Siya was thinking her question and larkin was waiting for her to ask.
"So larry ,you had stopped working as assassin around a year ago,am i right?" She asked.
"Yes" Larkin replied her.
Then siya asked " so how strong are you now in comparison to your those days when you were assassin? You would be weaker now."
Larkin thought for a while before replying,
" yes, after coming here i became so lazy, i kept myself isolated in my appartment and never trained myself properly. So i think so i have only 60 percent power left in me as compared to those days when I was assassin. It is huge difference,But don't worry,i hardly need a month to recover my self." Larkin said, he was not feeling good because of his huge downfall.
"What ?, really only 60 percent, it is so unbelievable that you are this much strong only with your 60 percent strength. I am wondering how strong you could be. " Siya was bit surprised by his declaration. Larkin's physical power was already more than any gold medalist athelete or any high ranked soldier,and he was saying her that it's just around 60 percent of his past potential ,which was really unbelievable for any human.
"This is not all about my strength or speed. There are more,my sharp reflexes and senses, my refined skills, endurance and durability has also decreased now. I need to recover them to. I don't think i can defeat someone like sura without having my full strength and skills."
Larkin said. He was aware of the threats which will come in front of them and he wanted to be prepared for that.
" So are we going to train now?" She asked curiously.
"Yes if we get time in India then we will focus on training and i know you want to be strong and fight with me but sorry,we don't have enough time so that i can make you able to fight properly. I will teach just few things by which you can defend yourself in our difficult situation or you can help me during big fights,is that clear?" He asked her.
He did not wanted siya to fight and get hurt.
Siya was not happy by that because she wanted to fight by his side and don't be burden on him,but she could not do anything in this so she agreed.
"Yes " she replied with disappointed and unhappy look.
"Hey,why are you sad? I didn't tell you to don't fight with me." Larkin tried to reassure her and a hopeful expression came on her face.
"Then what do you mean by that?" She asked him with hopeful curiousity in her tone.
She was eager to know what will be her role in this journey and there fights against sura and bounty hunter.
Larkin smiled and said"you have to protect me."
Siya got completely confused by his words and said "what,protect you..and me,how?" She asked him.
Larkin smiles a bit by her reaction.
" I will teach you how to use guns and i will make you a sniper. Your role will be to give me cover during my attacks and protect me during fights from those enemies whom i will not notice. Because it is my habit to go face to but sometimes it puts me in trouble because of hidden enemies or snipers. So there will be your role to save me in those situations,okay?" Larkin explained her role in this duo.
A hopeful smile appeared on siya's face and she understood that she also have important role in this journey ,she is not burden on him. Now finally she was completely happy.
"Okay,i will train and be a good allie for you." She said confidently.
Larkin smiled and encouraged her for that.
They had finished eating now and larkin had some unfinished business to do so he asked her.
"Do you have any other question now? "
"I have one last question,what was the most difficult situation or mission of your life?" She asked him curiously.
Larkin replied instantly "Rescue mission in 'Katari massacre'. That was most difficult situation of my life. There i had to protect civilians from those hundreds or thousands of mafia's gangsters, bounty hunters and even terrorists. I was confused that i should protect myself or civilians because enemies were everywhere. I started hunting then , i started killing every gangster, bounty hunters, terrorists and everyone who were involved in that chaos. That day my kills were count less for me . I don't think so any situation was there in my life which was even more worse than that for me." Larkin said her.
Siya was not surprised by that,she had already expected that answer by him
Katari massacre was really so terrible incident that even the government and media had tried to hide this from normal people of country.
After this much bloodshed and chaos still there are many people who don't know about it.
On that there are rarely few people including Larkin who knows that this all happened because of of sura.
Even till this date after more than 4 years world do not have proper information about that.
Those people who knows sura even a bit they say he is most powerful human on earth,his identity or existence is still mystery but he have huge impact on world.
Even larkin have fear of sura which shows how powerful he is.
Siya was now feeling bit sleepy after eating so she slept.
Larkin switched on the computer and tried to contact with his friends in India.
It was a difficult situation where they can't trust anyone completely but he has some people whom he trust.
The people whom he had saved or helped in his past days. He took few hours but successfully contacted with some of his friends in India who were ready help him.
His uncle,the old man entered in basement.
"Hye uncle,where you were gone?"
Larkin asked him.
" I got tickets for you but there's something else to." The old man said.
Larkin got bit confused" what is it?" He asked.
"You both are getting tickets secretly on your world assassin pass by central government,but on the name of a mission. Mission to find out and kill sura with evidencs." The old man replied.
"Hm, i had expected that, but ok i am also thinking the same thing." Larkin said.
Old man gave him tickets and said "You have to leave tomorrow in afternoon."
" Ok, that's great,at least it is secret so we can go safely."
The old man went from basement and now there journey to find out sura will be going to start from India.
