.

"Sage Art: Ultra Giant Rasengan!"

A monstrous Rasengan, bigger than Jiraiya's entire body, formed in his palm and flew at Yusuke. But Yusuke didn't even flinch. He stood still, hands in his pockets, as the ground beneath him cratered from the impact—yet not a scratch touched him.

"...Impossible," Jiraiya whispered, stunned.

"Fall back, Jiraiya-boy!"

"Sage Art: Frog Song!" The two toads began chanting their powerful auditory genjutsu.

"Armament! Heavenly Foot of Pain!"

Tsunade jumped high, delivering a crushing kick from above.

"Sage Art: Wild Lion's Mane!" Jiraiya's hair grew and tried to bind Yusuke's limbs.

But none of it worked.

Tsunade, especially, could feel it. No matter how hard she hit, it felt like striking thin air. Yusuke was right in front of her—yet somehow, it felt like he was miles away. An eerie sensation… as if they didn't even exist in the same dimension.
