Chapter 28 - Ch-28 Two reasons of death

The hushed hospital room, usually a sanctuary of quiet, now hummed with a different kind of energy.

Li Hao, only moments ago a teasing, naked menace, was a whirlwind of focused, corporate intensity. He sat propped against the lavish sofa , a makeshift office sprawling across the pristine sofa and the small table.

His phone was glued to his ear, his fingers flying across the laptop keyboard, occasionally pausing to scrawl a signature on a document he'd plucked from a neat stack.

Yu Han watched him, utterly bewildered.

"How could a person transform so completely, so swiftly?" A minute earlier, Li Hao had been standing, bare and unashamed, a predatory smirk on his face as he'd taunted Yu Han. Now, he was the picture of a CEO in full command, his jaw set, his brow furrowed in concentration.

It was like watching a chameleon change its entire skin, its entire being, in a blink.

Yu Han, whose phone was undoubtedly lost in the chaos of his accident, found his only source of entertainment in observing Li Hao. When not enthralled by the man's antics, he simply took long, restorative naps.

The digital clock on the wall glowed past midnight. Finally, Li Hao concluded his last call with a terse "Get it done first thing."

He then began a meticulous collection of his scattered items – documents from the floor, his laptop from the sofa, his phone from the table. Within minutes, the area around him was spotless, a testament to his orderly nature even after a day of chaos.

"Right," Li Hao announced, stretching his arms above his head, a faint crackle of joints audible in the quiet room.

He walked towards Yu Han's hospital bed. Without a second thought, he simply lay down beside him, making himself comfortable.

Yu Han, who had been on the verge of drifting off, instantly fluttered his eyes open. He stared at the man beside him, his mind momentarily blank.

"What… what are you doing on my bed??" he finally managed to ask, his voice a bewildered whisper.

Li Hao shifted, adjusting a pillow. "To sleep, or what?" he replied casually, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"What?!" Yu Han pushed himself up slightly, his bandaged leg protesting. "How can you sleep with a patient?!"

Li Hao smirked, his eyes glinting in the dim light.

"Last night you were in my embrace the whole night, weren't you? And look at you now, complaining, huh?"

Yu Han's face flushed crimson. "No way! You can't sleep here!" He gestured wildly towards the pristine sofa now. "Go there!"

Li Hao sighed dramatically. "I can't sleep on the sofa; my back hurts. You know." He offered a completely unconvincing shrug.

Yu Han groaned internally. This beast. He had no other option but to endure. He reluctantly lay back down, trying to put as much distance as possible between them, though the hospital bed offered precious little space.

It was deep winter, and the nights were especially cold. And with the cold came another problem.

Yu Han's bladder began to make its demands known. Usually, a nurse would help him, but it was late, and he didn't want to trouble anyone.

He tried to control the urge, clenching, but his whole body broke out in goosebumps.

The other problem, a very warm, very solid problem, was lying right beside him – Li Hao. Yu Han tossed sporadically, trying to find a position that would alleviate the pressure, even attempting to push himself up, but his injured leg and weakened body betrayed him.

Sensing the constant movement, Li Hao's eyes cracked open. He reached out and gently but firmly grabbed Yu Han's shoulder.

"What's wrong, Yu Han?" he asked, his voice unexpectedly serious, sleep still thick around the edges but concern already sharpening it. "Is your leg paining again?"

Yu Han looked into Li Hao's eyes, his own wide and full of a desperate, embarrassed plea. It was becoming increasingly impossible to control his bladder.

He hated the words that had to come out of his mouth, but he was helpless. "I… I need to use the toilet," he mumbled, his voice barely audible.

Li Hao didn't flinch, didn't mock, didn't even comment. He just pushed himself up.

"Okay, wait."

Getting off the bed, he scooped Yu Han up with both hands, gently but firmly, taking care not to jostle his injured leg. He carried him towards the small attached bathroom.

Once inside, Li Hao lowered Yu Han slightly, reaching for the waistband of his pajama pants.

"No! I can do it myself!" Yu Han protested, his face already burning. But as he tried to maneuver his hands, his body simply wouldn't cooperate. His hands fumbled, and his leg buckled slightly.

"See?" Li Hao said, a hint of exasperation in his voice, but a gentle touch as he took over.

He pulled down Yu Han's pajama pants, not caring about Yu Han's mortified expression. Then, with a practiced ease, he moved to his underwear. Yu Han was still half-suspended in Li Hao's embrace, his protests entirely futile.

And then it happened. Yu Han's 'little Yu' was in the grasp of Li Hao, who carefully aimed it towards the toilet bowl.

"Pee," Li Hao instructed softly, almost like coaxing a child.

