Chapter 4 - BLUE BLOOD – EPISODE 4

FLASHBACK – 12 Years Ago

Abandoned Factory, Deep Forest

Officer: "Mr. James!"

James slowly turned around.

James: "Yes?"

BLUE BLOOD

Officer: "We found some blood drops."

James: "Where?"

Officer: "On the second floor."

James: "Lead me there."

The officer guided James through the creaking corridor. They entered a room on the second floor—nearly pitch dark, faint blue light spilling in through cracked windows. The walls were covered in thick spider webs. Dust floated like ghosts in the stale air.James scanned the room, sharp eyes searching for clues. Then he noticed something strange in the corner—a peculiar flower blooming unnaturally. He knelt, touched it gently. As he looked closer, he spotted a pistol hidden behind it. He picked it up, checked the ammo—two bullets were missing.

James: "Here. Evidence."

Officer: "Yes, sir."

James: "When was this factory abandoned?"

Officer: "About four years ago."

Suddenly—gunshots.

Without hesitation, James and the officers sprinted down the corridor, following the sound. They burst into a room to find a terrified female officer firing at a man—a man who looked half-rotten, half-dead… and wasn't dying. The man didn't flinch. He moved forward as bullets ripped through his body.

James: "Hold fire! He's not human…"

Another officer lunged at the creature, but the man tossed him aside like a rag doll.James scanned the room, desperate—and then he saw it: a perfume bottle on a dusty shelf. The creature stalked toward James, red eyes glowing, mouth wide open.James grabbed the perfume, sprayed it into the man's face.Still, no reaction. The perfume even got into his eyes—he didn't blink. Then the creature opened his mouth to scream.James shoved the perfume bottle into the man's mouth and kicked him backward. Without pause, he drew his pistol and fired. The bottle exploded, taking the creature's head with it.Before anyone could breathe, another creature dropped from the ceiling, crashing onto the female officer. In one brutal motion, he ripped her head from her body.Officers screamed. The creature turned, firing sticky web from his mouth, pinning two others to the wall. One officer managed to shoot it in the head. The creature dropped, finally dead. Everyone was in shock—except James. He wasn't afraid. He was intrigued.

after sometimes

The mess was cleaned. Bodies were taken away. The case was buried—classified. If the public found out about this, panic would spread like wildfire. One by one, the officers left the factory. As James turned to leave, something caught his ear—a faint sound from the room where the battle had happened. He walked back quietly… and there, in the corner, stood a little girl—no more than 8 or 9 years old.

James: "Hey, little one. It's not safe here. Where are your parents?"

The girl turned slowly. Her eyes locked with James's… and then she climbed the wall backwards, like a spider.James froze, startled. He raised his gun—but didn't fire. The girl paused… then dashed to the window, jumped outside, and vanished into the forest—climbing a tree like a wild creature. She was crying when she looked at him.

James had a clear shot. He didn't take it.

PRESENT DAY

James: "If I had shot her that day… none of this would be happening. It's all my fault."

Cloe: "No, James. It's not your fault… Wait, you never told me—where did you find that blood and the old report?"

James: "I found it near the factory. On the tree she climbed."

Suddenly, James's phone buzzed. Unknown number.

James: "Hello?"

Unknown Voice: "Is this James?"

James: "Yeah… who is this?"
