But Aria? She was a glitch in his system.
It started small. Her laugh echoing in the student library. The way her green eyes narrowed whenever she challenged him in class debates. How she wasn't fazed by his last name or his reputation. And that one afternoon when she called him out for being an "emotionally unavailable golden boy with a superiority complex."
Zane had blinked, and then smirked. No one ever talked to him like that. No one, except Luna. And now, apparently, Aria.
Today, they were paired for a business strategy project. He had planned on doing all the work himself, it was easier that way. But Aria was no spectator.
