"Starfire, you are looking good," Nightwing said, holding her waist as they kissed, making me chuckle inside my head. Sorry, Nightwing, but I will end up claiming Starfire. I now have the strength to hold my own against you.
"Come in, I will explain the mission," Starfire said as we walked behind Nightwing and Starfire. God, damn that ass. We made it up to the top of the Tower as Raven, Beast Boy, A Robin with a katana must be Damian Wayne, Blue Beetle, Static, and Solstice(Kiran Singh).
"Okay, everyone, Nightwing, Supergirl, Batgirl, and their new team member, Sub-Zero, will be joining us on this mission to help Raven," Starfire said as I looked over at Raven, everyone's dark crush from my last life. She noticed me looking at her and pulled up her hood.
"So what's going on, Starfire?" Nightwing asked, making me run through thoughts. It must have something to do with Trigon. First Darkseid, now Trigon. I wonder how I would fare against him; probably around the same as I did with Darkseid. Probably a little worse depending on how strong he is right now.
Well, we will know once I use Super Sayain along with Shunko. Let's hope this goes well. "There is a cult trying to summon Trigon into this world, and we need to stop them," Raven said as I nodded and listened to their talk before Nightwing looked at me.
"How do you feel about fighting him? If push comes to shove." He said they had watched my fight with Darkseid, I take it. "I don't know, I have no idea where this Trigon stands compared to Darkseid. If he is around the same level of power-wise, I should be able to hold my own for a while. But winning is a whole other ball game. I didn't beat Darkseid. But I could hold him off if you want to send him back to where he came from." I explained.
"That will have to do, I want Sub-Zero to stall Trigon if he is summoned. Raven, can you work on a way to send him back while we keep you safe till you can do it?" Nightwing said as we all nodded.
"I can send him back if he is brought here, but it will take time. Can you fight him for ten minutes or so?" She said, looking at me. "I don't know if he is stronger than Darkseid by a wide margin, but I most likely will last five minutes, maybe ten minutes if I am lucky. If he isn't that much stronger than I could do ten minutes without a problem." I said to Raven.
"Very well, I hope you don't get killed." She said, making me shrug. "If I die, then it's worth it if it means the world is safe," I said, shocking her at my blatant disregard for my life. "Why don't you fear death?" She asked, making me think for a moment.
"I wouldn't say I don't fear death, I fear those I love dying because I couldn't stop it. If my dying helps stop them from dying, then that is a sacrifice I am willing to make. Dying for one's loved ones is a better way to go out than dying from old age if it means they die." I said, making her look deeply at me, unable to understand why I would say that without a hint of a lie.
She didn't know I had already died once while protecting someone I cared about. Doing it once would make the second time easier, after all, I experienced death already once, it's nothing new to me. I may not look like it, but every woman I sleep with, I do have feelings for.
It may be shallow, but at the end of the day, I care about them. It may be sexual, but emotions are emotions. "We will head out now, be ready for anything," Starfire said as we moved towards the plane.
Cassandra, Kara, and I sat in one row of chairs as the others took up their seats. Raven would glance at me from time to time, as we made our way towards a mountain area. As we entered the valley near it, Raven spoke up.
"They are doing the summoning ritual!" She yelled out as I looked out the window. "Open the plane door!" I yelled out as I got up and jumped out of the plane. As giant tree roots broke out of the ground, I landed on one as the others rushed towards the ritual to stop it.
Just as the roots made it there, they broke out, burning the roots around the platform. "Well, option B it is." Activating Shunko, I rushed along the roots, getting to the platform within a couple of seconds as an eight-foot-tall, four-eyed, horned freak stood on it.
He looked at me, and I spoke. "Man, aren't you one ugly motherfucker. I bet your mother hated you." I said, making him frown at me. "Human, your insolence will be the death of you." He said, As I made six lightning balls. "Nah, sex will be the death of me. At least, that's how I want to go out this time around." I said, pushing off the root and landing a kick into his stomach as lightning descended onto the platform.
The dust cleared, and he was still standing. He was only pushed back four feet. Well fuck me, I thought to myself as he reached for my leg. Making me use my other one to kick his head and push off of him.
Sliding on the ground, I sighed, why couldn't things be easy? I thought as I noticed Raven starting to do her thing. Well, no point in holding back as I used the Super Sayain skill, feeling my muscles expand as the ground began to tremble.
Yellow Ki burst out of me as I stood there. Trigon moved, showing up in front of me as he sent a punch towards my face, as I ducked down and sent a straight punch into his gut, making him grunt and slide back ten feet. My hand throbbed for a moment as it felt like hitting a steel wall.
I didn't give him time to recover as I moved quickly behind him, kicking the back of his knee, making him stumble forward, as I sent a kick towards his head, only for him to grab it and throw me. Sliding on my back before stopping and rolling to the side as his fist hit the ground, cracking it as I kept moving.
Finally getting off the ground, my mind raced with ideas as I wanted to see if Super Sayain came with Ki blasts or not, as I tried making it show up in my hand, only for nothing to happen. Well, damn, I guess Ki usage is its own thing altogether. Maybe I need to roll all my good skill points to try and get it.
Rushing towards him once more, I needed him to pay attention to only me. As I got closer, he started to grow larger, making me jump back, and I kept moving backwards. "Man, you are even more ugly now. You keep surprising me." I said, jesting with him as he snarled at me.
I activated Wood Style: Wood Golem as I lifted off the ground, cutting off Super Sayain as it would cost too much to keep it running now. I ordered the Wood Golem to rush forward and grab a hold of Trigon. Trying to buy as much time as possible.
