Chapter 7 - The Fractured Eye

Adam floats above the world.

Not metaphorically.

Literally.

His body no longer obeys gravity. His cursed energy has evolved into something else—Divine Flow, a current that bends space and time around him. The Six Eyes, now infused with the Hollow Pantheon's power, allow him to see not just cursed energy, but possibility.

He rewrites a village's fate.

A plague vanishes.

He rewrites a battlefield.

The dead rise, unscarred.

He rewrites a memory.

A girl smiles again.

But something's wrong.

The Six Eyes begin to flicker.

Not all the time.

Just… when he rewrites too much.

He consults the Sutra.

It warns him: "Divinity is not infinite. Each rewrite fractures the Eye."

Adam realizes he's burning through his godhood like a candle—bright, fast, and doomed to melt.

He seeks answers in the Library of Echoes, a hidden realm where every sorcerer's final thought is recorded. There, he meets the echo of Satoru Gojo.

Gojo smiles.

"You're doing what I couldn't. But you're forgetting what I never did—limits."

Adam asks how to fix the Six Eyes.

Gojo replies: "You don't. You evolve."

To evolve, Adam must forge a new eye—not inherited, not stolen, but born from his own soul.

He begins the ritual.

It requires sacrifice.

He must give up one truth he holds sacred.

He chooses: "I am alone."

The moment he lets go, the fractured Six Eyes shatter—and reform.

A new eye opens.

Not blue.

Not red.

Silver.

The Seventh Eye.

It sees intention.

Now, Adam can rewrite not just events, but motivations. He turns hatred into compassion. Greed into generosity. Violence into peace.

But the Seventh Eye comes with a curse.

Every time he rewrites someone's heart, he loses a piece of his own.

He begins to forget his name.

His past.

His purpose.

Until one day, a child calls out:

"Adam! You saved us!"

And the name anchors him.

He smiles.

He remembers.

He is Adam Taity.

The Cursed Lord.

The God of Rewrite.
