The next morning I woke up early, gave Lexi a kiss on her forehead. Then grabbed my bag then headed outside. After a few minutes I meet back up with Ian and the others who looked like they was waiting on me. We greeted each other and then headed out. I was excited to see site B and wonder how it would compare to site A. After a few boring hours we made it onto the boat and I decided to walk around to stretch my legs, then I heard a noise coming from one of the vehicles. I knew who it was Kelly Malcolm "Ian daughter". I opened the door to see her freeze in place while looking at me, causing me to chuckle. I didn't say a words as i plulled out the snacks for her, placed them down and then left quietly.
You might be wondering why I didn't rat her out because this is going to be dangerous. Welp that is sample I thought Kelly and Ian could spend some daughter Father Time and whats better then an island full of dinosaurs. I saw Ian trying to talk to the boatman as I walked up to them. Thinking about it for a second I leaned in and whispered "so this trip just got more exciting!" Ian looked at me with an eyebrow raised and asked what I meant but I didn't answer him. I want to watch the surprise on his face. I just kept walking away, then I saw Eddie checking on the vehicles so I went over to have a chat with him.
After a few minutes I found a quiet spot so I could check up on Lexi to see how she was doing. Only to find her on the compture having fun so I gave her a kiss and walked back out just in case someone came looking for me. Then waited another few more slow hours to pass. When the island came to view I went to the vehicle Kelly was in and got into the driver seat then said "So we are just about to arrive at our destination. Then we will go set up camp then go looking for Sarah that is on this island. We should be back before night fall. Yep that is the plan, now I wont forget it." I smiled as I saw Kelly nodding.
We found a place to set up camp, then I got out of the vehicle and waited for the rest to be done with their small task. After that we set off to go find Sarah using the tracking locator that Sarah had. Eddie kept looking around trying to spot a place to put the high hide at while Nick and Ian kept talking. Then we saw a herd of stegosaurus grazing causing Nick and Eddie to gaze in wonder as Ian said "Now it's all nice and wonder then later it's not fun and there is a lot of screaming and blood." Nick got alittle bit closer to take more pictures when we heard "Hey Nick!" I chuckled because Nick about fell down onto his ass. Sarah and Ian started talking about her not telling him she was coming out here. But I said "Look there is a baby over there." Pointing to a baby stegosaurs.
Ian gave me a look that kinda made me want to slap him but I didn't. Sarah ran off towards it to get a better picture of it. When she did the camera started rewinding to which scared the baby and when the baby cried all hell started breaking loose. The adults came charging at Sarah who was dodging tail strikes after tail strikes. She then crawled into a log as we watch another tail strike hit the log, then every thing seems to settle down as the stegosaurus started to leave. I have to say that was scary as fuck watching in real life and kinda amazing, but I can't understand how someone as badass as Sarah is with Ian.
Ian ran towards her after everything settle down to check if she was ok like a damn mother hen. After wards we started making out way back to camp listening to Ian and Sarah argue like school kids. On the way back me and Eddie notice smoke coming from the camp and smirk. We both yelled "Fire from the camp." We all ran back to camp, Nick and Eddie started to put out the fire as Ian said "who started the fire." I pointed behind him and said "Probably she did." Kelly looked alittle sheepish and said "I wanted to have dinner ready for when yall returned." Ian looked at me and asked "Did you know she was here?" Fuck yea I knew but I said "I saw her on the boat, and thought you knew she was here."
Ian let out a stream of curses then grabbed Kelly heading off towards one of the vehicles as Sarah followed along behind them. I started laughing loudly and said "Thought we was here to do a mission, and not have a family picnic." Which caused Nick and Eddie to chuckle. After a bit we heard helicopters, Ian and Kelly came out to look. As soon as Ian saw them he started waving at them. Thats when Eddie said "The side of the helicopter say Ingen." The other asked why Hammond would send two teams which I replied to "He didn't, that there is probably shitty Peter." Ian nodded his head and replied "Sounds like something he would do."
We moved to some cliffs to watch what Peter and his group was doing. We watched them herding and knocking out some dinosaurs of different species. Kelly asked if they was planning to open up a park here. And Ian said "Looks like they are planning to take them to the main land." To which I agreed with, then I looked back to Eddie and said "You need to go get the High hide ready, Ian take Kelly back to camp, Sarah and Nick yall need to go down and rescue the caged dinosaurs." Sarah asked what I would be doing and I replied "saving a baby Dino." They all agreed to the plan.
When night fell we watched Peter group set up camp. I whispered "It's time to move." We split apart, Nick and Sarah headed towards the camp and I went towards where the baby rex was being held down at. I arrived early I guess because it was quiet besides the baby rex making noise. After a few minutes of waiting I started hearing screams and explosions coming from their camp. I watch as two guys jump out of a tree and then start heading back to their camp. I quietly may my way over to the baby rex and release it then I heal it using the finger gun. After that I started heading back to our camp. When I get there I tell Ian to take Kelly to the high hide and stay the night there just in case.
