Li Hao's anger boiled over as he strode towards room where Yu Han was kept.
He burst in, his eyes blazing with fury, and grabbed Yu Han from his collar. Yu Han who was lying on the floor in semi unconscious state still disoriented, struggled to free himself as Li Hao's grip tightened.
"What are you doing??...leave me..." Yu Han was in pain but still protested.
"I thought you were only an innocent individual, but you are just a cunning fox. Playing games with me huh." Li Hao spat, his voice venomous.
"You think you can get away with it? You're the reason Mr. Korn cancelled our deal! You know how much I'm suffering right now."
Yu Han's eyes fluttered open, and he tried to defend himself, but Li Hao's grip was relentless. Li Hao's fists flew, landing punches on Yu Han's battered body.
"Ughhhhh..."Yu Han groaned, trying to protect himself, but Li Hao's rage only intensified.
After a few moments of brutal violence, Li Hao dragged Yu Han to the other room,
"Ouchh.. my neck hurts..." Yu Han was panting with intensified pain.
He dragged Yu Han to the other room where Yang Zi was being held captive. Yang Zi's eyes widened in horror as he saw Yu Han's battered state.
Yang Zi's eyes blazed with fury as he watched Yu Han's battered state.
"You monster!" he shouted at Li Hao, his voice trembling with rage. "How could you do this to him? Why are you doing this to us?? We didn't do anything wrong?? We are just normal people. Leave us alone!!!"
Just as Li Hao was about to retaliate, his secretary, Gang Zi, burst into the room. "Mr. Li, I'm sorry to interrupt, but there's something urgent that requires your attention," Gang Zi said, his voice low and serious.
Li Hao's expression darkened, but he seemed to hesitate. "What is it?" he growled, clearly irritated at the interruption.
"It's about the deal with Mr. Korn," Gang Zi replied, his voice barely above a whisper. "There's been a development that you need to be aware of."
Li Hao's eyes narrowed, but he seemed to consider Gang Zi's words. With a final glance at Yu Han and Yang Zi, he turned and followed Gang Zi out of the room, leaving Yang Zi to tend to Yu Han's wounds.
As the door closed behind Li Hao, Yang Zi rushed to Yu Han's side, her face etched with concern. "Yu Han, are you okay?" he asked, gently touching his bruised face.
Yu Han winced in pain, but managed a weak smile.
"I'm...I'm fine," he whispered, his voice hoarse from the beating.
Gang Zi's words hit Li Hao like a ton of bricks. "What do you mean my father talked to Mr. Korn?" Li Hao demanded, his voice rising in anger and confusion.
Gang Zi's expression was grim. "Yes, Mr. Li. It seems that your father intervened and spoke with Mr. Korn. But the reason Mr. Korn cancelled the deal was because of Shi Wang's blackmail. Shi Wang threatened to take over the Thailand business unless Mr. Korn backed out of the deal with us."
Li Hao's face turned red with rage. "I already knew that!" he spat. "And what did my father say to Mr. Korn?"
Gang Zi hesitated before speaking. "Your father assured Mr. Korn that he would handle Shi Wang and convince him to sign the deal. But Mr. Korn is only willing to proceed if Shi Wang agrees to it."
Li Hao's anger turned to shock and then to calculation. He realized that his father's intervention might be more complex than he initially thought. He began to wonder what his father's true intentions were and how he could use this information to his advantage.
Li Hao was drawn into his thoughts, when Gang Zi again opened his mouth,"There's some more things I want to tell you sir"
Gang Zi's words painted a different picture for Li Hao.
"Continue," Li Hao said, his voice softer now, as he processed the new information.
Gang Zi went on, "Yu Han's background check revealed that he's an orphan who was taken care of by Yang Zi's family. There's no indication that he's involved in any deceitful activities. As for the note, it's likely that the man who was shot at the store wrote it and slipped it into Yu Han's pocket, knowing he wouldn't survive. This changes everything, Mr. Li."
Li Hao's eyes widened as the truth dawned on him.
Gang Zi nodded. "It seems that way, sir. Shi Wang's actions were calculated to manipulate you , he may be diverting you from something more important."
Li Hao's face twisted in a mix of emotions – regret, anger, and determination. He left Gang Zi alone without saying any words.
*Atleast you can praise me a little, I turned the mountain upside down since night and look what i have got- a cold look, fuckk!!* Gang Zi.
The scene unfolded with Li Hao entering the room, his demeanor a mix of guilt and anger. He approached Yu Han and took out an ointment from his pocket and began applying the ointment to his bruised face, causing Yu Han to wince in pain.
"What the fuck are you doing this to him??"Yang Zi frowned in anger, but when he saw that Li Hao is actually applying ointment to Yu han's bruised face , he asked Li Hao to give him the ointment so he could tend to Yu Han's wounds, but Li Hao ignored him, his cold gaze silencing his objections.
As Li Hao continued to apply the ointment, Yu Han turned his face away, but Li Hao grasped his chin, forcing him to meet his gaze. Their eyes met intimately .Yu Han struggled, trying to move his face away, but Li Hao's grip was firm. Li Hao leaned in close near Yu Han's ears, his voice low and menacing,
"You know what I hate the most" Yu Han again tried to divert his gaze from Li Hao's face, but Li Hao tightened his grip, and said
"ORPHANS".
"They are like parasites, who clings to others for their survival, but deep down they are just taking advantages."
The words hung in the air, filled with venom and hatred. Yu Han's eyes widened, shocked by Li Hao's words.
Yang Zi's eyes flashed with anger, but he remained frozen, unsure of how to react.
Li Hao's actions seemed driven by a deep-seated resentment, and his words revealed a painful truth about his past. The scene was charged with tension, leaving many questions unanswered.
Yu Han's eyes welled up with tears as Li Hao's words struck a chord deep within him. The pain and hurt from his past came flooding back, and he felt vulnerable and exposed. As Li Hao turned to leave, Yu Han's gaze followed him, his eyes filled with a mix of sadness and hurt.
Li Hao's parting words, "You can go now, you're of no use to me," cut deep into Yu Han's heart. As Li Hao walked out of the room, Yu Han's tears finally broke free, and he let out a sob.
Yang Zi rushed to Yu Han's side, concern etched on his face. "Yu Han, I'm so sorry," he said, trying to comfort him. Yu Han shook his head, unable to speak, as he struggled to process the emotions that had been unleashed.
The door closed behind Li Hao, leaving Yu Han and Yang Zi alone in the room. The silence was oppressive, punctuated only by Yu Han's ragged breathing.
As the guard handed them their mobile phones and instructed them to leave, Yu Han and Yang Zi exchanged a bewildered glance. The sudden turn of events left them both stunned and unsure of what to do next.
Yang Zi quickly grabbed his phone and checked for any messages or contacts that might help them understand what was happening. Yu Han, still wincing in pain from the bruises on his face, slowly stood up, his eyes fixed on the phone in his hand.
"Let's get out of here first," Yang Zi whispered, his voice laced with caution. "We can figure out what's going on once we're safe."
Yu Han nodded, still trying to process the mix of emotions that had surfaced during Li Hao's unexpected display of tenderness and hatred. As they followed the guard out of the room, Yu Han couldn't shake off the feeling that Li Hao's actions were driven by a complex web of emotions and motivations that were yet to be revealed.
