Sadius returned to the imperial palace of Pouant. In the days that followed, he began personally instructing his son.
One day, Dolantell came to find Sadius.
"Milord, even now I still haven't managed to break past the Saint-level limit and become a God. My talent is just too poor outside of the Water and Wind elements," Dolantell said with frustration.
"You were once a Midgod expert who had already fused profound mysteries. You should know how important it is to become a God through your own cultivation. Don't worry. Even Saints possess endless lifespans. We have plenty of time."
Dolantell returned to his residence. He had originally planned to ask Sadius if he could help him acquire a Divine Spark, but Sadius insisted on him cultivating on his own. So, Dolantell had no choice but to follow his lord's orders.
Not long after, Laws of Heaven and Earth suddenly descended upon the city of Pouant.
Sadius looked toward the direction where the rules of Heaven and Earth descended and instantly understood what had happened.
Cesar had become a God in the Laws of Darkness.
This fellow had actually achieved Divinity more than two hundred years earlier than in the original timeline.
Truthfully, Cesar's cultivation had long been at the brink—he could have become a God at any moment. It was only a matter of piercing through a thin membrane. Once pierced, everything would naturally fall into place, and Divinity would be attained.
Clearly, Sadius' appearance had changed Cesar's life experiences, granting him new insights. So that thin membrane had been pierced earlier than expected.
"Milord, I've become a God!" Cesar shouted excitedly.
Cesar felt his spine straighten the moment he became a God.
Of course, this wasn't in front of Sadius—but in front of his old flame, Rosalie.
Now Rosalie was still just a Saint, while he, Rosalie, had already become a God. No matter what, he had to go flaunt this in front of her.
"All right, I already know what you're planning. Just come back early."
With Sadius' permission, Cesar grinned and flew off from Pouant City, heading directly toward the Ice Goddess Temple.
Not long after, Sadius received yet another piece of good news.
Reyna had broken through the Saint-level in the Laws of Life.
It had taken only ten years for Reyna to become a Saint-level powerhouse in life magic.
Of course, this also benefited greatly from her incredibly strong spiritual force as a ninth-level Grand Magus of Light.
This showed that Reyna's talent in the Laws of Life was far superior to her talent in the Laws of Light.
Now that Reyna had become a Saint, Sadius no longer had to worry about her lifespan.
With the inheritance of the rules given by the Life Temple, Sadius believed that with Reyna's talent, she would one day cultivate to become a God as well.
Sadius then returned to the Magical Beast Mountain Range. He had an important matter to deal with.
Magical Beast Mountain Range, Mist Valley.
Sadius was cultivating within a palace.
"Doehring, are you ready?"
Doehring Cowart's soul floated out from the Coiling Dragon ring.
"Let's do it. I hope this method works."
During this period of time, Sadius had been helping Doehring Cowart research how to use a Soul Gold Bead to nourish his soul.
Doehring's current state was one of a disembodied soul without a physical body. Due to the influence of the Coiling Dragon ring, he hadn't entered the Netherworld—nor could he enter it anymore.
Whenever he used magic, he would consume his own soul power. This consumption couldn't be restored through simple rest.
Thus, Doehring Cowart had never been able to comprehend the Laws.
If he could comprehend the Laws, he could even cultivate into a God in soul form. When that happened, the Laws of Heaven and Earth would descend and give him a divine clone—essentially reviving him.
Right now, what Sadius needed to do was replenish Doehring Cowart's soul whenever he cast spells.
The Soul Gold Bead was the most crucial item in this process.
However, in a soul-only state, Doehring couldn't refine such a treasure that was meant for Gods to restore their soul energy.
So, Sadius came up with an idea:
He would act as an intermediary, slowly channeling the soul energy within the Soul Gold Bead into Doehring's soul.
This meant Sadius had to continuously help Doehring restore his soul, while Doehring repeatedly cast magic to deepen his comprehension of the profound mysteries.
Before entering the Coiling Dragon ring, Doehring had merely been a Saint Magus at the peak of the Earth element, with half a foot into the pinnacle of Saint-level. It was only because of the ring's special effects that he had been stronger than ordinary peak Saints.
Now, wanting to rely solely on repeatedly casting magic to gain insights into the profound mysteries of the Earth element would definitely take a very long time.
Fortunately, Sadius himself had already become a God in the Earth element and could give Doehring some guidance.
Sadius' Earth-element divine clone and his true body stayed with Doehring in Mist Valley, accompanying him in cultivation.
His Destruction-element divine clone remained in the Pouant Empire to accompany Reyna and Luoshen.
Meanwhile, his Darkness-element divine clone went to the Extreme Northern Icefields.
He wasn't heading to the divine plane—he was going there to cause trouble for Hodan.
"Hodan, long time no see."
When Hodan saw Sadius, he couldn't help but feel terrified.
"Sadius, what do you want?"
"What do I want? If you hadn't thrown me into the Planar Prison back then, I wouldn't have been able to cultivate into a God. I came here to thank you!"
Hodan's face turned ashen.
"Sadius, how about we call that matter settled? I can compensate you."
"I already said I'm here to thank you. How could we just settle it?"
Immediately afterward, Midgod-level Hodan was brutally beaten by Sadius right there in the Extreme Northern Icefields.
The Icefields weren't inhabited by only Hodan; there were also several ascetic Saint-level experts living there.
The entire Icefield echoed with Hodan's screams.
"Sadius, I'm a planar guardian! I'm part of the Sovereign's army! If you treat me like this, I'll definitely report you to the Sovereign's army!"
Hodan's words couldn't fool Sadius.
Yes, planar guardians were indeed members of the Sovereign's army.
But across the four supreme planes and the seven divine planes, there were seventy-seven Sovereigns in total. Naturally, there were multiple Sovereign armies—not just one.
Offending you, Hodan, only meant offending one Sovereign's army.
Who knew which army's teleportation array Sadius would end up using if he wanted to visit the divine plane someday?
Besides, Hodan was just a Midgod, a marginal figure even within the Eight Major Clans. Why would the Sovereign's army care about a small matter like this?
As long as he wasn't blatantly challenging the authority of a Sovereign or their army, no one would bother intervening.
When Hodan saw that invoking the Sovereign army didn't work, he immediately brought up Odin.
"Sadius, Lord Odin owes me a favor! If you keep attacking me, when Lord Odin comes out from the Necropolis of the Gods, he definitely won't spare you!"
Sadius' fist paused.
Odin?
The Father of the Gods from Norse mythology?
How could he possibly appear in the Coiling Dragon universe?
Then Sadius suddenly remembered.
Odin wasn't the Norse deity—but rather one of the Five Kings of the Planar Prison, the Evil King himself!
He possessed two Highgod clones, one of the Wind element and one of the Death element.
His strength was terrifying, at the level of a Seven-Star Fiend.
So, he had gone to the Necropolis of the Gods too? Wasn't he supposed to still be imprisoned? Did he escape as well?
"I'm also related to Lord Beirut by blood ties, and even Lord Leylin owes me a favor! Do you think I'm being arrogant? You can't beat me, so all you can do is use someone else's name to scare people. As a God, you're truly disgraceful."
Hodan was on the verge of tears.
"Hand over everything you've embezzled all these years."
"They're all here, take them. Can we end it here?"
"I mean your spatial ring. Remove your bond and give it to me."
Hodan's face twisted in despair. This Sadius was after all of his assets!
