Chapter 1 - The Graphic Scenes

His day started like any other. The alarm taking him out of a beautiful dream. Him swearing as he rolled out of bed and right onto the wooden floor. Window broken open because there was a stranger in his house. The shower was stalled because his sister was too much of a beauty queen.

Same old same old. Genesis turned his head slowly. There was someone in his room. A homeless man by the looks of it. He came behind the homeless man whilst he was digging into his drawer.

"Yo, I think you should leave, now."

Because of the layout of his bedroom. The guy hadn't even noticed being snuck up on. The person who had broken in turned around, his twitching alerting Genesis. He quickly backed away, almost slipping on his two sizes too big pyjamas.

He glanced towards the soccer ball on the ground he had a plan in mind. He flicked the ball up into the air over his head. He spun around gaining the momentum and speed, once the ball was in the perfect position he volleyed it straight into the invader's face.

The impact of the ball caused him to recoil his head back. Genesis took the opportunity to slam him into the drawer. The sound of the wood breaking alerted his parents who were eating breakfast downstairs.

"Gen, what are you doing up there?"

His father questioned with the most exhausted voice ever.

"You know me dad. Just can't stop kicking that darn ball."

Genesis's eyes ran across the room with speed. His primary instincts told him to take the wooden splinters and stab him. But that action of self-defence would spread blood, too much blood. Who knew the guy's condition. A paper cut could put him six feet under.

Genesis already had enough on his plate killing a homeless man wouldn't make it any better. He looked around for a better option and found it.

His lamp shone bright, and he reached down and pulled out the cord, making it a weapon to choke. Once the man stopped squirming Genesis let go. Genesis rested his head against his bed. What a riot of a day.

Why had this guy chosen his house to break into? It didn't matter now. His breaths were heavy as he looked upon the unconscious body. The pulse was still noticeable so he was alive. He felt better that the man was alive but still pretty angry that he broke his window.

While he sat, exhausted after the previous altercation he finally decided to do something about the body in his room. He heaved the man onto his shoulder and dragged him out the window.

"Hope you like Hotel Genesis and please mind your head on the way out."

While the man slept on their grass he looked like an average homeless person. Nothing indicated that Genesis had just pulled off the 1 versus 1 of his life.

He gazed out the window for a while longer to see if he was down for the count and when he confirmed it. He got ready for school like nothing had happened. He didn't want to tell his mother or father because they just might replace his window with reinforced steel.

The morning rush was the same as usual for Genesis. Having a shower. Brushing his teeth and putting on his school uniform. Once his tie was somewhat adjusted he left with a backpack on his shoulders and a sandwich in his mouth.

He looked pretty normal because today was just another average day of school. His dark skin seemed to gleam in the sunlight, his hair twisted in unkept dreadlocks, long enough to cover his forehead, but short enough not to cover his vision.

His uniform was in the style that he liked. His white button-up up almost faded but was neatly tucked in. His tie was loose wasn't choking him like some other students liked. He secretly wore baggy sweatpants that looked similar enough to what the boys were supposed to wear.

They could wear whatever shoes they wanted to wear on Fridays so Genesis just wore his favourite pair of beat-up sneakers along with his classic mismatched socks.

He said his muffled goodbyes and ran out, slowing his pace when he saw his best friend Lautaro across the street.

Lautaro was the best friend. Ever since they had met they were in sync, like two cogs in a machine. They did everything together including sitting in detention for the 25th time in the school year. Lautaro was hoping for 100 at the end of the school year.

One could see his signature black and yellow colour scheme from a mile away. His curly but also well-kept hair was black near the roots then dyed yellow everywhere else. His left eye was a sad and void black but his right was always a go happy go lucky yellow.

He wore the same uniform as Genesis even with the loose tie. But he took time to match his socks. His tan skin was rare in their neighbourhood. But he was always proud of being Brazilian.

Genesis calmly diverged into the lane Lautaro was walking and he spoke first. His voice was neutral, it always was.

"A homeless guy broke into my room."

Lautaro's eyes widened before replying with a sarcastic almost childlike voice.

"Good morning to you too Genesis. My day is going fantastic, thanks for asking."

Lautaro took the conversation slightly seriously. Genesis knew because he spoke in his normal semi-deep voice.

"The things that happen to you, man. You have to be the most unlucky person I know. You're probably the reason I got suspended last week."

"Yeah, I don't I was the reason why you decided to throw a chair out the window from the third floor."

Lautaro then switched the conversation back to the problem at hand.

"How did you get rid of him?"

"Ball to the face. Then I slammed his face into my desk and choked him out with a lamp cord. After that, I threw him out my window."

"Brutal. Did you tell your parents?"

Genesis turned to him and raised an eyebrow towards him.

"I'm guessing that's a no."

Lautaro put his hands in his pockets as Genesis finished his sandwich. Lautaro looked as if he remembered something.

"Yo, a new girl is coming to school today."

"Actually?"

"For real. They say she's from Europe or something."

Genesis paid more attention now. There was never anything new in his school but that could change now.

"Is she-"

Lautaro cut him off he already knew what Genesis was going to ask.

"Yeah, at least that's what I heard."

Genesis looked at Lautaro strangely.

"Who the hell are your contacts gang? You know everything."

"I'm not spilling info on my contacts. They wanna stay private."

Genesis was baffled at this point. He walked in front of Lautaro and faced him.

"Who are they?! I promise you it is not that serious."

