Chapter 46 - chapter 46 Honkai 3rd Start

POV: 3rd Person

Multiverse Chat Group

[Kiana Kaslana]: HELP! Is anyone free right now?! My school is demanding a parent-teacher conference because my midterm grades are completely in the abyss. If I don't bring a guardian today, they are going to suspend me!

[Serafall Leviathan]: Oh no! Kiana-chan, I wish I could help, but I am absolutely drowning in Underworld paperwork! Sona and Rias's peerages successfully apprehended Kokabiel, Valper, and Freed. Xenovia and Irina is returning to the Vatican since she didn't reincarnate into a Devil. Oh, and Kokabiel almost got killed by the girls, but Valina and Abygail swooped in to drag him back to Azazel! Next on my plate is the Young Devils Gathering and dealing with the Norse Pantheon... I'm so busy!

[Jay]: Good job on handling the Kokabiel incident, Serafall. Their growth is on track. Just keep me updated if there are any anomalies. Tatsuya, Lelouch, how about you guys?

[Shiba Tatsuya]: I cannot assist at the moment. After completely dismantling the Blanche syndicate, I am currently tracking down the remnants of the 'No Head Dragon' criminal organization. My schedule is full.*

[Lelouch vi Britannia]: I am also unavailable. I am currently in the critical stages of forming my rebellion group's core foundation, the Black Knights. A trip to another universe is hard right now.

[Jay]:Alright, fine. I'll be your guardian, Kiana. Give me a few minutes to get ready.*

[Elysia]:Oh! Can I come too, Jay~? ♪ I really want to see Kiana's world! And more importantly, I miss my handsome fiancé so much!

[Jay]: Sure, Elysia. Let's go on a little date in Nagazora.

Nagazora City, Japan

A discreet space-time portal spiraled open inside a narrow, damp alleyway in Nagazora City. Jay and Elysia stepped out of the void, their fingers naturally intertwined.

"Wow, the air here feels not so different!" Elysia chirped, twirling around slightly while still holding Jay's hand. She was dressed in a beautiful, elegant casual dress that perfectly complemented Jay's sleek, dark outfit. She leaned her head affectionately against his broad shoulder, radiating pure happiness at finally being reunited with him.

A moment later, a white-haired girl with bright blue eyes sprinted into the alleyway, panting heavily. Kiana stopped in her tracks, her eyes widening as she looked at the couple standing before her.

Her gaze landed on Jay first. His towering 6'7" frame, incredibly broad shoulders, and flawlessly handsome, mature face literally took her breath away.

Oh my god, the leader is insanely hot! Kiana's mind screamed, a heavy crimson blush instantly dusting her cheeks. However, she quickly shook her head, frantically slapping her own cheeks.

No, no, no! Bad Kiana! My heart belongs entirely to Mei-senpai!

Then she looked at Elysia, completely awestruck by the pink-haired woman's ethereal, fairy-like beauty and the loving way she clung to Jay's arm.

"You guys really came!" Kiana beamed, running up to them.

Jay looked around the damp, garbage-filled alleyway, raising a skeptical eyebrow.

"Kiana, why did you set the coordinates to this random, dirty alley?"

Kiana blinked innocently. "Oh, this is my home!"

Jay froze. "...Excuse me?"

"Well, sometimes I sleep in the 24-hour internet cafe, but when I run out of money, I sleep in an abandoned shack near here,"

Kiana explained cheerfully, completely oblivious to how tragic she sounded.

Jay massaged his temples, a headache already forming.

"Kiana. Did your father, Siegfried, not leave you any money or a bank card when he left?"

"Nope!" Kiana shook her head.

"He disappeared when I was around eleven. I've been wandering around from city to city looking for him ever since. I usually just do odd jobs to survive, and sometimes kind people at the market give me free food!"

Jay cursed Siegfried internally.

Deadbeat bastard father. He understood the logic—if Siegfried had left a bank trail, Otto Apocalypse and Schicksal would have instantly tracked Kiana down. But letting a teenage girl live on the streets for years was absurd.

"Oh, poor, kiana!" Elysia gasped, her maternal instincts kicking into maximum overdrive. She let go of Jay for a second to pull Kiana into a tight, affectionate hug, squishing the girl's face against her generous chest. "Jay! Let's adopt her!"

