Chapter 11 - Jumped Into The Sea

Han Ruochen ran as fast as she could. However, she was just a frail woman. With Meng Yunhan not giving her enough to eat and years of malnourishment, it didn't take long for a man to catch up to Han Ruochen. He caught her around the waist and tied her hands behind her waist.

"Boss, I caught her!"

Han Ruochen tried to shake off the man whose grip continued to tighten on her wrist.

"There is no point in trying to fight against us," a familiar voice spoke to her and Han Ruochen raised her head to look at Brother Deng. The man was still the same. A patch was covering his missing eye like a pirate, with a crew cut and tanned skin. A part of his upper lip was missing, which made him look even more hideous.

But Han Ruochen didn't feel scared when she saw Boss Deng; if anything, she felt unbridled rage. If not for the fact that she was aware of her strength, she would have rushed forward to fight this bastard. If Yang Jianming was the one who ruined her life by pushing her into a fiery pit, Boss Deng was the one who added fuel to the burning flames.

Boss Deng was shocked when he saw the hatred in Han Ruochen's eyes; if not for the fact that he was sure that he had never met her before, he would have wondered what kind of grievances the two of them shared.

He shook off the thought and then said to Han Ruochen, "Little girl, you cannot run anymore. Listen to big brother, alright? If you act obediently, then I will let you go, okay?"

Han Ruochen didn't want to listen to a thing that Boss Deng was saying, but she had underestimated Yang Jianming's ruthlessness. No matter what, the two of them were still betrothed on the surface. Who would have thought that for the sake of making Han Ziyan happy, he would actually send so many thugs after her?

However, she calmed down and noticed her surroundings. The grove was silent, and from the eerie silence, she was quite clear that no one was coming in this direction. Han Ruochen knew that she could not fight against these many men, so she pursed her lips and asked, "What do you want from me?" She spoke in a timid voice as if she was really scared of the man in front of her, even though her heart was bursting with rage.

Boss Deng was satisfied when he heard her meek tone. He took out the paper that he was carrying in his pocket and said to her, "As long as you sign this paper, I will let you go, alright?" Yang Jianming had asked him to get Han Ruochen's signature on this paper at all costs; as for what he did with Han Ruochen, Yang Jianming didn't care.

So, of course, Boss Deng had no intention of letting Han Ruochen leave without having some fun.

This was something Han Ruochen knew as well. Back then, when Boss Deng had caught her, he tried to take advantage of her as well; if not for the fact that she was his cousin's wife, he wouldn't have held back!

Han Ruochen gritted her teeth with hatred, but she still nodded. Only then did Boss Deng tilt his head and allow his underling to let go of her.

Once her hands were freed, Han Ruochen slowly moved forward, but when Boss Deng was not looking, she took the knife that she had brought with her, and upon reaching the man, she stabbed him right in the neck.

"AHHHH!!" Boss Deng had not expected Han Ruochen to make such a move, nor did he think that the woman would have a knife with her.

Han Ruochen also didn't hold back. She had too many grievances with Boss Deng; thus, even though she didn't kill him, she did her utmost to make the man suffer.

As the man stumbled back, Han Ruochen didn't think. She just ran in the direction which felt safer to her.

"Catch her! Go and catch that bitch. I will teach her a lesson for messing with Laozi!" Boss Deng was furious. He was going to let the woman off after taking small leverage from her; after all, she was still the fiancée of his cousin, and he had no intention of cuckolding his cousin, but who would have thought that Han Ruochen would be this bold? She actually stabbed him.

Now he wasn't going to let her off unless she was begging him.

Han Ruochen ran without looking back, and the men, along with Boss Deng, chased after her. Soon, they arrived at the edge of the cliff and blocked Han Ruochen from running to the beach.

"Han Ruochen! You will dearly pay for this, you bitch!" Boss Deng shouted; his face was twisted in a malicious expression as he clasped the wound on his neck while glaring at Han Ruochen.

Han Ruochen had a cold expression. With the sea behind her, she looked at the bad guys who were trying to push her to the edge. She said with resentment, "The ones who will suffer are you and that cousin of yours! Tell Yang Jianming he had better hope that I die today, or else I will not let him off even if I become a ghost!"

After she finished speaking, she jumped into the sea without hesitation.

"Ah!" Boss Deng was stupefied. He never thought that Han Ruochen would be this cruel. For the sake of not transferring her job to her adopted sister, she actually chose to die!?

What was worse was that the woman actually knew about his connection with Yang Jianming. When Boss Deng thought of the threat that Han Ruochen gave him, his expression couldn't help but turn dark. He was worried that if Han Ruochen survived, then he and Yang Jianming, both of them, would suffer.

He turned to look at his underlings behind him and said to them, "Go and look for her. We cannot let her go. If she is alive, I need you to drag that bitch to me, and if she is dead, then you'd better bring her corpse. If she survives, then all of us will be in a big mess."
