The sudden, scorching heat of Li Hao's arousal against Yu Han's rear was a jolted Yu Han . It tore through the fragile composure Yu Han had tried to maintain, stealing the last vestiges of his earlier bravado.
"Li… Li Hao… you can't do this…" Yu Han whimpered, the words barely a breath.
All his defiant pronouncements, his reckless words, now felt like a cruel joke, echoing hollowly in his own ears. A white-hot panic flared, threatening to consume him.
"I am absolutely insane. I shouldn't have said anything," Yu Han's mind screamed, his every nerve ending tingling with a terrifying regret.
He had only fueled the smoldering fire within Li Hao, a conflagration that had been building for two long years, ignited by a potent mix of obsession and unspoken desire.
Now, Li Hao was perched over him, a predator poised, his voice low and possessive.
"Be a good boy and be mine," Li Hao ordered, the command a silken threat as he settled his weight more firmly on Yu Han's back.
At this point, Yu Han's frantic mind clicked into a different gear.
"If I resist more, it will only fuel Li Hao."
His protests, he realized with a sickening lurch, were utterly useless. He needed a new strategy, something beyond mere words. A desperate thought sparked.
Without a moment's hesitation, Yu Han forced his eyes to well up, blurring the edges of his vision.
"Fuck, this is so cringe… why would he stop seeing me in tears? He just wants to fuck me anyways…" Despite the cynical self-talk, the tears began to flow, real now, hot tracks down his temples as he buried his face deeper into the pillow beneath him.
Li Hao, sensing the shift, gently pulled Yu Han's head up from the pillow. He leaned forward, intent on capturing those soft, delicious lips he'd craved for so long.
Yu Han was still lying on his stomach, vulnerable, but Li Hao carefully turned his head for a better angle, a tenderness at odds with his previous aggression. Yu Han didn't protest this time, utterly still and yielding.
Li Hao's lips descended, fierce and hungry, demanding a response.
But as their mouths met, he felt something unexpected, a cold, distinct wetness. He immediately stiffened, pulling back slightly.
"Tears? Yu Han? Are you… crying?" Li Hao's voice, which had been rough with desire moments before, softened, laced with a bewildered concern.
Yu Han turned his head away, choking back a sob. His voice, when it came, was hoarse, raspy from the effort of feigning despair and the genuine fear beneath it.
"You can… you can do whatever you want. Just… I won't utter a word."
"Fuck! I really went too far. I'm such an idiot,"
Li Hao chastised himself internally, a sudden wave of shame washing over him.
The sight of Yu Han's tears, the raw resignation in his voice, instantly cooled the burning heat in his loins, replacing it with a sickening ache of regret.
He immediately loosened his grip, rolling off Yu Han and lying beside him on the bed. Yu Han remained on his stomach, his face still turned away, his shoulders shaking with silent sobs.
"Huh? Did… did he really back off?" Yu Han thought, a flicker of amusement, disbelieving and almost giddy, piercing through his manufactured despair.
Just moments ago, he had been certain he was about to be fucked.
Li Hao, now with a tremor in his hands, quickly pulled his underwear back on, then his pants.
He moved closer to Yu Han, hesitant, no longer imposing, but gentle. He reached out and lightly tapped the back of Yu Han's head.
"Yu Han," he said, his voice soft, almost coaxing a shy child. "Please… please look at me."
"No… I'll never face you again," Yu Han mumbled, his voice muffled by the pillow, yet sharp with a feigned indignation. "Please, just get lost from my room right now."
Li Hao's heart twisted. He couldn't bear to see Yu Han like this, sobbing, his small body trembling. This was all his fault, his selfish actions.
He reached out, gently turning Yu Han onto his side, then pulled him into a tender embrace, resting his chin on Yu Han's shoulder, holding him close but not restrictively.
"Yu Han, you were right. I'm a fucking asshole," Li Hao murmured into his hair, his voice thick with genuine remorse. "Please forgive me. I… I swear I'll never touch you again without your explicit permission."
Yu Han, slightly startled by the unexpected apology and the unexpected softness, slowly turned his head just enough to glimpse Li Hao from the corner of his eye.
"You are currently touching me without my permission," he pointed out, his voice still shaky, but a hint of his usual sharpness returning.
Li Hao chuckled, a small, pained sound. "This is an exception, alright? A non-threatening, purely apologetic one."
"Just get lost from here," Yu Han repeated, though his body language had softened, leaning into the warmth of Li Hao's embrace.
Yu Han's head was now resting on Li Hao's arm. Li Hao gently pushed himself up slightly, his other hand supporting his weight, his body curving protectively around Yu Han.
He leaned closer, his face mere inches from Yu Han's, his heart beating a frantic rhythm against his ribs as he felt Yu Han's soft breaths on his cheek.
