Chapter 21 - Humanity's Strongest Martial Arts Genius vs. The Millennia-Old Veteran

"Mo Wang wants to fight the Class Monitor?" Mei covered her mouth in astonishment as she watched them.

Next to her, Bronya was equally incredulous.

Mo Wang had just fought Kiana, and now he was immediately moving on to spar with Fu Hua.

Since when had Mo Wang become so confident?

The students of St. Freya knew exactly what Fu Hua was capable of.

Even without revealing her full strength, Fu Hua was unquestionably the strongest student in the school.

And what happened when you sparred with Fu Hua... a certain white-haired girl who had challenged her right after enrolling, only to get thoroughly thrashed, had a lot to say about that.

But unlike Mei and Bronya, who were completely unaware of what Mo Wang had done yesterday, Kiana was now staring intently at the two of them.

"The Class Monitor and Mo Wang, huh? I have a feeling... that guy Mo Wang might actually win."

Kiana pondered this.

While Fu Hua was certainly strong, Mo Wang was no slouch either.

After their last fight, Kiana already felt that she was no match for Mo Wang at all.

The feeling of being unable to land a hit, and the lingering pain from a single blow, had left a deep impression on her.

Not to mention, yesterday Mo Wang had completely steamrolled the corrupted Bronya and even used the Judgment of Shamash.

In comparison, while Fu Hua was strong, the power she currently displayed hadn't pushed Kiana to the point of despair.

Therefore, Kiana actually thought Mo Wang had a better chance of winning.

"Oh? You want to spar? It seems you've become quite confident after your recent power-up, Mo Wang."

Fu Hua's interest was piqued when she heard Mo Wang's challenge.

In fact, she had started paying attention to the suddenly powerful Mo Wang since yesterday.

"So? Surely Teacher Fu Hua won't refuse me, right?" Mo Wang said to Fu Hua with a smile.

"Of course not. But if you're going to fight me, will you be using a weapon? That could be a little dangerous," Fu Hua said with a smile.

"No. This time, we'll fight hand-to-hand. We won't need anything like weapons."

"Oh?" Seeing Mo Wang's confident reply, Fu Hua grew even more interested.

From what she had seen of his fighting style yesterday, he seemed to prefer using various weapons and different combat styles to overwhelm his opponents.

But now, Mo Wang was actually giving up his greatest advantage to fight her hand-to-hand, which was her greatest strength. (Although, to be fair, the immortal had mastered all weapons.jpg)

This only made her more curious about the strength Mo Wang was hiding.

"In that case, let's give it a try, Mo Wang," Fu Hua said, assuming a fighting stance and inviting him to begin.

"I won't disappoint you, Immortal Fu Hua."

The two of them adopted fighting stances, and the crowd of onlookers stared, wide-eyed, as they faced each other, neither willing to back down.

Fu Hua moved first.

In an instant, her fist shot towards Mo Wang like a meteor streaking across the night sky. The wind howled, and the air around her crackled, sending a tremor through the ground.

Mo Wang caught the movement out of the corner of his eye, swiftly turning his head to narrowly dodge the blow, his heart pounding.

The force of Fu Hua's missed punch was immense, seeming to tear the very air apart and creating a deafening sonic boom.

In that same instant, Mo Wang's hand shot out like lightning and grabbed Fu Hua's arm, startling her. Then, he channeled all his strength into a throw, sending Fu Hua flying.

Fu Hua felt an irresistible force and was helplessly flung towards the ground. The next moment, a dull thud echoed through the air, and even the ground trembled.

However, the experienced Fu Hua didn't let herself be put on the defensive.

The moment she hit the ground, she quickly performed a backflip and landed steadily on her feet, instantly recovering her stance.

But just as she stabilized herself, Mo Wang charged at her like a cheetah, the ground seeming to tremble beneath his feet.

Mo Wang leaped lightly into the air, his right leg swinging in an arc as he delivered a merciless dragon's tail kick to Fu Hua's side.

Fu Hua quickly raised her arms to block, crossing her palms to deflect the powerful kick.

With a muffled thud, she was forced back two steps.

But Mo Wang's attacks were far from over.

Low kick, medium punch, standing heavy punch, hurricane kick—a relentless barrage of attacks descended upon Fu Hua. The Kyokugen Karate passed down from Ken was unleashed in his hands, actually forcing Fu Hua into a steady retreat.

"The Class Monitor... is being pushed back?!"

Kiana and the others watched Fu Hua's retreat, their mouths agape.

They could hardly believe what they were seeing.

Since when had Mo Wang become so skilled in hand-to-hand combat?

However, after Mo Wang's continuous assault, Fu Hua began to adapt to his offensive rhythm.

"Shoryureppa!" Realizing Fu Hua had adjusted to his moves, Mo Wang gritted his teeth and unleashed Ken's super move.

But even this powerful attack was dodged by Fu Hua.

And in the instant Mo Wang was recovering from his move, Fu Hua's fist shot out.

In that split second, Mo Wang only had time to block with his arm. The next moment, he was sent flying backward.

"That's some crazy power. You really don't hold back, do you, Immortal?"

Mo Wang, who had stumbled back a few steps after landing, said to Fu Hua with a grin.

That last punch had hit his arm, completely numbing it.

Even now, he could see it trembling slightly.

"Holding back in a spar isn't my style. Or are you planning to surrender?" Fu Hua asked with a smile.

"Never! Today, I'm going to fight to my heart's content!"

In that instant, Mo Wang shot forward again.

This time, however, he didn't use Kyokugen Karate. Instead, he switched to Manon's ancient pankration.

His fist shot out like a short sword, straight for Fu Hua.

"Interesting."

Seeing Mo Wang switch his fighting style, Fu Hua's fighting spirit soared even higher.

However, she soon discovered that Mo Wang's repertoire was far from exhausted.

Kickboxing, wrestling, karate, and even drunken fist and Wing Chun were all unleashed by Mo Wang in succession.

Every time Fu Hua was about to adapt to Mo Wang's rhythm, he would unhesitatingly switch his style.

Fu Hua had never seen so many different styles from different countries and schools displayed by a single person.

And Mo Wang could freely switch between them, even weaving them together.

(At his age, how did he do it? Could he be... a martial arts genius?)

After being hit by another one of Mo Wang's punches and taking a few steps back, Fu Hua couldn't help but wonder.

"It seems... I won't be able to win this without getting serious."

Fu Hua, now getting into it, finally decided to stop holding back.

"Is it coming? Could it be... Inch-Force: Cleave the Heavens?"

Mo Wang saw Fu Hua's stance and immediately recognized her most famous ultimate move. His expression instantly turned serious.

And sure enough, Fu Hua took a deep breath, and the next moment, her fist shot towards Mo Wang like a meteor.

The sheer power of this blow surpassed the limits of an A-rank Valkyrie.

However, faced with this incredibly powerful attack, Mo Wang simply adopted a defensive stance.

To the astonishment of the many Valkyries watching, only a very few noticed that Mo Wang's body was now enveloped in a layer of blue energy.
