"You don't have to do this," Evryli said, panting, blood on her clothes.
Romidas Dehaerth pointed his sword at Evryli. "Don't tell me what to do witch."
Evryl retorted "What did I do to deserve dewth Romidas Dehaerth?! Not all witches are evil, they not all bad as humans believe!"
Romidas roared."All witches are evil. That's what the Order teaches. That's what I believe. And nothing you say will make me change my mind. You witches are all murderers, thieve, deceicers and treacherous. You make fools of humanity., lying, pretending to be us. Death is showing you mercy."
Evryli stood beside her creature — hunched, stitched figure with glowing eyes and sharp limbs. It looked monstrous, but it reached for her hand like a child.
"I've never killed anyone," she said.
"Then what is that creature made from the corpses of the dead! You have defiled them and you claim yet you claim to be innocent."
Evryl flew backwards as he Romidas lunged at her with his blade, now glowing with mana
She spoke. " I have never harmed anyone. Yes it's made with corpses but they are dead already, what attachment do you keep with a husk?"
"They are corpses of loved ones, friends, family, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers and many more and you dare defile their memory." Romidas shed tears looking at the creature.
The air pulsed with energy. Romidas activated his armor, a blue shield wrapping around him. Magic sigils floated around his arms.
Evryli's fingers twitched. Her creature, Malice.growled, mouth parting to reveal mismatched sereted teeth.
"I didn't create Him to fight," Evryli said. "I made her to understand. I want to understand, to create life, to see life" Evryli looked down to her feet as she floated around Malice then she looked back up. "WHAT'S WRONG WITH WANTING TO CREATE LIFE!? WHAT'S SO WRONG ABOUT IT?!"
Romidas charged.
The creature leapt forward with a roar.
Steel met claw. Sparks flew. The creature slammed into Romidas, but he spun and blasted it with a magic burst. It shrieked, flung backward.
Evryli raised her hand. Chains of glowing black light wrapped around Comida's legs. He slashed through them with a curse.
"Stop resisting," he barked.
"I won't die until I create the perfect life form, I won't let you end my dream," Evryli said. She whispered a spell. Lightning shaped like wolves blasted toward Romidas. Injuring him.
" You witches make me sick. You are a plague on this land. You're one of the vilest creatures to ever exist."
She charged her spell once more." You need to stop this, I will kill you if you don't."
He blocked it with his shield, then struck her with a spear of light. It pierced her side.
She cried out. Her creature howled.
"You think you're righteous," Evryli said, blood on her lips.
"I am," he answered. "I kill witches, monsters, beasts and demons."
He raised his blade and struck her through the heart.
She fell. Blood pouring onto the ground like a flood. It formed hands and they pierced His body and entered him.
"Hahahahahahahahah!"
"What... what is this?"
"You...are.....a fool," she whispered. "You killed me. But now..." She chuckled"... we are bound for fate."
"Nooo...!"
"... we are not."
"My curse is my blood, your blood is my curse. You will live... and your bloodline will carry me. Forever."
"I said I won't let you kill me and that was a promise. The moment that blood is synced with your soul, ill be part of you and I'll use you, your children and descendants to finish my work."
Romidas screamed.
"No! This is a trick that is all. Nothing but a last attempt to scare me."
Romidas laughed, tightly gripped his sword, then cut off her head.
Malice charges at Romidas but he easily cut it in half. " How dare you have the desire to avenge this monster"
"We are one, Romidas. And you will never change that."
Romidas raised his blade and cut her head off, he knelt and grabbed it and put it in a sack. He started to walk away from the corpse as it turned into a tree and sprouted to full size. Romidas didn't look back, he kept walking with a scowl ok his face and the forest swallowed him.