"We're here to act as her guardians, not adopt her," Jay sighed, though a soft smile played on his lips at his fiancée's endless empathy.

He pulled out a highly modified, sleek laptop from his spatial inventory. His fingers flew across the keyboard at god-like speeds as he effortlessly bypassed the firewalls of the Japanese government and Schicksal's global databases.

"I'm forging our identities so we don't trigger Schicksal's radar," Jay explained.

"I'm registering us under the name 'Khaslana'—with an 'h'—to make it look like a very distant branch family. I'll be Jay Khaslana, your older cousin, aged 24. Elysia will be my fiancée, Elysia Khaslana, aged 21."

"F-Fiancée?! So you guys really engaged?" Kiana stuttered, looking back and forth between them"

"We really are engaged, Kiana-chan~," Elysia giggled, walking back to Jay and wrapping her arms around his waist from behind, resting her chin on his back. She then playfully poked his cheek.

"But Jay~, making yourself 24? You're 15, you know! And I'm 18! You intentionally made yourself older than your big sister fiancée~. Are you trying to act all grown up?"

Jay chuckled, turning his head slightly to kiss the top of Elysia's head.

"Do I look 15 to you? Back in my world, bystander literally call me 'Sir' because my tall. I need the age on paper to match the natural authority of my face. No teacher is going to question a 24-year-old guardian."

A/N: before he get system his body is 6'23ft (190cm) like orginal gojo now 6'7 ft (200cm)

"Mmm, fair point. You do look very mature and handsome," Elysia hummed happily, nuzzling against his chest.

"Now, for the funds," Jay muttered, turning his attention back to the screen. He hacked directly into Schicksal's private financial grid, bypassing the world's most advanced quantum encryptions to target the personal, untraceable offshore accounts of Overseer Otto Apocalypse. He siphoned a massive chunk of money into a newly forged, secure bank account for Kiana.

"And as a bonus..." Jay smirked.

He accessed the Overseer's personal gaming console servers. He permanently deleted Otto's max-level for Kallen Fantasy accountand left a simple pop-up message on the screen.

POV: Otto Apocalypse

Location: Schicksal Headquarters - Overseer's Office

Otto Apocalypse, the absolute ruler of Schicksal and the most powerful man in the world, was currently relaxing in his luxurious office chair. He held a gaming controller in his hands, deeply focused on clearing a difficult raid in *Kallen Fantasy*.

The doors to his office slid open. His trusted assistant, Amber, walked in with an urgent data pad.

"Overseer, please excuse the interruption," Amber said, her voice laced with concern.

"Your private offshore bank account has just been breached by an unknown hacker."

Otto didn't even pause his game, his eyes glued to the screen.

"Oh? Let it be, Amber. Just track their IP address slowly. How much did they manage to take before the firewall caught them?"

Amber checked the data pad again, her eyes widening slightly.

"They... they bypassed all security protocols, Sir. They stole exactly One Billion USD from your personal funds."

*Clatter.*

The gaming controller slipped from Otto's hands, hitting the floor.

Otto froze. He slowly turned his head to look at Amber. "What?"

He quickly cleared his throat, adjusting his collar to maintain his dignified composure.

"Ahem... W-Well, it is merely money. It does not matter. Schicksal possesses near-infinite capital. We will find them."

"There is more, Sir," Amber continued hesitantly.

"The hacker left a direct text message on our secure server."

"Read it," Otto ordered, narrowing his eyes.

"The message reads: 'Haha chuck otto, Kallen loves Sakura. By the way, I deleted your account. Ciao"

Before Otto could even process the words, the massive TV screen in front of him the game forcefully logged out.

Otto's eyes widened in absolute panic. He practically leaped out of his chair, rushing to his primary computer terminal. His fingers frantically typed across the keyboard, logging directly into the game's master database using his ultimate Game Master credentials.

He searched for his account. The account he had spent thousands of hours for highest score

[ERROR 404: Account Not Found. Data Irrecoverable.]

It was gone. Deleted entirely from existence without a single trace.

Otto stared at the blank screen. The veins on his neck bulged. His calm, calculated facade completely shattered into a million pieces.

