Chapter 3: A tainted past
Vada's backstory
"Sniffle sniffle,"a young Vada cried at the window pane of her room, the door creeked open and her dad walked in and was puzzled by her tears, he raced toward her and held eight year old Vada in his arms and asked her why she was crying.
"I saw mum and Dr. Neil doing horrifying activities in her office." She replied still sniffling
"What do you mean" her father said quizzically.
" I heard weird sounds coming from her office and went to check it out when i saw them without clothes, I ran away and still can't shake off the feeling". I said shivering.
My dad sighed and had his usual pained expression, I had a feeling he already knew but what I couldn't shake off was the fact that he didn't do anything about it.
Later we went to our lab were I and my dad made cool gadgets together including the arki bracelet and our top secret jarki set.
"Dad lets go please I am tired". I told my dad after we spent hours working,
"Then suddenly we heard footsteps and my dad hid me in the closet and gave me his Phoenix pendant, "da", I didnt have time to finish my sentence as he closed the door, "don't make a sound or come out".
The footsteps drew closer until bam the door opened and suddenly got locked.
"Raven my insufferable husband". My mum said while stroking his chin, he pulled back.
"El, I know you don't love me but please spare our daughter she's still very young"
"I don't love you nor that trash you call a daughter we both know she was a mistake a failed contraceptive, so why would I care"
"Then lets get a divorce" my father replied.
"Hmm a man of your status, no way give me the plans to the weapon and you will be free" Elvira said grinning
" You cheated on me countlessly, I would rather die than give them to you, El I loved you but I regret that decision"
" So be it, Neil do it", Elvira snapped her fingers, then Neil pushed a few buttons and my Dad went flying out of the window downwards, apparently he had hacked his neuro covertable and made his body go backwards against his will so nobody would find traces of touch or kelt(the source of the special abilities).
And that's how he died.
My father was the second prince of the world and third child of the world monarch, he had light red hair and dark green eyes, a slender yet delicate figure, so generally he was eye candy, he was blessed with the ability of infinite knowledge and it was his power that killed him.
