Talia stood frozen in place, staring at the message on her phone.
"You were never meant to be a Wolfe."
The weight of those words crashed down on her chest like a cinder block. Her fingers trembled, her heartbeat pounding so loudly in her ears she almost didn't register Ethan calling her name.
"Talia," he said more firmly now, stepping toward her. "What did he send?"
She turned the screen toward him, her jaw clenched tight, her voice a hoarse whisper. "He marked out my entire collection… everything I've worked for."
Ethan's expression darkened instantly, his jaw locking. "He's not just targeting me anymore. He's coming after your identity."
Mia took one look at the screen and hissed. "That's not just a threat, that's psychological warfare. He wants to erase her."
Elijah appeared from the hallway, face tense. "We cleared the east wing. Glass was shattered deliberately, but no intruder was found. Security footage was wiped from inside the system. This guy's a ghost."