"BASTAAAAARD!!!" Otto roared at the top of his lungs.

The sheer emotional damage and stress were too much for his solodium vessel to handle. Otto coughed up a mouthful of blood, his eyes rolling to the back of his head before he collapsed onto the keyboard, completely unconscious.

"OVERSEER!!" Amber screamed, panicking as she rushed to his side.

POV: 3rd Person

Chiba academy

The moment Jay, Elysia, and Kiana walked through the gates of Chiba Academy, the entire courtyard went dead silent.

Students stopped in their tracks, completely mesmerized. Jay radiated the majestic aura of an apex predator mixed with a top-tier model, while Elysia looked like a literal goddess of beauty descended from the heavens. She walked gracefully by Jay's side, holding his arm affectionately. Kiana walked beside them, puffing her chest out proudly as if presenting her royalty.

They entered the faculty office. Kiana's homeroom teacher, an older woman with a strict demeanor, immediately lost all her sternness the second Jay sat across from her.

"Good morning. I am Jay Khaslana, Kiana's distant cousin and legal guardian, and this is my fiancée, Elysia," Jay introduced himself smoothly, his deep voice incredibly polite and authoritative.

"I apologize for Kiana's father's absence. He is currently dealing with urgent business overseas, so we flew in to take care of her."

"O-Oh, it is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Khaslana," the teacher stuttered, clearly flustered by Jay's overwhelming handsomeness and Elysia's radiant smile.

The conference went flawlessly.

Jay played the role of the responsible, slightly disappointed older cousin perfectly, promising the teacher that he would personally tutor Kiana to ensure her midterm grades improved. His charisma easily smoothed over any threats of suspension.

After leaving the office, Kiana let out a massive sigh of relief.

"Thank you, Leader! You saved my life!"

"Don't thank me yet. I'm actually going to force you to study later," Jay warned, making Kiana groan in absolute despair.

"Now, where is Mei? We need to talk to her father."

"Right this way!" Kiana led them down the hall toward the top-tier classrooms.

Outside Class 1-A, a beautiful girl with long, dark purple hair was just walking out of a classroom alongside a tall, distinguished-looking man in a sharp business suit.

"Mei-senpai!" Kiana waved excitedly, running up to her.

Raiden Mei smiled warmly at Kiana, but her eyes immediately shifted to the two people walking behind her. Mei's breath hitched slightly. The man approaching them was undeniably the most handsome, imposing man she had ever seen in her life. A faint blush crept up her neck, but she quickly noticed the incredibly beautiful pink-haired woman holding his hand tightly. Mei immediately dismissed any improper thoughts out of pure respect for their relationship.

"Mei-senpai! These are my distant relatives!" Kiana introduced them happily.

"This is my cousin, Jay Khaslana, and his fiancée, Elysia!"

Raiden Ryoma's eyes narrowed slightly. As the CEO of Massive Electric (ME Corp) and anti antropy member, his mind was incredibly sharp and analytical. He knew the Kaslana lineage well. Since when did his friend Siegfried have a distant branch family operating in Japan? The Kaslanas were an incredibly exclusive and well-documented family.

Ryoma stepped forward, maintaining his polite, corporate composure.

"A pleasure to meet you. I am Raiden Ryoma."

Before Ryoma could say anything else, a deep, calm voice echoed directly inside his mind.

Do not react, Mr. Raiden. I am speaking directly into your mind.

Ryoma's pupils dilated in pure shock, but his years of strict corporate discipline kept his facial expression entirely neutral.

I am here to help you, Jay's telepathic voice continued smoothly.

We need to talk privately about the Honkai, and what currently implanted inside your daughter's body, and yeah by the way Cocolia is planning to coup ME Corp.

Ryoma's heart hammered violently against his ribs. This stranger knew his deepest, darkest secrets—secrets that could destroy his daughter's life and his entire company.

Ryoma extended his hand, his grip tight.

"It is rare to meet Kiana's family. Since the girls are such good friends, how about we step aside and have a quick chat about... business?"

Jay smiled, shaking Ryoma's hand firmly.

"I would love to, Mr. Raiden."

