She whimpered. I looked down slowly and saw a faint green glow running through her veins, from her fingertips to the middle of her palms. "Walk away. Don't make a scene." I begged her.
"Shut up." She snapped at me. Angrily.
Quickly, I stood in front of her and glared. "Let's go." I pulled her away from staring at Joel and his girlfriend, Cliff catching up with us moments after, asking what was going on.
"Joel's girlfriend showed up, I just had to get her out of there." I rubbed my forehead.
"I said I was fine." She shouted at me, attracting the attention of some people. She leaned on the railing outside the store.
"Crap, when did Tamara get here?" Cliff muttered.
"About five minutes ago. Look, just go hang out with Joel, we're going shopping. I'll text you when we're done and we'll meet you by the car." I told him.
