"Zane, stop stealing my fries!" Luna smacked his hand as he casually reached across the table for the third time.
"They taste better when they're yours," he grinned, unfazed.
"You literally ordered the same thing."
"Exactly," he shrugged, tossing one into his mouth. "Mine are too perfect. Yours have sibling seasoning, extra flavor."
Luna rolled her eyes. "You're so annoying."
"But you love me," he teased, ruffling her hair.
"Barely," she muttered, though her smile betrayed her.
Across the open rooftop café they'd claimed as their favorite weekend spot, Asher leaned back in his chair, watching the twins with amused eyes. "You two are basically toddlers in adult bodies."
"And you're just jealous you don't have a sibling this cool," Zane winked, sliding another fry into his mouth.
Luna stuck out her tongue. "Don't feed his ego, Asher. It's already overweight."
