"You're from the Yulan Plane?"
The Redbud Sovereign scrutinized Sadius carefully.
A tri-element soul mutation, and with earth-element innate talent on top of that.
But still…
"How did you bring this dragon egg out of the Yulan Plane and all the way to Infernal Realm?" The Redbud Sovereign clearly didn't fully believe Sadius' story.
After all, she knew very well that Beirut had already become the lower Sovereign of Wind.
Once someone becomes a Sovereign, how could there possibly be anything happening in their material plane that they wouldn't know?
If Beirut knew about this Azure Dragon egg, how could he possibly allow a God-level magical beast to take it out of the Yulan Plane?
The Redbud Sovereign pondered silently.
If it were her, she would definitely hatch the Azure Dragon egg, form a soul-bond, nurture it to the Highgod stage, and then let it refine that water-element lower Sovereign spark.
That would absolutely become a great aid to Beirut.
"Sovereign, are you referring to this egg? Actually…I'm its brother. I was born several thousand years ago. For some reason, it just hasn't hatched yet. Back in the Yulan Plane, its soul aura was so faint that I didn't dare leave it behind there. So I brought it with me to Infernal Realm. Only recently has it started showing the faintest trace of soul fluctuations."
Sadius had long since prepared a perfect cover story for his second body.
He would just say it was his "unhatched blood brother."
After all, in many planes, it wasn't uncommon for a dragon egg to remain unhatched for a long time.
And before hatching, a dragon egg normally wouldn't have much of a soul presence.
He could easily claim that the egg only began developing a weak soul aura after arriving in Infernal Realm.
The Redbud Sovereign glanced at Sadius, then back at the Azure Dragon egg floating in front of her.
Indeed, although the soul aura inside the egg was weak, she could sense that the bloodline aura inside the egg was very similar to the one in front of her.
"Could it be… this truly is the second Azure Dragon Divine Beast born naturally by Heaven and Earth?"
The Redbud Sovereign carefully studied the egg before her.
"Then what about this egg?"
The Redbud Sovereign summoned over the other egg.
This one clearly had no connection to Sadius.
"Sovereign, that egg belongs to the child of an old acquaintance. Before his death, he entrusted it to me for safekeeping."
Before the Redbud Sovereign could question further, Sadius immediately swore an oath to the Overgod.
"In the name of the Overgod of Fate above, if I, Sadius, have spoken any lies in this matter, may my soul be scattered and annihilated."
The Redbud Sovereign hadn't expected Sadius to directly swear before an Overgod in her presence.
"You don't need to go that far. I believe you."
What she didn't realize was that out of everything Sadius had just said, only one sentence was actually true.
The oath he swore only applied to that one true sentence, and had nothing to do with the rest of his fabricated story.
But the Redbud Sovereign misunderstood.
She thought Sadius had sworn on everything he just said, and so she naturally believed every single word.
So it seemed that this Azure Dragon egg was indeed Heaven and Earth's second-born Azure Dragon Divine Beast.
But after probing the egg further, she noticed the soul within was extremely weak, showing no sign of growing stronger.
If it stayed like this, the egg would never hatch.
This made the Redbud Sovereign feel somewhat anxious.
She had once owed the Four Divine Beasts a great favor.
Originally, she'd wanted to find an opportunity to repay that debt.
But unexpectedly, the Four Divine Beasts were killed by the Sovereign of Light.
With her strength, she naturally couldn't avenge them—nor had her debt been so great that she would fight the Sovereign of Light over it.
She had thought maybe she could repay that favor to the descendants of the Four Divine Beasts.
But now, all the Four Divine Beasts' descendants were hiding within the Blood Ridge Continent's Skyrite Mountains.
As a Sovereign, she naturally wouldn't go out of her way to seek out a group of mere Highgods just to repay a debt.
And now…The second Azure Dragon Divine Beast of the Heaven was right before her.
Even though it hadn't yet hatched, wouldn't it be best to repay that favor to this unborn Azure Dragon?
"Sadius, this dragon egg will remain with me for now. Don't worry—I won't harm it."
After saying this, the Redbud Sovereign returned Sadius' Coiling Dragon Ring and the other egg to him.
Sadius felt a bit unwilling.
That was his second divine body!
If the Redbud Sovereign accidentally ruined it, wouldn't he want to cry?
But…What could he do?
She was a Sovereign. He had no choice.
"Alright then. I'll temporarily borrow your dragon egg. Naturally, I won't shortchange you. I see you've almost reached the final step of fusing Gravity Space with the Pulsing Earth Profound Mystery. Let Reisgem guide you."
The Redbud Sovereign turned her gaze toward her son, who at this moment was tossing Dylin around like a toy.
Dylin was miserable—constantly thrown back and forth by Amethyst Beasts like a sandbag.
Suddenly feeling his mother's gaze on him, Reisgem froze, not understanding what was happening.
"Reisgem, guide Sadius in his cultivation. I have something to attend to."
The Sovereign personally ordered her precious son to instruct someone else in cultivation.
Sadius felt like fortune had descended upon him far too suddenly!
Reisgem originally wasn't very willing, but after thinking of something, his interest suddenly rose.
"Little ones, return that beast to him."
Reisgem immediately ordered the Amethyst Beasts to carry Dylin back and drop him beside Sadius.
At this point, Dylin's soul was still muddled and dazed.
"Ahem. Since Mother told me to teach you, then starting today, you're my person. As for your subordinate, I won't play with him anymore."
Reisgem gave an awkward laugh.
"They're just some superficial injuries. With that beast's body, after some rest he'll be fine."
Sadius felt helpless.
There was really no way for him to save Dylin earlier.
He supported Dylin off to the side.
Since they were no longer in the mist, Dylin would wake up soon.
Then Reisgem transformed into a cute bald-headed youth and flew over to Sadius.
"Now, call me Teacher. Come on, let's hear it!"
Sadius was speechless.
If he called this brat "Teacher," wouldn't he be lowering his own status?
Even if one day he himself became a Sovereign, he'd still have this stained history of acknowledging Reisgem as his teacher!
Even though Reisgem was probably countless trillions of years old, in Sadius' eyes, he still looked like a child.
There was no way he could truly bow to him as a master.
"Hmph. If it weren't for Mother, you think I'd willingly teach you? Not throwing rocks at you is already giving you face!"
"Watch closely. I'll only demonstrate once. Whether you can comprehend it depends on yourself."
Then, Reisgem displayed his signature ultimate skill—the Amethyst Space.
This time, he didn't target Sadius, merely released it into the surroundings.
He controlled 108 streams of Earth gravitational force, constantly shifting them.
The Amethyst Space changed again and again, each change altering the gravity—sometimes even flipping from gravity to repulsion.
Watching this scene, Sadius immediately gained deep insights.
His two high-level mysteries had already reached the final step before full mastery and fusion.
Reisgem's demonstration allowed Sadius to achieve instant enlightenment.
In the next moment, he fully mastered both Profound Mysteries and then…completely fused them.