Jay turned to the girls. Kiana, Elysia. Take Mei to the cafeteria and keep her distracted. Ryoma and I are going to have a talk.

Mei nodded innocently. "We'll be at the canteen, Father."

As the three girls walked away, Ryoma's polite, corporate smile completely vanished. He turned to Jay, his eyes sharp, cold, and heavily guarded.

"Alright," Ryoma said, his voice dropping to a serious, low tone.

"Who are you really, and what exactly do you want with my daughter?"

While speaking, Ryoma's sharp mind was rapidly analyzing the towering young man in front of him.

His white hair and facial structure... he undeniably possesses the physical traits of the Kaslana bloodline, Ryoma thought carefully. But his eyes... The Kaslanas are known for their distinct sapphire blue eyes. This man's eyes are completely different. They look like a crystal-clear sky.

Jay simply smiled, his hands resting casually in his pockets.

"I already told you, Mr. Raiden. I'm just Kiana's friend. I came here today purely as a volunteer because she was about to get suspended, and her actual guardian is too busy playing hide-and-seek."

Jay tilted his head slightly, looking up at the roof of the academy building. "Isn't that right, Uncle Siegfried? You can come out now."

Ryoma's eyes widened.

Thud.

A tall man with spiky white hair and a rugged, unshaven face dropped down from the shadows of the roof. He wore a worn-out trench coat, and in his hands were one of two heavy, terrifyingly powerful pistols—the Divine Key, Judgment of Shamash. The gunwere aimed directly at Jay's head.

"I was planning to sneak in quietly just to check on my kid's report card," Siegfried Kaslana growled, his eyes narrowed suspiciously at Jay.

"But then she suddenly shows up with some guy claiming to be family. Who the hell are you?"

"Whoa, easy with the fiery guns, old man," Jay said, completely unfazed by the Divine Key aimed at his face.

"Like I said, I'm just a friend who knows a little too much about how the world works. And I'm here to stop a disaster."

Jay turned his attention back to Ryoma, dropping his playful tone.

"Let's get straight to the point. Cocolia is planning to overthrow you from your position as CEO of ME Corp using fabricated evidence of corruption. But her true goal isn't just the company."

Ryoma tensed, his fists clenching at his sides.

"Cocolia plans to isolate and psychologically torture your daughter," Jay continued, his voice echoing with absolute authority.

"She wants to push Mei's negative emotions to the absolute breaking point, triggering a massive Honkai Outbreak right here in Nagazora. She wants Mei to awaken as the Third Herrscher so she can extract the Gem of Conquest to save someone important to her."

"What?!" Siegfried yelled, momentarily forgetting his hostility toward Jay as pure rage took over. He glared at Ryoma.

"That crazy bitch wants to trigger a Honkai Eruption in a densely populated city?! Millions of innocent people will die! And you, Ryoma! Why the hell did you embezzle funds and give her the opening to frame you in the first place?!"

Ryoma closed his eyes, a deep sigh of regret escaping his lips.

"I didn't do it for personal greed," Ryoma admitted, his voice heavy with guilt.

"When I discovered the Gem of Conquest inside Mei, I knew the radical factions of Anti-Entropy would use her as a weapon or kill her. I couldn't even trust the Sovereign, Welt, to protect her. So, I secretly diverted company funds to finance Project MEI and develop Anti-Honkai weapons, like the plasma katana."

Ryoma looked down at his hands.

"I was desperately trying to find a way to extract the Gem safely without killing my daughter. I acted alone... and Cocolia used that against me."

Jay nodded.

"A father trying to protect his daughter. I respect that. So, here is the plan: for the time being, do absolutely nothing."

"Nothing?" Ryoma frowned.

"Act completely normal. Let Cocolia think her plan is working," Jay said.

"Don't make any sudden moves that might push her to accelerate the outbreak. I will handle the rest behind the scenes."

Jay then shifted his piercing gaze to Siegfried.

"And as for you, Uncle... leaving your teenage daughter to live in abandoned shacks and internet cafes for years? Truly, 'Father of the Year' material right there."

Siegfried flinched, looking away with a pained expression.

"You think I want her living like that? I carry a massive target on my back. Being near me puts her in constant danger! And I can't exactly leave her a credit card either—if I use any Schicksal-linked funds, Otto will track her down in seconds!"