"Yu Han," he began again, his voice barely a whisper, thick with unacknowledged emotion.
"I… I love you. I love you so much, Yu Han."
The words, so raw and unexpected, reached Yu Han's ears, piercing through his carefully constructed defenses. His eyes widened in absolute shock, his planned performance momentarily forgotten.
"What! Did I… did I hear something wrong?" he asked, disbelief coloring every syllable.
Li Hao looked directly into his eyes, his own shining with an earnestness Yu Han had never seen.
"Yu Han, I said I love you so much! More than anything."
Automatically, as if to test reality, Yu Han reached out and pinched Li Hao's cheek. Hard.
"Ouch!" Li Hao whimpered, rubbing the spot.
"It's not a dream, Li Hao," Yu Han said, the words slipping out in a daze of disbelief. It was simply incomprehensible to him that Li Hao, the powerful, heartless CEO of a massive company, was confessing such profound feelings to someone like him – a struggling, ordinary boy.
He immediately pushed Li Hao away, scrambling to sit upright, turning to face him fully.
"Li Hao, are you drunk? What are you even saying? You love me? Stop lying!"
Li Hao reached out, taking Yu Han's hands gently, his gaze unwavering. He brought one of Yu Han's hands to his lips, reverently kissing the back of it.
"Yu Han, I'm fucking serious. I love you," he insisted, his voice unwavering,
"I want to spend my whole life with you. I can't live without you."
Yu Han pulled his hand away from Li Hao's grasp, the weight of the words pressing down on him. Tears, this time real and unstoppable, slipped down his cheeks. His heart felt heavy, so heavy he thought his chest might collapse.
"How could someone love me? He… he even wants to spend his whole life with me? With me?"
The idea was so foreign, so overwhelming, it shattered his carefully constructed cynicism. He looked up, searching Li Hao's eyes for any sign of deception, but found only profound earnestness.
"We can't live together," Yu Han said, the words heavy with a lifetime of self-doubt.
"Why can't we live together, Yu Han? Just because we are guys?" Li Hao asked, his voice firm, reaching out to grasp Yu Han's shoulders, holding him steady.
Yu Han shook his head, looking away. "It's just not possible… look at us. We… we are from different worlds."
"What type of 'different worlds' are you referring to, Yu Han?" Li Hao pressed, his grip gentle but insistent.
"Our social status," Yu Han answered, pain lacing his voice.
"Social status? Huh? Do you think I care about that? About your perceived lack of wealth or position?" Li Hao countered, a hint of frustration in his tone.
"That's not a valid reason to reject me." Yu Han, in a sudden burst of emotion, punched Li Hao lightly on the chest.
"You are fucking loaded, that's the reason!" he yelled, tears blurring his vision again.
Li Hao caught his hand, holding it tight. "Then what if I leave everything? My position… my office… my house… everything I have? If I gave it all up and came to you, would you accept me then?"
Yu Han stared, utterly stunned. This man, so composed and powerful, was truly whipped, completely undone by his supposed love for Yu Han.
"You are really insane, Li Hao," Yu Han gasped, shaking his head. "What about your reputation? If people got to know you are dating a man? Huh? That you gave everything up for one?"
"I fucking don't care about other's opinions!" Li Hao declared, his voice rising, raw with emotion.
"I only care about you. I couldn't give a damn if the whole world turned against me. If I have you on my side, I can deal with anything!"
"Li Hao, you are going to be married to Yuna! What will you tell her?" Yu Han pleaded, clinging to the last threads of his resistance.
"I don't even care about her," Li Hao retorted, his voice strained.
"She means nothing. I just want you, Yu Han. I freaking love you."
Tears, real this time, welled in Li Hao's eyes too, blurring his vision as he contemplated a life without Yu Han. The thought was unbearable.
Now, with Li Hao's raw, tear-filled confession hanging in the air, it became infinitely more difficult for Yu Han to hide his own long-buried feelings.
The dam broke. He leaned closer to Li Hao, resting his head on Li Hao's arm, then wrapped his arms around him, burying his face into the crook of Li Hao's neck, letting out a deep, shuddering breath.
Li Hao immediately hugged him back, fiercely, tightly, as if to meld their bodies into one, leaving no space for doubt or air.
"I am waiting for your answer, Yu Han," Li Hao whispered, his voice hoarse against Yu Han's ear.
"If you accept me, I promise you I'll never… never leave you alone or hurt you… and even I'll never kiss you without your permission. Just please accept me… please, I'm begging you."
Yu Han lifted his head, his eyes still damp, meeting Li Hao's gaze. He leaned in, his lips brushing Li Hao's forehead in a soft, tender kiss. Their eyes met, deep and soulful, like vast oceans reflecting each other's depths.
"I love you too,"
Yu Han finally whispered, the words a gentle release, a surrender to a love he had never dared to believe in.