Lautaro scoffed and smiled.

"You'll never know."

"It's Hana isn't it?"

"Yes, it is."

Hana was usually a seclusive person. Who liked technology more than people.

"Why does she give you info? How does she even know the info?"

"I think she likes me."

Genesis stopped and looked at Lautaro with a serious expression.

"Fine, I'm paying her. She just hacks into the school mainframe she told me about how easy it is to get past the wall and bypass the cardiovascular whatever."

Genesis laughed.

"Where did you get cardiovascular from? You're so slow."

"Probably your fault as well."

After a few minutes, they made it to their high-end high school. It was made in 70's and had the classic old school look. With the red brick pattern. QCQ in big letters boasting the school's name.

A huge gate blocking the school's entrance. It had an indoor pool which nobody used in the last 5 years. It also had a huge football field and so much more.

Their school was at an awkward peace but neither Genesis nor Lautaro liked peace. So that is why they did what they did best. That is why they coined the term "ragebait" like an award.

While walking through the halls Genesis purposefully bumped into a rather burly boy. He turned around already knowing what Genesis was up to. He stared at Genesis with piercing eyes but Genesis wasn't afraid he was ecstatic.

"Staring at someone is not scary."

"Careful Genesis, you don't want to mess with me."

Genesis pursed his lips and looked at him with long blinks. Then the masterclass began. Genesis spoke in a mocking voice as the first move.

"You don't wanna mess with me. Who do you think you are?"

He could hear the low growling of the boy even with the overlapping noises of the average school hallway.

"Why are you growling like that? Are you a wolf?"

Genesis answered his question. The thinking process was fast like he needed it to be he had to be the fastest thinker in the room when it comes to doing what he does. He could see the despair in the poor boy's eyes when he said that and he fed off it.

"Oh no don't tell me that you're the alpha wolf and I'm just the measly jackal."

Genesis was laughing out loud at this point. The hallway chatter also died down as everyone had their eyes on them.

The growling was now distinct. And the greatest part was that everybody was watching. It seemed like the masterclass continued.

He turned to his crowd and gave them a great performance. Genesis pointed his thumb backwards as if to say "take a look at this guy" and it was working so well that it almost made Genesis shed a tear on how beautiful his work was.

He knew that his victim had a clear habit of growling when he was angry and he took advantage of that. Now voice was cocky and loud when

"I'm sorry if I angered the alpha inside of you."

Genesis mocked, almost bursting out in his mocking laughter but he tried his best to contain it. Which also meant he didn't try at all. After his loud signature laugh, he continued.

"Someone get this man off Disney Channel. It's 2025, lock in."

Genesis knew the embarrassment was almost making his victim go over the edge. He got ready for the punch. Just as he predicted it came. A huge fist flying at his face he didn't fret for this had happened many times before.

He hurriedly dived out of the way causing the attacker's curled-up hand to crash into the multicoloured locker behind him. He heard the screams of the boy as he held his hand. The next was rather simple, find a teacher while running as soon as possible.

Genesis looked up to the court. Time to flee as his time jester was over. But as he completed his normal routine he saw a face unfamiliar a face he wished he could have seen a million times over.

The face was new to him. He had been attending this school for years now but he had never seen her before. It was the most taintless face he had ever seen their eyes caught each other's in the moment.

Her marvellous light green eyes matched with her golden blonde hair. Her polished face was judging yet slightly amused by the faintest smile at the edge of her lips.

Her appearance was a divine intervention for Genesis. She was so gorgeous that if she dropped dead the first time you'd think your eyes were lying, come back to life and drop dead again.

Moments of bliss only last so long as a fist came towards Genesis's face and this time he was too slow to avoid it. Normally Lautaro was his protector in their daily endeavour but today he was on the other side of the school.

The ice on his nose was something Genesis was used to by now. He'd been in this scenario too many times now. Running away was his daily job he thought he would be better at it by now.

Walking into his most visited place in the school once again, the principal sat in front of him like he had so many times before. He wasn't worried, Genesis never was. His parents why practically the reason why this school was still running. He loved being corrupt.

As the principal talked about consequences and why two wrongs don't make a right. Genesis fell asleep for only a few seconds. The boredom was too much to bear.

But something strange occurred. There was an announcement that alerted Genesis.

"Emergency. All students report to the field. Repeat all students report to the field. This is not a drill."

Genesis was awoken by the strange announcement. He looked at the microphone on the principal's desk, which was how the entire PA system operated. Yet nobody was operating it.

He then looked up properly. What he saw bewildered him. There was no principal. Only he and the boy who punched him. Genesis looked at him strangely as if he had something to do with these strange occurrences.

He walked out cautiously. Striding with carefulness, he made his way down from the third floor down to their field.

He looked up at the sky and saw that the sun was gone. It was just a plain sky blue sky. Yet it was still bright. He was one of the first people on the field.

The field was a football field that had a track around it. He crossed the track and saw Lautaro in the field. He approached with a smile.

"Yo, is what I think happening happening? No sun in the sky. All the teachers mysteriously disappeared. Dude, we're in an isekai."

Genesis smiled as well.

"Yes, we are."

He hugged Lautaro and they both cheered. Which got them strange looks from another student.

The field was filled up with students over time because they had no other option. Soon enough all 600 students were on the field. Then a stage fell out of the sky. It nearly crushed a girl.

Then two strange people appeared. No. Two strange people teleported onto the stage and one of them had a megaphone.
