Unit 2 stepped off their plane in China's capital, Beijing. After clearing the airport, they headed straight to their hotel. Once inside their rooms, Aki collapsed onto the bed while the others unpacked.
Aki: "Ah, finally… I get to rest."
Fuji: "Yeah. You weren't able to sleep at all on the flight."
Fuji sat down beside him while Yuta leaned against the wall in front of them.
Yuta: "I was asleep the whole time, so I didn't know… why couldn't Aki sleep?"
Fuji: "Basically, Aki's terrified of flights. He thinks the plane will crash any second. And to make it worse, Ai was clinging to him the whole trip. Then Megumi saw that—well, you know her. She got jealous and gave him the side-eye."
Yuta: "So bro was getting sandwich-ed by two girls… literally, huh?"
Aki: "Yeah, you can say it like that. Speaking of them, where are the girls? They said they'd investigate and come back early."
Fuji: "Do you really trust their 'investigation'? They're probably out shopping or something."
Yuta: "Worst part is, Megumi and Ai are together. The two most chaotic members in one group. What could possibly go wrong?"
Right as he finished, the door opened—revealing the girls, arms loaded with shopping bags.
Aki, Yuta, Fuji (in sync): "…As expected."
Trailing behind them was Asuka, also carrying shopping bags. Clearly, she had joined them.
Asuka: "Hello guys~!"
Aki: "IF YOU WERE WITH THEM, WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP THIS FAKE 'INVESTIGATION' EXCUSE?!"
Asuka (with puppy eyes): "But… I'm just a girl."
Aki: "Seriously? Is this why I gave that speech back in Chapter 5?!"
Yuta: "Don't worry, Aki. We'll get through this."
Fuji: "Okay, okay, enough. Let's not fight. We need to concentrate on our mission."
Asuka: "Yep! Here's the plan: we'll wait until sunset, then head to the areas where the black smoke is spotted most often and collect data."
Aki: "…So we're not going to save them immediately?"
Asuka: "We will. But listen—you can't just go into sacrifice mode. If anyone from Unit 2 dies or gets seriously injured, this mission will fail and we might not stop this disaster."
Yuta: "Why do you have so much faith in this unit anyway?"
Asuka: "Because… my salary depends on you guys."
Fuji facepalmed, while Asuka chuckled at his reaction.
Fuji: "…What did I expect from our assistant."
Sunset – Crowded Streets of Beijing
Unit 2 moved into one of the busiest areas of Beijing where black smoke was most commonly seen.
Aki: "How long do we have to wait?"
As if in answer, the air thickened. Black smoke seeped into the streets, coiling between alleys and rising over rooftops.
Aki: guys, let the citizen evacuate!
As the smoke start to go in fulll form, they evacuate in time, meanwhile Aki notices a masked soldier from the Project Arean and he ran towards it, the solder ran as he notices Aki chasing him.
Aki: Megumi, come with me
As she nods and ran with him, they both chase the solder across the top of buildings in insane highests, as the soldier jump down the both stopped and look and the solder was in trampoline holded by other soldier
Aki: sh*t, should i attack with erase ?
(note : erase is an attack of Aki which he can charge to destroy everything with his dark element, it can destroy everything under 80 km radius to even a single person)
Megumi: do you want delete the entire half of the capital or what ?
Aki : agh fine
Asuka called them to return
Asuka (on phone) : have you caught the soldier ?
Aki: no, they escaped
Megumi: is everyone ok ?
Asuka: yeah, we manage to evacuate everyone in time, you two should come
both noded and they came back to the hotel
Aki: i guess that's all for today, pretty rough
Megumi: the trampoline gotta be the most unexpected thing
Asuka: atleast we manage to evacuate the people
Yuta: hey, tomorrow will be the national fireworks day in Hong Kong, shall we go there ?
Yuta: but we still need to reasearch about the smoke
As he could finish his sentence Fuji interrupts him
Fuji: c'mon Yuta, let's enjoy, done be so work obsessed
Yuta: fine....
Yuki teases him seeing his reaction and poke his cheek
Yuki: aww, look at you pouting like a kid~
Yuta: stop that!
Anna: you two are flirting infront of us ? even Megumi don't have that courage to flirt with Aki infront of us
Yuki and Megumi blushes and their faces goes red like tomato
both in sync: SHUT UP!
Anna chuckled seeing their reaction
Aki: alright everyone let's go to the fireworks show