Yu Han's face was a furious, blistering red, not from anger, but from sheer, overwhelming shyness.

He wanted the floor to swallow him whole, to disappear into the porcelain. But Li Hao was stronger, more determined, and Yu Han simply couldn't stop the inevitable.

He peed, fully exposed, under the gaze of another man. He had never felt such a profound level of humiliation in his entire life. He was peeing in front of a man.

For Li Hao, however, it seemed utterly normal; he felt no awkwardness, only a curious, almost possessive satisfaction.

His eyes lingered for a moment, and in his mind, he made a quick, mental comparison of their sizes. A wave of relief, coupled with a surge of ego, washed over him as he concluded that Yu Han's was indeed somewhat smaller than his own 'giant cock.'

After this act, which for Yu Han was a nightmare of humiliation and for Li Hao, a strangely pleasurable, intimate moment, Li Hao gently and carefully positioned Yu Han back on the bed.

The moment his head hit the pillow, Yu Han immediately buried his face into it, wanting nothing more than to erase the last five minutes from existence.

Li Hao's feelings, watching this, were overwhelming. Seeing such a cute, flustered scene in front of his eyes, his heart expanded, a possessive warmth spreading through him.

He just wanted to pull Yu Han into his embrance, to kiss him until he was breathless, to tease him, to play with him… and, a very potent, very primal part of him stirred with the urge to fuck him till he couldn't think straight.

On the other hand, Yu Han couldn't even face Li Hao. This was a goddamn humiliation, a stark invasion of his most private self.

Then, a soft chuckle escaped Li Hao's lips. He reached out and gently caressed the back of Yu Han's head, stroking his hair.

Yu Han, drawn by the unexpected tenderness, slowly lifted his head, his gaze drifting hesitantly towards Li Hao, who was smiling. Yu Han sighed, a long, shaky breath, and then, as if by instinct, he tried to burrow his face into the soft pillow again.

Li Hao acted swiftly, though gently. He lifted Yu Han's head with both hands, forcing him to meet his gaze. "Why are you feeling so shy in front of me?" His voice was a low, teasing murmur. "It's just me."

Yu Han looked away, his cheeks still fiery red. "I… I just…" He stammered, unable to form a coherent explanation for the mortifying combination of exposure and vulnerability he felt.

Li Hao leaned in slightly, his eyes sparkling mischievously. "Did you act like this way in front of other guys also? Like, if a nurse helped you? Or is it just me that makes you blush like a peach?"

"N-no," Yu Han whispered, his voice muffled, still not quite looking at Li Hao. "I… they usually just… they just leave the room."

A soft, knowing laugh escaped Li Hao. "See? So it is just me. And you still haven't told me why." Yu Han remained stubbornly silent, his eyes darting around the room, anywhere but Li Hao's face.

Li Hao's expression softened momentarily, then took on a more serious, though still playful, edge.

"Yu Han," he said, holding his gaze firmly. "If you hide your face in that pillow again, you'll be dead by morning."

Yu Han's eyes widened, a flicker of genuine fear mixing with his embarrassment. He looked at Li Hao, confused by the abrupt shift in tone.

Li Hao leaned closer, his voice dropping to a low, intimate rumble. He gently pulled the pillow a little further from Yu Han's flushed face, illustrating his point.

"First reason," he began, his expression surprisingly serious,

"you're going to suffocate yourself. You're covering your mouth and nose. I don't want to find my patient blue and breathless in the morning."

He paused, letting the genuine concern in his voice sink in.

Then, his eyes darkened, a predatory glint entering them, as his other hand subtly, almost imperceptibly, brushed against Yu Han's hip.

"And the other reason..." His voice deepened, becoming a low growl, almost a purr that vibrated through Yu Han.

"...if you keep acting so irresistibly adorable, burying your face like a shy little bird, I won't be able to control myself. I'll be so overwhelmed watching you, so tempted to pull you even closer, to kiss you until you can't breathe, to tease you until you beg... I might just forget we're in a hospital, and then, my dear Yu Han, you'll be absolutely fucked to death by morning. And not necessarily in the way you'd want if you suffocated."

Yu Han's eyes widened to impossible saucers, a sharp gasp escaping his lips. His face, if possible, turned an even deeper shade of crimson, a raw heat spreading through him. He understood the implications of the second 'reason' all too well, and he tried to pull away slightly, a whimper catching in his throat.

Li Hao held his gaze, a possessive, triumphant smirk playing on his lips.

"So," he finished, his voice laced with challenge, "which death do you prefer? Because if you keep provoking me with that cute, flushed face, the second one is looking increasingly likely."