"I know," Jay replied calmly.

"I'm fully aware of the complicated situation regarding Kiana's existence. In fact..."

Jay stepped slightly closer to Siegfried, a mysterious, knowing smile forming on his lips.

"Since we are 'family' on paper now, I'll give you one free piece of advice," Jay whispered, his voice laced with gravity.

"Your real daughter is still alive."

Siegfried froze.

The air around the rugged Kaslana completely stilled. The Judgment of Shamash nearly slipped from his grasp. His eyes widened to the size of saucers, his pupils trembling violently as his brain short-circuited trying to process those words.

"Y-You...!" Siegfried choked out, stepping forward, his breathing erratic. "How do you— WHERE IS SHE?!"

Jay held up a hand, his limitless aura flaring for a fraction of a second, forcing Siegfried to stop in his tracks.

"Not yet," Jay said dismissively. "That is a conversation for another time. Right now, both of you need to leave. Disperse. We have a little mouse listening to us."

Ryoma, catching the hint immediately, nodded respectfully.

"I will trust you for now, Jay Khaslana." He quickly turned and walked back into the academy building.

Siegfried wanted to grab Jay by the collar and demand answers, but one look at Jay's unreadable, terrifyingly calm eyes told him he wouldn't get anything by force. Clenching his jaw, Siegfried holstered his guns and vanished back into the shadows of the academy walls, his mind a chaotic storm of hope and agony.

Once the two fathers were gone, Jay turned his gaze toward a large oak tree near the edge of the courtyard.

"It's extremely rude to eavesdrop on adults talking, kid," Jay said loudly. "Come out."

For a moment, there was silence. Then, a small figure emerged from behind the thick trunk of the tree.

It was a young girl with spiral, ash-grey hair. She wore a dark, militaristic dress, but what stood out the most were her legs. They were heavily supported by mechanical, exoskeleton prosthetics, allowing her to hover slightly above the ground.

Her face was entirely devoid of emotion, like a perfectly crafted, stoic doll.

Bronya Zaychik stared at Jay with blank, deadpan eyes.

"Who are you?" Bronya asked, her voice a flat, robotic monotone heavily tinged with a Russian accent.

"Subject Bronya's surveillance equipment, as well as Project Bunny's internal radar systems, completely malfunctioned and shut down the moment you began speaking. That should be technologically impossible."

Jay had passively emitted a localized spatial distortion and EMP field the entire time, rendering all of Cocolia's bugs useless.

Jay let out a long, exhausted sigh.

"If I get asked 'Who are you' one more time today, I'm going to lose my mind. Look, kid, let's cut to the chase."

Jay took a step forward, his towering frame casting a shadow over the emotionless girl.

"Are you absolutely certain that Mama Cocolia's plan will save Seele?" Jay asked, his voice piercing straight through her stoic facade.

"And even if it miraculously works... do you honestly think Seele will be happy? Do you think that sweet, kind girl won't blame herself for the rest of her life knowing her freedom was paid for with the blood of millions of innocent people in Nagazora?"

For the first time, a microscopic crack appeared in Bronya's emotionless mask. Her eyes widened by a fraction of a millimeter. The mention of Seele—and the horrifying truth of what Seele's guilt would do to her—hit Bronya exactly where it hurt the most.

"Mama Cocolia stated that this is the only viable method," Bronya replied softly, her monotone voice wavering ever so slightly.

"Bronya... does not know any other way."

Jay smirked, a confident, absolute aura radiating from him.

"Then let's make a deal, Bronya Zaychik," Jay proposed.

"You will act as my eyes and ears. Sabotage Cocolia's operations from the inside and ensure this Honkai Outbreak never happens. In exchange, I will personally dive into the Sea of Quanta and pull Seele out, alive and perfectly safe."

Jay's smile faded, his crystal-clear blue eyes turning dangerously cold. "Or... I could just fly to the Anti-Entropy base right now and wipe Cocolia and her entire faction off the face of the earth. The choice is yours."

Bronya stood frozen in place. Her emotionless eyes stared up at the imposing young man, her brilliant, calculating mind racing as she weighed the impossible choices laid out before her.
